Run two Executive files get signals of a data acquisition

I am a new user of LabView and I try to execute the two files on a computer that gets signals of an acquisition of data (that is, NI USB-6210). However, a single file is working correctly and display the values of signal while the other stops. I couldn't run two of them simultaneously. How can I solve this problem? Please do me advised.

You can not.  You can not have two different tasks running on the same device at the same time.  The second executable probably shows an error of-50103, assuming you have something in there to display errors.

  • How can question I run an executable file in the background?

    Hello

I'm trying to run an executable in the context of LabVIEw, but none of the methods described in the forum and on ni.com seems to work. I use LV 2011 on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine where it is important.

I tried the method described in "How to make an executable in the background as a marketing app?" (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/4A8B626B55B96C248625796000569FA9?opendocument&Submitted&&... but I always see a fragment of a window at the bottom near the start (Exhibit 1) key.) Table 2 shows that it consists only of the title bar. (I customized the appearance of the window as described and added the two points

    HideRootWindow = True

    UseTaskBar = FALSE

    in the *.ini file.)

I also tried to disable all other items in the menu customize appearance of window with the same result.

Then I tried the method described in "Ongoing execution of an executable of LabVIEW as a background process" (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/EFEAE56A94A007D586256EF3006E258B) addition of the FP. Open the VI method and affecting the hidden state. I got the same result (table 1).

Should I do more or different for my version of windows? I appreciate your help. Thank you.

I found the problem. It was a wrong directory for the build name. I continued under an older version of the executable with the default window settings. The method that is described in how to run an executable file in the background as a startup Application? "(Works... http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/4A8B626B55B96C248625796000569FA9?opendocument&Submitted&& .

  • Can not run the executable file by LV7.1

    Hi all

I'm surprised, I can't build and run the executable file LV7.1.

I used to write a few vi with LV7.1 and built the executable according to these vi. It was no problem to build and run this executable file at that time. Now I can open these vi well with LV7.1, bu I can't run this executable file, it will be a mistake, please refer to the attachment. I'm trying to compile an executable file according to a simple vi, and then I can't run this exe file much more.

Can you help me solve this problem? Thank you in advance.

    Evan

    @Christian: this is not correct.

One of the reasons to do this is if LV 7.1.1 is installed, and then you install an application, including the runtime engine built in 7.1. It corrupts the execution engine.

  • Can I use is to view and run several executable files from the same GUI?

I have two executables Labview that performs some IO analog-to-digital, each using an independent USB-6008.  I would like to run both these executables in a single UI.  Is this possible using sub-panels?  Or another method?

No subgroup on the screws still share data space. If you limited the number of instance to a single (this delicate and requires the brain twist) you can use a template in a template, but once again, one instance in each model. If you restruture your code such that the shared sub - VI do not use SR or local storage (as a control not on the connector) you can keep all the specific instance stuff in the model and the PSA to the Sub screws.

  • pulse width of measurement of signals generated by data acquisition

    Finally, I would like to:
Start a counter pulse width measurement and the analog output at the same instant.
Stop the measurement with an external digital signal pulse width.

My current plan is to use a digital output on the acquisition of data to synchronize a digital input and the start-up of the meter input.  The digital input will be a trigger to start for the analog output.  This works, except for the meter.

While trying to implement this, I tried a simple test to generate a digital pulse with the acquisition of data and wiring for counter inputs.  It does not, even if it seems perfect to an oscilloscope.  Then, without changing the software at all, I connect a function generator to my counter entries, and it measures pulse flawless widths.

I'm actually implemented it with a Python wrapper around the C DAQmx API, but I recreated in LabVIEW, and it has the same.  VI attached.  I have the latest drivers DAQmx.

Accidentally, I posted this in a forum for LabVIEW, as I managed to post with the account of a colleague.  I think 2 ups live as this mandate to another post.  I'm sorry.  Former post is http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=389856.

Solution: I had to set the channel to counter with implicit synchronization.  In addition, the sampsPerChanToAcquire must be at least 2, if not, there is an error.  I still don't understand why it worked with a source of external impulse, however.

  • What is the best way to run two concurrent programs using the output of either executing the other?

I wanted to just kind of get a notice of some people here. I have two main screws the first is a data acquisition system that displays 99 different sensors and which feeds on these data in a table. The second is a real-time processing system that is designed to take the painting and do many calculations. The two output data from screw at the front that I want to see, so I don't want to use just as a Subvi.

Is there a simple way to run two screws, using the output of the data acquisition system to power the processor so that you can easily see the signs before two screws? I had thought to simply copy the code from the processor in real-time in the DAQ VI, but I fear that the VI resulting will be very large and unsightly.

On a side note, I'm more thinking about this? I apologize if this is a stupid question, it has been a long week... aaaand it's Wednesday.

Look at the Architecture of producer/consumer.  It will be a good starting point, even if you find that you need to change.  When performing data acquisition and processing of tasks in parallel loops, they can both run simultaneously.  Both can feed data to the main draw of the VI.

I'd probably use three loops with the third being the user interface only.  All that must be displayed to the user is sent to the GUI of the acquisition of data or processing loop loops and commands or entered by users are returned in these loops, probably through queues.  The wall of the VI of data acquisition and processing VI are never displayed to the user.  Especially the treatment, because it runs on a system in real-time, should avoid synchronization issues that can present a graphical interface.

  • LabVIEW FPGA: Not possible to create an executable file that uses the FPGA in Simulation Mode? I get a weird error code

When I try to create an executable from a host VI that has an "Open FPGA VI" reference who has run, the value "Dev computer w / Sim i/o" value, the application is built without error but when I try to run it, it opens with an arrow broken to run and has the following error:

"VI has an error of type 2302200.  The full development of LabVIEW version is necessary to correct mistakes. "In fact, he repeats this message two times in the same window for some reason any.

Moreover, I * have the LabVIEW full development version and I use 2010 SP1

While the error message is not as clear as it could be, you're right: you cannot run an executable file that tries to run an FPGA VI in the simulation.  It would be nice if there was an error in compiling.  I always forget to switch to run on the target FPGA before building my application and discover the error until I have it copied on the system in the laboratory.

  • Executable files and data acquisition Drivers

It is an interesting question that I hope someone can help me with.

My client has little code I need support.  They have a card PCI-1200
    card.
My understanding is the latest driver that works with this card is
    Traditional DAQ 6.9.3.

    They have 6.9.3f3

Then I made the mistake of upgrading their code of 7.1 to 8.5.  The code
    works
on my machine.  When I create an executable file, the executable works on my
    machine;
However, when I try to run the executable file on their computer software
    housing starts
and then stops.  I get no error.  The executable file only
    don't
    run.

I wonder what I should create an executable with the driver
    Version
    6.9.3 on my development machine?

    Thank you

    Dan

    I solved the problem!

I downloaded the 8.5.1 engine LENGTH of Web site of NOR and installed on my target machine.  It worked!

Previously, I copied the execution engine of my Cache on my development computer folder.

  • error 1 when running standalone executable

    Hey everybody,

I'm having some trouble with an app that I'm building in an executable file. Now, it seems that everything is build without errors, but when I go to run the executable file I get a weird 1 error from one of LabVIEW built in libraries. I tried to do remote debugging, but I do not see the error pop up in my code anywhere, so I'm a bit confused as to what is happening.

The error does not collect until after I click on a button that loads a VI in a secondary school (high school even load the correct VI). Also, I don't get any errors when I run the VI in the development environment.

I have attached a picture of what the error said.

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Ryan

Your error message indicates that the error is from the VI who writes in a configuration file and has nothing to do with the sub-panels or the reset of values. You're probably update a configuration file with certain values or something. You show your real code makes it, but if I had hazad a guess I would ask are you aware of this: why my executable not working when using the VI Constant current path?

    Hello

    Method 1:

I suggest you to do a scan of the SFC. File system (CFS) Auditor verifies that all Windows 7 system files are where they should be as they are by default and not corrupted, changed or damaged.

    a. Click Start, click principally made programs, accessories, right-click on command prompt and select run as administrator.

    b. click on continue or provide administrator credentials if prompted.

    c. in the type in the following command prompt window and press ENTER:

    d. sfc/scannow

    e. you should see the following message on the screen:

§ Begin the analysis of the system. This process will take time.

§ Beginning verification phase of system scan.

    f. % verification complete.

    g. once the scan is complete, a test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved or not.
