Running a program, other programs.

I need your help, please.

I have the next executable program

public class PB1

implements Runnable

{

//=====================================================

Public Shared Sub main (String Args [])

{

PB1 aplication = new PB1 ();

Thread my_aplication = new Thread (application);

my_aplication. Start (); It runs PB1.run

}

//=====================================================

public void run)

{

System.out.println ("< < < PB1 message > > > \n");

}

}

******************************************************************

I have another program that call to PB1, therefore:

public class PA1

{

Public Shared Sub main (String Args [])

{

System.out.println ("\n < < < of PA1 > > >");

PB1 app = new PB1 ();

Thread my_aplication = new Thread (app);

my_aplication. Start (); run PB1.run

}

}

and the result is

< < < of PA1 > > >

< < < PB1 message > > >

******************************************************************

The problem is that I read the names of a database program

and I program names: "PB1", "PB2', 'PB3', 'PB4",...

can I write my PA1 program to:

public class PA1

{

Public Shared Sub main (String Args [])

{

System.out.println ("\n < < < of PA1 > > >");

try {}

Class <>? app = Class.forName ("PB1");

Thread my_aplication = new Thread (app.getName ());

my_aplication. Start (); not run PB1.run

}

catch (Exception e) {}

System.out.println ("' \n = Exception = =" ");

}

}

}

There's no run PB1. Why?

and the result is:

< < < of PA1 > > >

******************************************************************

can you help me to solve my problem?

Thank you.

When your class implements runnable it menas that instances of class you can be passed as runnables to a Thread. But you try to go to the class itself that may not work.

In your class PA1 you must instantiate an object of your class as described here:

    You should check with the technical support of the mystery about its requirements for network program. Client/server different programs have different requirements. Certainly, you must assign your portable computer a static IP address. If the laptop is not always in the office or available, it is not really the choice the most suitable to host the game server a program. But presumably you know the better your situation and feel that the laptop will work. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Which account you want to use to run this program?

    A week ago, just after installation of Microsoft Update, when I start my computer, a box came who said: run as.  Which account you want to use to run this program? [x] current [of user\Owner] protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity. This option can prevent computer viruses from harming your computer or personal data, BUT selecting it might cause the program to function properly. Current use is already checked, and my options are to check I want is not protected, or cancel. I tried all the options, or just close the box. What is the devil? Why should I see it every time I start my computer? And, more importantly, why would I want to when, "selecting risk the program work correctly?" How can I get rid of this annoying box, since I already have Kaspersky as a guard dog? Thanks, Tess

    No, you are not condemned.

    To make the warning "diagnostic mode" Begone, re - run msconfig and select the radio to "Normal startup" button (cela re - automatically checks the Java update box, as well as all the other boxes you might get UN-ticked).

    The way you described your original message is a bit confusing.  Messages request 'which account you want to use' - what are the choices presented to you?

    Run as.  Which account you want to use to run this program? [x] current [of user\Owner]

    Is the account that you sign normally called "owner"?

    You have an x in the box in front of "Current user" - If the current user IS 'Owner' what does the other box reference?  It may be a better representation of the pop - up:

    Run as
    Which account you want to use to run this program?
    [] Current user / owner
    [] Protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity. This option can prevent computer
    viruses from harming your computer or personal data, BUT selecting it can cause the program to
    work correctly.

    That is, we really give you a choice of the accounts, but only the current account or anything.

    When you go to control panel > user accounts, is the account that you are connected to a "Computer administrator" or "limited account"?

    You need to do some detective work more:

    • In the Startup tab, run msconfig and uncheck ALL items.  If the "RunAs" message does not come to the top, you know that one of these elements is the culprit.  Selectively, double-check items (you can do as a group to save time re-boot) and re-start until you determine what startup item causes the error.  Once you have identified the startup item that is causing the problem, post back with his name and I will try to help you determine what to do about it.
    • The "RunAs" message continues even with all uncontrolled startup items, you going to dig deeper.  Reset things to normal by selecting the option "Normal startup" button and follow the steps.  I'll look at other things that start when Windows starts and see if I can suggest the next steps.
    1. Download Autoruns http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx --> here
    2. Extract the files (right click on the zip file downloaded file and choose "extract all")
    3. Run Autoruns by double clicking on autoruns.exe (not autorunsC.exe).
    4. When the scan is complete, click file > save and save AutoRuns.arn in a place where you can find it later
    5. Download AutoRuns.arn on your SkyDrive (go to https://skydrive.live.com/ and log in with the same name of user and password that allows you to connect to ask questions here)
    6. Right click on the file downloaded and select 'Sharing' then 'Get link' and 'display only '.  Copy the link and post it in your next reply here.  See http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/skydrive/share-file-folder

  • I get a "not an application valid win 32 error" when I try to download and run a program

    Original title: win 32 error

    When I dounload one program and try to run it I get one is not a valid win32 application error. This happens on more than 1 program how to fix this?

    Hello

    ·         What program are you trying to install?

    ·         The program is compatible with Windows XP?

    ·         Since when are you facing this problem?

    ·         What web browser do you use to download a file?

    I suggest to delete temporary internet files from your computer, and then try to download the program, save it in a different location and try to install it from there.

    Get the error: not a valid 32-bit application can have several origins:

    I have listed some of them below.

    The file is corrupted, bad or missing.
    (a) if the hard drive is damaged or hurt it cause work programs to fail, either because not all data can be read from the hard drive the program is damaged on the drive. Run scandisk and defrag on the hard disk to check for potential errors.

    (b) If you are running the program from a shortcut on the computer, verify that the program is still on the computer. In some cases if the program is no longer installed on the computer, you can get this error.

    File is not designed for your version of Windows:

    (a) If you try to run a program that is not designed for your version of Windows, you can get this error.

    (b) Although many old programs designed to work in older versions of Windows will work with new versions of Windows, unfortunately, not all programs will not work.

    (c) if the program is an MS-DOS program more former start program or Windows, you can get this error.

    (d) if the program is designed for a 64-bit version of Windows and you are running in a 32-bit version of Windows, it will not work and generate this error.

    File is a virus, worm or other malicious program file.

    (a)
    this error can be generated by a file that is a virus, worm, Trojan horse or other type of malware file. Often, this will result because the antivirus installed on the computer will not allow the file to install or run. Try to analyze the file to check, it is not a virus or infected.

    (b) if the file has been checked and is clean, it is always possible that the virus protection program or a another program installed on the computer is at the origin of questions during installation or execution of the program. Start the computer in Mode safe and try to run the program. start the computer in Mode safe will be that nothing is running in the background that could cause this problem.

    Hardware incompatibility.

    one) If you get this error during the installation of a program, it is also possible that the CD-ROM drive or the drive that you are installing the program from is not compatible with Windows or drivers that are not compatible with Windows.

    (b) download the latest drivers for your CD player or other of the manufacturer of the computer or the manufacturer of the equipment. (Microsoft does not pilot for other materials)

    Follow these steps and check if that helps:

    Step 1:

    I suggest you to download and run the latest Microsoft security on your computer Scanner and check if it helps:

    Note: the data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.

    Hello

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    Method 1:

    It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.
    I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.
    To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.
    How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

    Reset the computer to start as usual
    When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    Method 2:

    Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

    See the following article in the Microsoft KB for more information on how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

    Hello Ric Buckmiller,

    Thank you for using the Microsoft Windows Vista Forums.

    What specific Windows Vista virus protection software are you talking about?  Windows Vista will be usually comes with Windows Defender.  Windows Defender is software that helps protect your computer against the pop-ups, slow performance and threats caused by the software security spyware and other unwanted software to detect and remove spyware on your computer. Windows Defender Protection features in real time, a monitoring system that recommends actions against spyware when it's detected, minimizes interruptions, and helps you to remain productive.  Yes you can use it with antivirus software.

    Currently, Microsoft has an antivirus software on beta.  http://www.Microsoft.com/security_essentials/support.aspx
    If you have this downloaded, it advised that you can always use another software antivirus at this time.

    Or you are referring to Windows LiveOneCare?  Please let us know status.  Thank you!

    How to uninstall any other antivirus or firewall program?

    Before installing Windows Live OneCare, please make sure that you uninstall completely any existing antivirus or firewall program that may be on your computer.

    This step is very important, no matter what protection software you use, because installing one antivirus or firewall program over another on the same computer could potentially lock up the computer.

    Note: If you do want to keep the ability to reinstall your old antivirus or a firewall program in the future, make sure you have the original product CD (or a backup program disk) before you begin uninstalling.

    Change Data Execution Prevention settings

    Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a security feature that protects against viruses and other security threats by analyzing your programs to make sure that they use the system safely memory.

    If you choose to protect all programs, you can always turn off DEP for individual programs. If you think that a program does not run correctly when DEP is enabled, check for a compatible version of the DEP program or an update from the software publisher before you change your DEP settings.

    1. Click to open the system.

    2. Click Advanced system settings.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    3. Under performance, click settings.

    4. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then click turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.

      To turn off DEP for an individual program

      • Select the check box next to the program that you want to turn off DEP for and then click OK.

        If the program is not in the list, click Add. Navigate to the Program files, search for the executable file of the program (it will have the .exe extension) and then click Open.

      To turn on DEP for an individual program

      • Clear the check box next to the program that you want to turn on DEP for and then click OK.

  • When I try to run the program already installed files (including volume control), the system always ask what program I want to use to run it.

    I recently installed a new antivirus protection software, now at any time, I try to run a program he's asking me what program I want to use to run it, even for already installed programs. For IE, firefox, etc, it's simple, but when I try to adjust the volume of the system through Control Panel he asks me what program I want to use it to run only and I can not. Any ideas how to solve this problem?

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/950505

    You can make the default program using set Associations.
    1. open default programs by clicking the Start button, click default programs.
    2. click on associate a type of file or Protocol with a program.
    3. click on the file type or protocol that you want the program to act as the default value. (In this case it will be for .exe files).
    4. click on the change agenda.
    5. click on the program that you want to use by default for the selected file type, or click the arrow next to other programs to show other programs.
    6. (if you don't see other programs or your program is not listed, click Browse to find the program you want to use, and then click Open. If no other programs are installed that are able to open the type of file or Protocol, your choice will be limited.)
    7. click on OK.

    Hi Colin

    The prompt that asks you to elevate a process with your admin privileges is not designed to be irritating, it is designed to protect you. It's called the component lower privileged user.

    If you have used computers for a few years, you'll remember the Blaster worm, I Love You virus and many other infections viral major that has infected tens of millions of computers around the world and these millions of computers to lose their valuable data. The main reason for that what happened was because everybody ran Windows XP with an unprotected administrator account.

    These malicious files were received in emails, or downloaded to the unsuspecting users computers by something as simple as clicking on a Web link. Strongest antivirus software programs were not able to stop these infections, initially. The first thing that would make these infections would be to take transparent on the administrator account on owners computer access to the entire system.

    In Windows 7, all administrator accounts run as standard users unless the user (or an unknown element) initiates a process that requires administrator privileges and that is when the system will ask you the logged on user for these privileges. This makes the control to the user and allows to approve any elevation of the administrator.

    Many of these same virus writers are always out there infecting older versions of windows and they also use their social engineering skills to convince unwary users that Vista/Windows 7, one click solution is right there to irritate people, and too high a price to pay.

    This is your computer, but only until you beat intentionally integrated security components. It is up to them.

    Edit: If you ignore the UAC prompt for a specific program that you run frequently, the information contained in the link Andre.Ziegler post is a good solution, because this implementation of a program requires administrator privileges. It still runs the program in a secure environment.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you for using Windows 7

  • Get random errors every time I try to run some programs/Installer

    So whenever I try to run something I downloaded for example: microsoft .NET framework, I get the error "could not find the volume of extraction of the file. Make sure you have the appropriate permissions. »
    Then I go and do a right click on this program, click on "add to archive...". "and when I add it to winrar and run through winrar it everything works fine without errors.

    Here is another example when I try to run some other installer I get the same error «Setup could not create the C:\Users directory...» "Error 5: access is denied."

    Or an error like this "runtime error!" "Program C:\... abnormal termination of the program.

    I have tried every thing and nothing worked pls help, it seems that I have some problems with the permissions and I can't get it fixed.

    The only solution is to add the winrar program and run it. But I want to solve this problem completely. Help, please.

    Edit: So I've downloaded again the framework and received the error «You have not enough space...» "and I like 800 GB free in both drives Idk what is happening with this random errors.

    Hello

    Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community and we provide a detailed description of the issue.

    According to the description, I understand that you have the problem with random errors when you try to run certain programs on the system.

    Certainly, I understand your concern and will try my best to help you.

    I would suggest trying the following methods and check if that helps.

    Method 1:

    Try to run the troubleshooter of performance and check if it helps. Please follow the steps outlined in the article below.

    Note: The resolution of performance problems check issues that could slow down the performance of your computer, such as how many users is currently connected to the computer and if multiple programs are running at the same time.

    Open the troubleshooter of Performance

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-performance-Troubleshooter

    If the problem persists, follow method 2

    Method 2:

    I suggest you try to follow the steps in the link given below and check if it helps.

    How to use the tool File Checker system to fix missing or damaged system files, please follow the steps in the link provided below.

    https://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833?WA=wsignin1.0

    Note: System File Checker is a Windows utility that allows users to find corruptions in Windows system files and restore the damaged files. This article describes how run the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checkerto scan your system for files and to repair the system missing or corrupt files in Windows. If a Protection of resources Windows (WRP) file is missing or is damaged, Windows may not behave as expected.

    If the problem persists, follow method 3

    Method 3:

    Run a full scan of the computer with the Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that the computer is virus-free.

    Microsoft, security scanner please follow the steps in the link provided below.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Note: data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.

    In my view, that there is a problem with secure API signatures.  Obviously the 'BluetoothDemo' program is not run after the first steps.  When I debug on Blackberry, I see the following output from the console, which leads me to believe that there is a problem with signatures:

    ocusHistory: Focus lost; Home screen App; Component net.rim.device.apps.internal.ribbon.launcher.RibbonIconField
    FocusHistory: Acquired Focus; Home screen App; Component net.rim.device.api.ui.MediaController

    I was puzzled at first running the program of BluetoothDemo and initially built and generated a file alx for the com_rimbluetoothserialportdemo program, which I think is used by the BluetoothDemo program.  The com_rimbluetoothserialportdemo program is currently connected to Bluetooth tx/rx, as indicated by the status of remaining devices firmly on instead of flashing (when BluetoothDemo runs the status light flashes, indicating no connection). When I switch between workspaces in which I have these projects, the set of keys is not signed, and I have to sign in again, which seems to cause the keys in the other workspace to become not signed.  As further evidence of the strange signature problem, sometimes when I run either on the Blackberry there is an error that says that the application is not signed.

    I want to delete the workspace and the file alx com_rimbluetoothetc could be a step in the right direction.  Do I have reason to assume that the 'no sig 0 x 33' is a problem with API signature secure?  Could BluetoothDemo access to com_rimbluetoothserialport and be denied because there no signatures?  Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Not sure that your reading of the code is correct.

    _dout.writeInt (JUST_OPEN);
    _dout. Flush();

    These two statements will write out - which seems to be the first thing the code does.  Then it goes into a loop of reading, but suppose a specifically formatted data.

    In my test, I removed these and replaced with something that I thought he would be working and I'm depending on the device.  As noted yesterday picked up O the data of a GPS puck - these things just send data, they never expect anything in return.  So my code looks like this:

    byte [] buffer = new byte [1024];
    for (;;) {
        int len = _din.read(buffer);
        String justRead = "Read: " + Integer.toString(len) + " bytes: " + new String(buffer, 0, len) + '\n';
        System.out.println(justRead);
    }

  • Cannot run Windows programming languages 7.

    Hi all

    "I bought a Dell Inspiron R 15" "laptop a few months ago. It had Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit pre-installed with it. A few weeks after working on it, my user profile got corrupted. I contacted Dell customer service. They told me to re - install Windows.

    My main concern starts here. Since I work on the development of software, I need to run applications of programming like Java, VB, .net, c#, C++. I installed windows 7 Home premium, but while trying to install Java or other programming applications, it reflects a message showing "it is not compatible with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I contacted Dell customer again, they told me to install windows 7 ultimate. I managed and tried to install it. I had two tabs display

    Windows 7 86 x architecture

    Architecture of Windows7 64 x

    I clicked on x 86, it installed 32-bit. He created a recovery Partition which is more usable. I can't delete this partition. Now, I can't understand this. Since then, Dell new Inspiron R supports windows 7 64 bit, most of the drivers, materials and functions is not woking in the way on 32-bit. Also, I have to run my programming languages.

    Is it possible to run my Antenna on Windows 7 Home premium applications so that, I'd be able to run my other hardware, drivers, and the functions of the keyboard?

    Your development tools are compatible it seems that with a 32-bit Windows operating system. My recommendation would be to call Dell and ask for a recovery disk Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit set for your model Dell computer. To do this, they could practice small shipping and handling. Releasing it's easy: with Windows | ActiveWin | Laptops | Microsoft MVP
