RV042 binding protocol SIP and RTP (VoIP)

Hello everyone,

I have a RV042 with a DSL (WAN1) and cable internet connection (WAN2) in load balancing Mode. The DSL provider also provides the internet phone when registered via its line. When I turn off the WAN2 port, my IP phone properly registered with the server of the provider of DSL registration. I also defined bindings Protocol (port 5060) SIP and RTP (5004 to 5020 ports) to be associated with WAN1. My IP phone is configured to listen on those ports.

The rules are in detail:

SIP(UDP/5060~5060)-> 'myPhoneIP' ~ "myPhoneIP" ('RegistrationServerP' ~ 'RegistrationServerIP') [active] WAN1

SIP(UDP/5060~5060)-> 'RegistrationServerIP' ~ "RegistrationServerIP" ('myPhoneIP' ~ 'myPhoneIP') [active] WAN1

RTP(UDP/5004~5020)-> 'myPhoneIP' ~ "myPhoneIP" ('RegistrationServerP' ~ 'RegistrationServerIP') [active] WAN1

RTP(UDP/5004~5020)-> 'RegistrationServerIP' ~ "RegistrationServerIP" ('myPhoneIP' ~ 'myPhoneIP') [active] WAN1

With these protocol bindings in place when I reactivate WAN2, then after a while the phone shows "failed to save".

I put something else outside the protocol binding to force the VoIP traffic to go via WAN1?

Thanks for your help

Felix

Congratulations! And I certainly intend to. Enjoy your day as well.

  • Binding protocol.

    I have set up the binding protocol that I need a part of traffic to stay on a (smtp) connection specific. I did this and seems to work very well, but you have to link explicitly all other services not specified for each interface or they will automatically select one of the available interfaces. Weighted balancing is selected.

    He will choose automatically.

    I also would create an outgoing SMTP to to rule from your server, then another rule of outgoing traffic underneath blocking SMTP to any LAN IP.

    This way if a PC is infected, it cannot send outgoing mail.

  • WRT54G and SPA2102 - VoIP problems

    Hi all

    I have a Linksys WRT54G, connected to the Internet and the following ports are enabled:

    5060-5061 SIP

    RIP 16384-16483

    There is only one connected to the WRT54G Linksys SPA2102.  The SPA2102 Internet routes (for example there is a computer connected to its Ethernet port) but VoIP does not work well.

    Can someone offer some assistance with this configuration.  Please tell us if additional information is required.

    Thank you.

    Hi Pandelicioso,

    It is sufficient to indicate the complete error message you receive.

    IP (Internet Protocol) link problems are usually caused by an out-of-date network adapter driver

    Method 1: to reset the stack TCP/IP go to this article and either click on "Fix it for me" or follow the instructions to fix it yourself:

    Method 2:  Follow the steps mentioned in the link below

  • Router RV042 firmware Upgrade older and what is the Version 1, 2, 3

    We have a CISCO RV042.  We are about to begin a service IOPV with Joseph who declare:

    The RV042 is a wired router that requires no adjustment configuration for versions of firmware, that we tested.    NOTE: The Version 1 and 2 are compatible. Version 3 is NOT.  Revised firmware: 1.3.12.6 | 1.3.12.19

    Our router firmware is: 1.3.8.2 (February 12, 2007 10:43:08)

    We can upgrade to 1.3.12.6 or 1.3.12.19?  What is Version 1, 2 and 3?

    Hi David, V1 2 and 3 are the versions of the released router hardware. The best, I can say that the 1.3.13.02 is the last for routers V01.

  • With SRP547W and SPA303 VoIP phones

    Hello

    I have a SRP547W hung with the standard desktop phones connected via phone ports on the back of the device using 2 lines as well as the RTC SIP using the hash first of all that the router in the office. We just added a new Member of staff and bought a SPA303 in order to connect the SIP registered on the SRP547W lines, and I hope to have the opportunity to use the PSTN line when the SIP lines are busy.

    The problem is, it connects to VLAN100 and gets its IP address and initializes very well however no line will only show configured and it cannot make or receive calls. I need to configure on the SPA303 tell him to use the SRP547W as its SIP Server/Proxy (not sure of the terminology).

    Kind regards

    Gerard...

    SRP500 routers do not include a SIP proxy function or at the office, but are rather SIP user agents who register with an external proxy.  Your only real options here are to get a third SIP for the SPA303 service, or install a small PBX IP locally that uses the SIP trunks for connectivity to the PSTN and has the SPA303 and SRP500 ports registered as endpoints.

    See you soon,.

    Dave.

  • RV042 open ports 80 and 443 to Shields UP! When using QuickVPN

    Is it possible to use QuickVPN with the RV042 without leaving ports 80 and 443 open to Shields UP great! scans?  As a solution, I'm pass these ports to a non-existent IP address and forcing QuickVPN to use 60443 port.  Yes, 60443 watch also opened too if I scan it, but at least it is not in the ports first 1056.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Router Linksys brand is using the latest firmware for this material (1.3.13.02 - tm)

    Tim,

    As shields up is a very good tool to run inside your network to get an idea on what ports are open. It is best to run the scan of a computer that is not behind your network. I use nmap http://nmap.org/ and scan my network from the outside to get a better idea on which ports will show open. Since Shields up is running on your computer, it will display the results based on your computers as firewall. Yes Qvpn requires 443 or 60443 to be tuned by the router to establish a connection.

  • Oracle SOA Suite - mediator for Protocol switching and limitation of

    Hello

    I tried to get the exact answer on the internet and also in the Oracle Doc, but in the oracle doc also what is written "Compatible transport protocols, including e-mail, FTP, HTTP (S), file and JMS" but the full list of supporting the Protocol do not receive even for Ombudsman in SOA Suite also.

    can someone please respond to these requests.

    Q1. Mediator dose provide Message even as OSB dose limitation?

    Q2. Mediator dose allow protocol for example SOAP at the REST or JMS with MQ etc even as OSB?

    or mediator provide switching protocol but have limited options for Protocol against the OSB (OSB stand verity of the Protocol)

    Q3. Please tell me what protocol are supported by the Ombudsman and which are supported by OSB

    Thank you

    Customer reviews...

    Q1. Ombudsman dose provide Message even as the OSB dose limitation?

    -No, the mediator has Message limiting feature compared to the OSB.

    Q2. Ombudsman dose allow protocol for example SOAP at the REST or JMS with MQ etc even as the BSO?

    or mediator provide switching protocol but have limited options for Protocol against the OSB (OSB stand verity of the Protocol)

    -The mediator is a component on SOA. Here you are talking about the whole flow which allows to convert, say, a SOAP for a REST request. This can be achieved through "Service SOAP-> mediator-> REST reference" in a composite on SOA. Ombudsman is not necessary to have this ability, because this functionality is provided as part of basic infrastructure in the suite of SOA.

    Q3. Please tell me what protocol are supported by the Ombudsman and which are supported by OSB

    -Again, it is more SOA infrastructure that provides the Protocol for inbound and outbound scenarios support. More SOA supports bindings of SOAP, REST, FTP, LDAP etc. If you can say to your specific requirement then I can provide more detailed information.

    Kind regards

  • Bind the calendar and Contacts

    I am trying to replace my Palm PDA with the Droid. The Palm would allow me to add something to my calendar and then view a list of Contacts to add a contact to the calendar. For example, I would open my calendar for Dec 18 and select a time for example from 15:30. I enter "Jim" - and then go to the Contacts list. Here I would choose Dr. Kennedy and the 'Dr Kennedy 864-555-1234' would be added after the "Jim" - entry. Is it possible to do this with the Droid"Tnanks beforehand. Jim

    I'll put that the way the most positive spin doctor that I can.   There is room for improvement.

    I don't think it's there yet.

  • Active and re-Binder between desktop and portable

    I use my desktop pc as my main location for Muse, but when I travel I use a laptop. My files are stored in the cloud creative (and saved elsewhere). Whenever I'm away and using my laptop, Muse wants me to re-edit all the assets, because it says they are missing (sometimes in large numbers, 100 +). Why should I connect when files are accessed from the same place? Also, should I really be reprinted when the goods are not change or be replaced? I'm simply add on the Web site, not to change the locations of the files.

    We have to connect these 'missing' active to perform updates on my Muse site and publish? I don't want to learn the hard way and have my site completely messed up, if I decide not to spend a lot of time re connecting active hundreds.

    Thanks for any help or understand why this happens.

    p.s. I tried to use a portable hard drive and use between the two machines, however, it does the same thing.

    Thank you!

    Why always re-release of links? Muse stores the images in web size optimized within the .muse file. You have not need be reprinted, if you have not changed the original file. Similarly, if you your ftp site, and the original files are missing, restoring links is not necessary.

  • Binder/sync Audio and video

    I think I'm right on the right edge if this can work:

    I have a rough cut of a few clips using audio on the device. I also recorded with a separate audio recorder. I want to sort a secondary audio link to the primary audio and video clips from the source, so that the secondary audio will be added for the first mounting without having me to go and re - synchronize each change with the corresponding secondary audio. Is it possible to sync the audio added in a source file and have a reflection in an edited sequence?

    Aligning each camera with audio clip associated with its own sequence, then changing using these sequences rather than the original clips is one of the best ways to proceed in the light of your starting point.

    Audio drift should not be apparent on reasonable periods of clip (for example, up to 10 or 20 minutes) depending on the stability of the clock in the audio device.  Many reports were due some manufacturers using audio rates slightly non-standard who first then supposed to be correct and therefore generated out-of-sync issues for about 30 minutes or more.  Not your problem here.

    If, when you check the sync audio on a full clip, you know it's OK at first but in the end, then setting a marker for both video and audio at the end and using the rate stretch on the audio to change its length by a small amount to align the markers should give good enough sync for the clip.

  • binding of events and get accessor function

    I found this snippet, when I was walking in a Flex3.6 project:

                    [Bindable(event='currentPageChanged')]
              public function get currentPage ():int {
                   return this._currentPage;
              }

              protected function set _currentPage (value:int):void {
                   if (this._currentPage == value){
                        return;
                   }
                   this.__currentPage = value;
                   this.dispatchEvent(new Event(BookEvent.CURRENTPAGE_CHANGED));
              }

              protected function get _currentPage ():int {
                   return this.__currentPage;
              }

    What is it meant to do by declaring an event that can be bound above the getter function immediately?

    Thank you very much.

    Here's the documentation:

    http://livedocs.Adobe.com/Flex/3/HTML/Help.HTML?content=databinding_1.html#110674

    If you omit Bindable in Flex - change of ownership will not by the application.

    Apart from Flex, it makes no difference for him is not used in any case.

  • SX20 via profile sure MRA

    Hello

    It is necessary to have first registered in Callmanager with secure profile SX20 before before moving out with ARM?

    Secure profiles are only needed if you use mixed mode and so want a secure communication when you use MRA, if this isn't the case, you will only secure the communication between the endpont and EXP-E, and internally, it will just SIP and RTP.
