  Today I had a group in the frontal webcat and gave that group approval issued; previously, he did not, however, today ier had granted to users in the WLS at the AppTesters which has activated the execution available agent button and another change option disabled/grayed out. In addition, I have given permission for individual folders where the application and the ibots were sitting at. Also, I have created a dashboard with content incorporated and plugged into the url of the ibot to be executed as the user is now able to have only the option of the ungreyed enforcement officer and run the agent on request.

• DataStoreItem copy request

  Hi guys,.

  I want to create a backup/copy of a virtual machine that runs in our place of production. The virtual machine (and its files) will be transferred to our DR site where it can be restarted in the case that the primary site becomes unavailable.

  I've had a look around and it seems that the best solution is to create a Powershell script that connects to VCenter the VMware CLI using the "copy-datastoreitem" cmdlet copy the files to the local computer on which runs the PS script or a UNC path available. The files can then be transferred to the location of the DR and the saved virtual machine manually with the VCenter running on the site to provide a failover service.

  The question I have relates to the coherence of the image.

  Do I need to 'cut', 'suspend' or 'snapshot' the virtual machine until I use the command "copy datastoreitem? Is there anything else that I need to know? I saw an article where the chap creates a snapshot before you use the command "copy datastoreitem" and wasn't sure why he did it.

  Useful/tips pointers would be appreciated.

  Make a snapshot creates a recovery point. During the copy operation, the disks of the virtual machine can always be changed. But if you must start the virtual machine at your Dr site, you first the snapshot. Make sure that you start the virtual machine with the discs you had when you created the snapshot.

  After the copy operation, you can remove the snapshot of the virtual machine on the original site.

  I just brought to the top of my sandbox sandbox Windows base Oracle and was able to successfully execute a simple batch file.

  I had to CREATE a TASK external to my test users, but also start the OracleJobScheduler Service which is declining. Of course, this is a very simple test without huge as for safety :-)

  I suggest you try run MGADiag.exe and check.

  Method 2:
  Please follow these steps and check the issue.

  a. Click Start, type cmd in the start search box.

  b. right click on cmd and select run as administrator.

  c. type the following command at the command prompt and press ENTER.

  net stop sppsvc

  (It may ask you if you're sure, select Yes)

  Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, that's ok.

  d. type the following command one by one and press ENTER after each command:

  Rename tokens.bar tokens.dat

• BI Publisher Tor run as a concurrent request of the eBS product a wrong exit Excel

  We have a BI Publisher report that is saved as a concurrent request to eBS (version R12). The report model is a model of .rtf. Default report output is in PDF format, but users can choose Excel in another format of output. The report is properly display all data correctly when the output format is PDF, but when the output is Excel, we have problems with the display of data in certain columns. I did some research and I see that there are known limitations with models rtf producing an Excel output. I tried some of the methods suggested to work around formatting problems, however, I'm not able to solve these problems. I see that it is recommended to use Excel for Excel output binary patterns. How to create a binary schema Excel? I have BI Publisher Desktop version 10.1.3.4 on my PC. I am able to create BI Publisher rtf templates, do I need to create templates Excel, or whatever is needed to produce the output Excel?

  There is a link in 444604.1 that shows you how to use Excel to create binary layouts - these can provide better exits that RTF, but then the output can be in Excel

• Maintenance Essbase and copy requests

  My question is in two parts. We use version 11, ASO Essbase cubes
  
  (1) is allowed to perform maintenance on your cubes while users are part of the system? Why I ask, is that there has been times where changes to do immediately, during the day, when the system is used. If no, what is the optimal environment to make changes (adding an item to a dimension, etc.)
  
  (2) in our monthly maintenance - normally create us a copy of a cube, make changes to the copy, delete the original and copy the backup of the rear
  For example. I have a cube called "REPORTING". I'll make a copy of this and call it "BACKUP". I will then make changes for 'BACKUP '. Once they are completed, I will delete the cube 'REPORTING', then I'll copy the cube "BACKUP" and call it "REPORTING". It allows me to make changes with a minimum of delay to users. However, lately, when copying the cube I get the following error message:
  Could not open the file of the object: E:\Hyperion\products\Essbase\EssbaseServer\app\REPORTING\log\ess00001.dat
  Cannot copy [backup]
  The system will allow me either to copy the backup cube and call REPORTING. It will allow me to copy if I give him another name
  
  Is my continuous copy and remove applications ok? Or will it eventually corrupted databases?

  Hi all

  I need to upgrade our current 11.1.1.2 request HFM to HFM 11.1.2.2.  I'm relatively new to HFM and want to plan the steps necessary to do this.  My questions:

  1 copy the existing application - y at - it a utility app to version 11.1.1.2 copy or can I use the app to copy that comes with 11.1.2.2?

  2. challenges or questions, I should be familiar with the process of copying App?

  3. I guess (looking) that there is a utility to upgrade?

  4. challenges or problems with the upgrade that I need to know?

  The usual steps are:

  1 run the utility to copy request to copy the application the original to the new environment app

  2. run the schema upgrade utility.

  When you configure your new environment, you will use the app to copy to copy the application of HFM of the former base of the new database. The copyapp Wizard to copy data and verification of the data if you wish. Oracle usually offered to download the latest version of mysupport and read the manual to understand all the different options. The schema upgrade utility is a simple tool that allows you to convert your application to 11.1.2.2 and you must make any change.

  Support gave conflicting messages, on the copy of the App and EPMA. 11.1.1.3.28 is a new hfmappcopy which is backward compatible. You must follow the instructions in the 11.1.2 HFM Administrator's guide. It will work, it's just more complicated now. Basically, you need to use LCM to migrate all of the artifacts of the app to the destination application and then use app copy to move data. It works, we did it for 11.1.1.3.

  I use HFM 11.1.2.3 version and trying to copy the application QA HFM in Dev using HFM environment copy utility. I checked that no user not connected to QA HFM application.

  Is - mandatory down services QA to perform the copy of the application to QA environment for Dev Environment?

  I also have another question. Is it possible that I can get the QA application profile to create the same apps in Dev? I did export LCM and I got the application.xpad.xml file. But it is is not clear to me to create the new creation of the application. Please could you suggest any solution to create the new application in Dev as similar to QA.

  Regarding your first question. It is not mandatory, but it is preferable to stop services because in the earlier version, he was known to corrupt the application. In a sense bringing the service just ensures that nobody is able to connect.

  Way the easiest way is to use LCM. All you have to do is go to export Service QA-Shared objects you need and then import it on the Dev reuse LCM.

  With your question, I guess, that you try to migrate a HFM-EPMA of QA dev app. To make sure you get exact copy, you must run the utility to copy of HFM app and even take the export of LCM > EPMA > and import it into the DEV server. This will ensure that you have the data and metadata in place.
