Run a VI continuous

Hi guys

I have prepared a Vi n I'm ure there no errors but trying to throw by pressing RUN it works only for 3 seconds, then stops running. but it works well when you press run permanently. but the problem is that the continuous operation is not a normal way of executing a VI.

Hope you can give me help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Unless someone sees something I'm not... I can't think of a logical reason for the loop to end with the exception of the two obvious conditions.

If you use Outlook Express, then go to tools | Options | Security and check in the restricted area and that you have to warn you if other programs try to send e-mail.

In any case, as suggested by Wunders, you will need to get www.malwarebytes.org and also an antivirus such as www.microsoft.com/security_essentials .  Then do a full scan of the system with these tools and see what it removes.

  • I like to keep a true-false program run

    Hello!

I'm new to labview, and I began to practice. I would like to create a small program that generates a random number from 0 to 100, and the user can enter a number of his choice, then the program says if it is equal or not. I'm almost done with it, my problem is that I run the program, it generates a number, indicates if the number in numerical order is equal to the random number, and it stops. So if I change the number in the control, nothing happens, but if choose to run the program continuously, it generates numbers of every moment.
So my question is, how do I keep the program running, without changing the random number, so that the user has time to enter its own number?
    Thanks in advance!

    I joined my program.

You need to place the code in a while loop. Add a stop button so that the user can tell the program when to stop.  Also put a wait function (ms) in the loop with 100 to 200 ms delay if the loop does not turn millions of times per second while you wait for the user to enter a number.

When you get more advanced with LabVIEW, you want to learn how to use the structure of the event for programs like this.

  • Cannot run a few rare games and programs, error: Windows Explorer crashes

    Original title: Explorer Crash!

I am running windows xp sp3. My explore blocks every minute. The hook of the office and taskbar, but the programs that run on top continues to operate smoothly and even I can work with them. Then I open the Task Manager and end Explorer and it starts again. It works very well for a minute and then it crashes again.
Now I am unable to run some games and programs. They close automatically when explore crashes. Help, please!

If I were you, I would uninstall the problematic Windows Desktop Search (you can always reinstall it later), reboot and see how things work.

Since it is not supposed to fix a system that may be achieved malicious software, I would then scan your system for malware:

Download, install, update and do a quick scan with these free malware detection programs (not at the same time):

    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

SAS will probably be a lot that you can just let it remove tracking cookies.

They can be uninstalled later if you wish.

The scans by operating clean, restart and see how things work.

Here's how to solve the Explorer Shell Extensions of (these are generic, but still good instructions for troubleshooting):

When the Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) is wrong (especially when right click), begin to suspect third-party add-ons explore extension.

Those who would be the Explorer extensions that do not belong to Microsoft.  This means that extensions that you have added.  Solution Explorer extensions are generally well and installation of certain applications will install extensions from Explorer solutions for you, give you a choice and sometimes they can be added without your knowledge when you
    install new software.

Solution Explorer extensions are sometimes added as a new right-click option, you see on folders and files (like the scan of this file, open that file, play this song).

If there is something in particular that you do during exploration that you know will be the cause of the problem, which will help focus on the problem and the help that you suddenly know, when you have found and corrected.  If you can get there when you want it, make an adjustment and then there is no message the next time you don't do anything, you do, you have found and corrected.

First of all you need a way to see what modules explore you have installed now and a way to turn them off (not uninstall them) so you can understand that we are at the origin of the problem.  You can have a lot of extensions not installed Microsoft don't even know you about.

Download ShellExView here to see what Explorer extensions you have loaded:

    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/shexview.html

ShellExView does not install anything on your computer, simply of runs and displays.

After launch ShellExView (shexview.exe double click) and acknowledge the security warning, adjust the column widths you see everything
clearly.  Under Options, choose "Mark non-Microsoft Extensions" and extensions not Microsoft will be in pink, but on some systems which is a difficult color to see, so click on display, choose the columns and move Microsoft column closer to the top (Mount), so you can see on your screen without having to scroll left and right.

Click on the header of column called Microsoft to sort display (by clicking on the column heading in Microsoft) then all the non Microsoft extensions are at the top and easy to see.  They will say 'No' since they are not Microsoft extensions.

Non-Microsoft extensions would be things you have added (non-Microsoft) and are what you should be suspect.

You can also Google the name of a suspect add-on and see if there is any success on the mistakes of the DEP and what other people have done about it.

    You can Google something like:

    Explorer XP crashing

You must complete your suspect on behalf of adds on.

See what kind of search results hits you get and are looking for solutions or situations that sound like yours.

I'm not a defender of trial and error, but I can't think of another way to do...

Right click and disable the non Microsoft extensions one at a time (or maybe in groups of 3-5), keep a list, so you can enable them again later if you wish. The result of the change is immediate and no reboot is necessary.  Test your failure condition.  If the Explorer starts to act normally, you'll know that some extension you just disabled in this group of 3-5 is the culprit, then you can start to enable them one by one until the Explorer fails again.

If you recognize all the extensions that have been added or recently downloaded, start with these first.

Disabling the extension does not uninstall the extension - it is just disabled.  You can always enable it later, so keep track of things by writing them down.

Disable them one at a time or in small groups (to make things go faster) until your right click does not generate an error, and then restart and try again.  You have disabled the last extension would be suspicious.

You can also disable all non-Microsoft extensions, restart, test your fault condition and allow them one at a time until you find the one that generates the failure condition.

If you have a large number of extensions, you can disable them is small groups, 3-5 at a time instead of 1 at a time until your system starts to behave.  When it does not, you will know that the problem is one of the extensions of this small group and you can enable members of the Group at a time until the problem returns, then the problem is with the last extension that you enabled.

The hope is that you will find extensions that is causing the problem and then you can figure out what on this subject - either uninstall it or see if you can get an update of the author of the extension of their web page.

I have not your problem, but I can when you toggle extensions, the extension is immediately disabled, so disable an extension does not seem to require a restart, but if you think that you have found the problem, I reboot and repeat the test in any case to be sure the problem disappeared.

If you post your non-Microsoft extensions list, maybe someone will recognize it as a potential problem.

If you find the offending extension that's the problem, please let us know what it is that I can add to my list.

  • PC fan runs constantly

my pc fan runs very fast continuously

    Hi Gordon,.

Thak you to contact Microsoft Community.

I understand from the description of the issue you have with PC fan. I'll be happy to help you with this problem.

    (1) did you do changes on the computer before this problem?
    (2) what is the brand and model of the computer?

Fans of goal is to cool the inside of the PC or, in the case of the CPU fan to keep the processor cool. Most motherboards have temperature sensors that regulate when and at what speed the fan works. Initially, the fan runs at full speed until desired is reducing the temperature is reached, and then the fan slows down or, in some cases, completely stops until the temperature builds up again. Once the temperature hits the upper fan is started again and the cooling process starts again.

If the fan is on continuously, there is a possibility that the inside temperature of your PC is warmer than it should be. Usually, the BIOS OF THE PC will be a diagnostic section where you can check the actual temperature and the revolutions per second of the fans. If the temperature is high to consitently, it may be due to the dust sitting on the internal components. If your PC is a desktop computer, you can open the case and carefully blow to remove any accumulation of dust using a can of clean air under pressure. If you have a laptop then, unless you know how take a part, it will be a more difficult job.

In case, computer laptop or desktop, if you don't know what you're doing I suggest you leave well alone and technician computer geta to watch. A person with little knowledge of the inside of a PC can cause immense damage even just trying to remove dust. Yes PC Magazines do clean your PC look so easy, the only problem is that they are not there to pick up the pieces when something goes drastically wrong.

Without the PC in front of me, it is difficult to say exactly what the problem is. It seems related temperature and it could be a faulty sensor on the motherboard. It could also be a faulty fan; anyway that it's better if a professional technician look at it. Alternatively, if it is still under warranty contact the PC manufacturer.

I hope it helps. If you have problems in the future, please let us know. We will be happy to help you.
  • Spontaneous running after the Vista upgrade

I have a portable dv2000t PC (EQ883AV) that I bought in 2006.  It has a "Vista Capable" sticker on it.

I won't bore everyone with details as to why, but my situation demanded a new installation of Vista Home Premium.

Everything went well except that when my laptop is put into Hibernate it lights up spontaneously after several hours.

I scoured the forums here and google around but you haven't found someone else who has had this problem.

Has anyone ever heard talk about this?

    Thank you

    Bill...

Google-ing a little more and I found an answer to this embarrassing problem.

First, a little more in detail about my specific problem and some problem reports I found there in the ether.

When I'm done using my computer I press the power button that is set to put my computer in hibernation.

Some mornings, I'd come downstairs to find my computer with the BIOS Power-On password 'Password' command prompt is displayed.  Other morning my computer not turn on because the battery was empty.

Others have reported their computers would wake up from standby or hibernate on several occasions, some repeatedly and then to go back to sleep.

So what's happening?  It is all linked to timers.

A program can tell Vista wait awhile and then call executable code to an address that offers the program.  This is an example if you use a program like Microsoft's Outlook email client where you can set a task reminder for a later date and time.  Outlook says Vista wait X number of hours, and then run some Outlook code.  This Outlook code then displays your callback.

But what happens if you put your computer in standby or Hibernate?  Well, before Vista you would get your reminder.  Or maybe your anti-virus would not happen.  Or maybe Windows Update would not be executed.  Vista has changed all that.

When Vista goes to sleep or into hibernation, it first checks to see if there are defined timers to turn off.  If there is, it takes the next set clock turns off and affects an alarm in the hardware platform for this day and time.  At the level of the material it is usually an alarm which belongs to the time clock (RTC) real.  Once sets Vista the RTC alarm it will sleep or standby extended.

When the RTC alarm goes off your system lights up.  Vista continues and is notified of the alarm after having exploded.  Vista checks its list of timer and executes the code associated with the timer when turned off.  When the code is actually running Vista go to sleep after two minutes of inactivity.

My problem has been compounded by the fact that I was using the BIOS Power-On Password.  My computer would sit at the prompt "Enter password" until I fell on it or the battery ran down.

What is the solution?  It's pretty simple.  Click Start, all programs, accessories, command prompt.  Run these two commands in the command prompt window:

    powercfg - setdcvalueindex scheme_current sub_sleep bd3b718a-0680-4d9d-8ab2-e1d2b4ac806d 0

    powercfg - setdcvalueindexGUID_mode scheme_current sub_sleep bd3b718a-0680-4d9d-8ab2-e1d2b4ac806d 0

What do these commands?  You change the setting of the attribute "allow windows automatically wake your computer from sleep on a timer for scheduled tasks and other programs ' (which is honestly what it's called!) in the subgroup of the sleep of your current Windows power plan settings.  The first command applies when you are running on electric power and the second when you run on current continuous (drums).  You can re-enable each attribute at any time by re-running the command change the 0 value at the end to 1 (0 = disable, 1 = turn on).

WARNING: If you disable these settings, then your computer will NEVER wake up from sleep or hibernation to perform scheduled tasks.

You can read and learn more about the profiles of power here:

  • Look at OS 3 is my battery elapse more quickly?

I use a Apple Watch for a few months now and with all day use it never gets less than 50 percent. I installed the new OS and today was my first day using it. The afternoon he warned me I hit 10%. I have loaded in the car on the way back, and he went to 44%...and a few hours later I'm at 20%? Sitting on a couch watching TV? Help!

    Howdy Zetetics!

I understand that you are experiencing the life of the battery on your Apple Watch which is less that you normally see. I understand the need for a Apple Watch battery that lasts all day!

In this case, it might be typical to see a lower battery life the first day after an update: the Act of installing an update has a significant energy consumption. In addition, the applications need to synchronize or update after an update.

Did you feel run down battery continues after the announcement of this response?

  • Freezing / sluggish: Logic Pro 9. Mac Pro; Yosemite

As the title suggests, I am experiencing sluggish controls and performance in reading with Logic Pro.  My specs are:

Mac Pro (round) mid-2010; 2.8 GHz Quad Core (Intel); 12 GB OF RAM

    10.10.5 Yosemite

    Logic Pro 9.1.8

Everything is apparently fine with the performance, however, I randomly and almost inevitably experience the app 'snap '.

Never quite completely, it freezes, will get rather unresponsive in functions such as when I'm in the reading, he will just continue to play while any activated button will be delayed for a few seconds until the number of seconds before he answers.  This does not happen with the launch at the beginning of a session and a cool app, but wire time, it will be unless I have close / restart the application.

I recently created a new installation of Yosemite on his own internal drive - using a stock of Apple HD (Western Digital, Black Label, 1 TB, 7200 RPM)

The only thing installed on the OS drive is Logic Pro and a few plug-ins.  I watch performance monitors, nothing appears close to overload (this is both logic and Universal Audio monitors CPU usage).  My sessions are not complicated: consist on average of about 4-5 stereo Audio tracks / track Instrument 1-2 / 2-4 Bus titles.  Plug-ins averaged around 2-4 per track.

I use a writing another drive internal (2 TB) and save the files of session while recording / mixing.  My plan was to spend the end sessions at the coast by car after completing their but I suspect that it is the source of performance problems.

My question is, I'm pretty committed to get an upgrade of RAM max (32 GB for my system).  I hope that this will add enough buffer space to avoid blockages in the performance.

    • It is, 12 GB sound like a stretch to try to run the logic without any problems?

    • Would a 32 GB upgrade be important?

    • Logic Pro (9) have known problems with hang up and becomes unresponsive / slow over a period of time with a running period session continues?

    • Any other use?

    • Is it I better off working on and recording of current session to the local operating system drive rather than another drive?

In fact... I think you will find that much of this is related to graphics performance. Are you running one of the EQS of channel mode Analyzer, medium or hi res? This will certainly lead to delays, even if they are not displayed. Logic 9 graphics routines is quite old and showing their age with newer operating systems. Using a dual monitor system (display)?
