  And port 443 is the same as 80, but it is a secure version, for all sites where security is a problem, for example when connected to hotmail, Bank, paypal or many other sites where you sign in.

  I want to configure an Apache Server on a Linux virtual machine (using the last VirtualBox) on my Mac running El Capitan 10.11.3.

  5.0.15 server is already running on the Mac (and I want to keep it, with the exception of web services). I have disabled the sharing in the web server user interface, but it was not enough, Apache listening ports 80 and 443, prohibiting VirtualBox to listen to them and transmits them to the Linux virtual machine.

  So I put comment out these lines in /Library/Server/Web/Config/Proxy/apache_serviceproxy.conf:

  After a restart, Apache seems not to listen to ports 80 and 443 more. However, VirtualBox does not become the listener. I tried this command in the Mac terminal:

  -i sudo lsof: 80

  and nothing has been returned, suggesting that something in OS X still prevents VirtualBox to listen to ports 80 and 443. If I try to convey some random host port of Mac to port 80 in the virtual machine, then I can my virtualized server access from Safari on the Mac host via the custom port said. But I would use the standard port 80.

  Instead of commenting, assign a specific IP for the server listen instead of * (which means that all the IP addresses). This is only to the server on port 80 and 443 in this config file. I sometimes give an additional IP address to the Ether. Your Linux Machine can connect to the second IP address or the first initial assigned to your server depending on your configuration.

  Server is very aggressive in it's use ports, he leaves so all services to operate, even if you have the use of ports to other IP addresses.

  Which firewall do you use?  If the built-in Windows Firewall, open the Security Center in Control Panel and select the Windows Firewall applet.  Select the Exceptions tab, and then click Add Port.  Specify your port.  Use the button change the scope to restrict the port to the correct network or IP addresses is not wide open to the Internet (unless that's what you need). When I activate the port forwarding on my local server (ports 80 and 443), after a while I completely lose internet connection on all my computers connected to the router (wifi and lan computers). The router itself can ping and trace any Internet site through diagnostics to Web administration. When I turn off and click on save changes button, my internet connection works immediately again. I have the latest firmware installed and I tried to reset the router several times and set it manually since the beginning.

  I solved it. There was a problem with the combination of the service 'DHCP Reservation"of the router and client DHCP of Ubuntu. I disabled "Booking DHCP" and set the IP settings manually in the Ubuntu computer and now it works perfectly

I tried msconfig but can't find it. It is very annoying as Margot does not use it and need to close whenever it connects. I tried everything to stop it in the help files.

• Cannot close the ports 21 and 443 on router r7000

  my router from r7000 nighthawk is currently running firmware v1.0.6.28_1.1.83 and I'm comcerned with security of my network from ports 21 (ftp) and 443 (https) are both always open to exploits. These results, to which I refer are scan utility shield of gibson research online.

  I closed port forwarding in the router nothing works management. and it's only the first ports scanned 1056.

  Unit rebooted and wah - lah... port 21 (FTP) is closed to shields up port scanner.

  Welcome to the community,

  just a quick question. Why do you have ant / need to change ports on ESX host? The ESX host and the virtual machine to each use their own IP address, so there should not be any conflict of port with a virtualized Exchange Server.

  I have intermittent problems with my wireless internet connection. I contacted the ISP and they analyzed the configuration of the modem-router, changed some and told me to try to reconnect. I try again and the connection is OK. The ISP has caress each other on the back and sent me on my merry way not-so-small. Problem is at an unpredictable time, problems (do) happen.

  It is not clear what parameters your ISP technology management may have changed on your modem/router.  As a general rule, the ISP concerned the link between their server and your modem, but any fiddling with settings that control this link will not effect either on the link between your computer and the modem/router.

  If you still haven't reset your router to its default settings, do not unless you know the necessary internal router settings for you connect to your ISP.  If you have a cable Internet connection, the default settings may work OK, but if you have a DSL, they probably won't.

  You should not get this "IP address conflict" error when you connect the Ethernet cable.  Follow these steps:

  Open the "network and sharing Center" and then click on "change adapter settings".  You should see an icon for your wireless network adapter and an icon for your 'connection to the Local network' (your Ethernet connection).

  • Right click on each of the icons, and select 'properties '.
  • There should be a list titled "this connection uses the following items."  In this list, select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP)" and then click "Properties".
  • The radio buttons to "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically" should both selected.  If this is NOT the case, do so and OK your way out.  Furthermore, cancel your way.

  If a card has been configured to use a specific IP address, your "IP address conflict" should now be fixed (you may need to restart the computer for the change to take effect).

  If cards were already configured to obtain its IP address automatically, the problem lies in the configuration of your router.  You will need to access the router's Web utility to study and make changes.  To help you provide the brand and model of the router of the label on the back or the bottom.  Also do the following to a time where you have an Internet connection:

  Open a command prompt window (type cmd in the search box and press enter)

  1. In the black command prompt window, type the following command, and press ENTER after each line

  I'm glad to hear that your ports are now displayed in MAX. And I think it is a good idea to use the outputs analog on the myRIO. As long as you know the needs of the motor controller to order the right moves tension and a control loop in place, you should be good to go.

  I am able to solve the problem by setting the file name in the header respose.  According to the forums IE11, security levels are enhannced in it, and they expect the header contains the information of the file.

  Add this line, file name with extension

  response.setHeader ("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename = "+ file name)."

  After you add it, the file name is displayed correctly and 'opens' option is available in the dialog box.

  Spent in IMAP and ended up with two inboxes (w8dn & weightdn @...). Switched to records unified to get all emails in one place. I get emails from many of many email lists if you need to create folders and filter emails in the appropriate folder. I can make this as set up or will it return to the POP server?

  Yes. Local folders account is provided by Thunderbird for just this purpose; a generalized situation of storage independent of the account. The filter is located under Tools | Message filters. Right click on the sender in a message header will also create a filter.

  With Thunderbird, you by default will have a separate set of folders for each account. This way gives you the opportunity to keep separate accounts (some users require) and you can also use the saved searches, Unified files and local files to merge accounts (other users require too!)

  I just moved a set of applications on a new server running Oracle 12 c and APEX 4.2.6.00.03, applications where initially on Oracle 10 G database with APEX 3.2.

  When you access via IE 11 users receive the error message after, when it appears that the only way to clear it is to close IE and reopen the application.

  

  There is an application that uses a database to MYSQL link, but the error when you use applications that do not use the link, so I'm not sure how to solve the problem.

  The error does not appear when you access applications through Chrome, but not all users have installed chrome.

  On the installation of google earth, Windows Firewall has blocked some features of the program.  Then it asks me if I want to unblock this program.  It offers assistance to understand the risks if you unblock.  But the answers speak "what happens if you open a port" and he speaks of "create an exception or open a port.   But it does not mention what happens if I select "unblock this program."  Like is it the same as opening a port?  or unlock open all ports?   or what?

  No explanation of any person who knows how to keep consistent terminology (other than MS Windows 'staff') will be appreciated.

  If you select unlock Google earth creates two inbound firewall rules.
  The two rules are called Google Earth
  Both allow to program C:\program files\google\google earth\client\googleearth.exe
  Both allow to any port and an address
  A rule is used in TCP protocol
  The other rule allow the UDP protocol
