  In our application, we are using JHeadstart 11.1.1.3. Dynamic tabs are enabled by using jhsDynTabContext, bean (class oracle.jheadstart.view.dyntab.DynTabContext.java).
  I'm trying to open a dynamic tab by program and I need to call DynTabContext.getCurrentInstance () to get the context of the tab to open a new tab, but the method returns null. How is it?

  Indeed, my fault, the jhsDynTabContext is stored in viewScope.
  However, another approach could be much simpler to implement.
  JHeadstart is supported by a dynamic tab open of in another dynamic tab using an object with display type groupLink and the 'Show Linked Group In' dynamic 'New Tab' value

  I don't know exactly your use case, but if he really needs to be done by programming, then you can apply the same technique as we do with the Group link:
  -set the name of the taskflow which must be opened in new tab on the successful jhsDynTabLauncher bean (defined in the TF model)
  -move the jhsDynTabLauncher to the parentContext
  -use the result of the "LaunchTab" action, this triggers a parent (also defined in the TF model) action picked up in the taskflow boundless that launches the new tab using the now available in the parentContext jhsDynTabLauncher.

  I have an Application with a TabNavigator component. I dynamically add browser tabs, and I want the new tab to be selected and displayed. I can't find any way to do it programmatically.

  I have attached a small version of my application, but I noticed that when it is run locally, the addTab() method adds a URL parameter for selectedIndex and I think that this may be screwing things up.

  Add a call to validateNow after addChildAt and before you set the selectedIndex property.

• Between the tabs programmatically does not work?

  I am creating my program interface using a mixer tab and then using buttons to navigate by program. However... the buttons don't seem the tabs. Occasionally it will work, but 99% of the time it fails. I have attached a simplified version to illustrate this problem.

  I suspect that this is a bug - running the program with point highlight was working perfectly.

  I've seen similar things in the past, where a tab control does not switch when you use a local variable. With the help of a property node value rather resolved the problem, probably for the reason that Norbert suggested - it forces a new drawing.

  That said, I agree with others that I wouldn't do it like that.

  Just clear the cache of VO and refresh the user interface of the PPR Panel. The re VO - runs the last query automatically. Use this method:

  There's a DoClick method for the TS user interface buttons! Just wire the ref button to invoke node and locate the DoClick method.

  I was wondering how do you choose by program a tab in the example below. For example I want to select the tab kittens at the start instead of having the first tab is selected.

  I can use the kittens.triggered () command, but the graph shows always the first tab selected.

  That is correct, on the Home Page and on blogs and pages of tweets, the interactive report is run by default in the Details view.
  Really simple to do this; Create dynamic Action during the loading of the Page and the real action's Javascript:
  gReport.data.view ('DETAIL');

  I have a page with a panelStretchLayout. The facet of boot has a component in the tree. The Center facet has a component panelTabbed with 2 showDetailItems, each with different panelForms.
  Manually by clicking on the tabs shows the correct content.
  
  The tree has a SelectionListener mapped to a managed bean method. When a node is selected, the bean method sets one of the disclosed showDetailItems.
  There are TRP for the showDetailItems based on the tree.
  This code will cause the current become right tab. The problem is that the content of the tab are not also IF this tab was not previously disclosed.
  
  An example:
  Tree watch departments & employees, the first present the Dept tab selected in the tree, the other presents the employee selected in the tree.
  When the page runs, the Dept tab is disclosed by default because it is the first.
  In the tree, select a Dept. The Dept tab is disclosed and the correct Dept is displayed.
  In the tree, select an EMP. The Emp disclosed but become tab is empty. The shape of the Emp does not appear.
  Select a Department from the tree to reset tabs.
  Now manually click on the employee tab. The forms display properly with the last selected employee Emp from the tree.
  In the tree, select a Dept. Now the Dept tab becomes disclosed but it is empty.
  
  My first thought was that it is a problem of RSP with children of the tab. But I tried to adjust PRR on the panelForms so that they are updated when the showDetailItems are updated. That did not help.
  I also tried setting the rendering and visible properties for the child (form) tab programmatically. No luck.

  Running tab on 5.1.1 that is missing a file browser icon/App (I hope to be able to 'share')

  Background:

  I would add .mp3 files / .jpgs sitting on the externSD to a WhatsApp conversation, but I'm not able to select the files other than through Gallery etc..
  Using free FileExplorer and Total Commander App I am able to copy, move the desired files etc. to almost every location on the tab, even to a connected NAS.

  Suggestions how to either get original file browsr or how to handle the task?

  C Googles Chrome was Installer defasult Webbrowser. Sort of got as good job file navigation...

  I designed a tab page. In the user interface editor I can adjust the height of the Panel including the tab (tabs are on top). How much vertical space is left for the tab of the usable, i.e. excluding the tab panel - worded differently, what is the tab? In the user interface editor, I can play with the tabs at the top and left to estimate the height of the Panel, but can it be determined (a) in a more professional way and (b) by programming?

  Wolfgang,

  You can always get the handle of Panel tab programmatically, using GetPanelHandleFromTabPage, and then call GetPanelAttribute(...,ATR_HEIGHT,...). Then, you can subtract this value from the height of the tab control.

  You may also need to subtract a few pixels for the frame of the Panel, depending on what you use the height of the tab for.

  I use the dynamic model shell user interface. I run tab area containing TF for research of Navigation area. Based on the record we can do different actions including CRUD (assumed that this requirement would be very common).
  1. now based on how action can we change the title to label without refreshing the area inside.
  2 OR how to launch the new tab from within the region and then get back/back to the previous tab, we could do without contextual event or even not at all.

• Some of my modules are then activated when I start up Firefox

  Some of my Add-ons installed fail to launch when I run FF, although they appear active in the Add-ons Manager. They are all up to date and that they work as intended when I turn them off and turn it back on. But that only works for the restartless. If I try to disable and re-enable an add-on that requires a restart of FF then all others fail to launch again. This also affects my session. I use the option to run tabs, windows, and last session when I close FF but it won't work.

  I'm running on Linux Mint 13 Maya xfce4 environment.

  Processor Intel Core i5 - 3230M
  4 GB OF RAM

  Thus, all the other software that I use is up-to-date.

  You can check for problems with preferences.

  Delete a possible user.js file and files numbered prefs-# .js and rename (or delete) the file prefs.js to reset all the prefs by default, including the prefs set via user.js and pref which is no longer supported in the current version of Firefox.

  It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.
