  It would be absolutely perfect if the RX100 was better exposure auto bracketing system, that allows to make more than 3 exposures (5 or 7 would be good) at intervals between each shot EV 2 or 3 EV.

• Disk utility finds several files and folders after formatting external hard drive

  It is somewhat an Enigma to me. I bought an external hard drive that I wanted to use to store my Time Machine backups. I formatted in Mac OS extended (journaled case-sensitive) without any problems, however, I noticed that disk utility indicated that I had 18 and 59 files (space used = 448,1 Mb)!  I ejected the disc, it reconnected and utility found 64-19 records to disc now! How is that possible? What is going on?  I used the 'diskutil list' command on the Terminal, and I found the following:

  / dev/disk2

  #: NAME SIZE TYPE IDENTIFIER

  0: GUID_partition_scheme * GB 500,1 disk2

  1: disk2s1 EFI EFI 209.7 MB

  2: Apple_HFS disk2s2 backup 499,8 Gb

  I see there are 2 partitions, even if I made a partition during formatting of the drive.  I don't know if this 'normal' or if I'm doing something wrong. I would be very happy any help you can give! Thank you very much!

We do answer questions on drivers, products and assistance with products that have already been made public and cannot provide a response to future events, or we can provide a guess when or if the firmware updates will be executed for a particular product.

  The camera Sony DSC-RX100 is compatible with 1080 60 p or 50 p format movies. Unlike most compact cameras, the DSC-RX100 records high definition videos using a progressive approach instead of interleaving method. This increases the resolution and provides a smoother, more realistic image.

  Sony makes updates firmware for their cameras ie; RX100 m1/2/3, like to know before you buy one. Many sites seem to believe that it is rare that their cameras updated firmware. Cheers in advance

  These statistics show that some queries running on your database are not able to use the required level of parallelism - that's all. Since you have PARALLEL_MAX_SERVERS = 8, this means that even a single session executes a query with DOP > 8 (or 4 > in the case of redistribution of data) is inevitably to be decommissioned. It is bad or not and if it requires a few changes to the DB settings or not, depends only on your queries and how well their execution times are right now and you need some improvements or not.

• Request for Firmware RX100

  (1) problems with play button accidentally pressed while the camera is in my pocket. This causes the lens to extend, possibly damage camera. Maybe this can be fixed with firmware.
  (2) jpg mode settings cannot be applied in Raw + jpg mode. For example, in raw + jpg mode, I can't take advantage of the effects of image, HDR and other features. Of course, it cannot be applied to the raw file, but why not the jpg? Add this a feature would improve the potential camera by a long shot. The JPEG in this mode would be also better if lacking 20Meg.
  (3) provide an option to use the? as 2nd button function Fn key. As it is, the? the button does very little for the operations of the camera.

• RX100 iii lights not after a firmware update error

  I did a firmware update on my new camera and there was an error during the installation of the new firmware, after that he had already reset the old firmware. Now, the camera will have only the green light but the screen is still black. What should I do?

• Problem with firmware 1.0.04)is WRT120N

  I recently bought a WRT120n and had run a few days without any problem. After updating the firmware today to 1.0.04)is, my internet connection would be extremely slow or time out in queries ping to all sites at random. Whenever I reboot the router, my net would be a few seconds to a few minutes. When I check my internet connection status, it shows that I am connected. I have already tried to restore to the factory settings, reset the router for 35 seconds and tinker around with the MTU. I am currently using a different router and everything works perfectly. Is there anyway I can restore my firmware for v1.0.01 (my firmware dwefault) or should I RMA it?

• Distortion of serious purpose RX100 M3

  There is distortion cushion important 24 mm lens, which is a serious problem during architectural photography. In my view, that there is an app lens correction for other Sony devices. How can I do for suggesting that Sony make a version of this app for the M3 RX100?

  Or could it be corrected by the firmware? It can be corrected in Photoshop, but it's quite tedious.

  Regarding the distortation, I think it's just the unfortunate wos from the camera - so I guess there should be a function to correct this in camera (via JPEG)

  The symptoms are typical of a Gen 4 TC... so thanks for putting this info in your profile.

  The new firmware is not the problem... However, the drop of water that makes the vase overflow. Your TC underwent a total failure due to bad soldering... the attempt of the update was this slight element of stress which caused the catastrophic failure.

  If you are a handyman, there is a fix... It of free... and set up to present enough to say that I am fairly confident with your symptoms, it will fix it.

• Resound LiNX2 Firmware 961

  I will get my first pair of hearing aids,² 961 LiNX RIE, 20 Sept. Pending this installation, I did my homework, including by participating in these forums of Apple on this topic.  Firmware seems to be a recurring topic here I'm worried.

  It seems that there is always a period to shake, with a lot of messages on the Bluetooth connectivity issues with updates of firmware sometimes correcting a problem.  While only cautiously optimistic, I want to be proactive in avoiding problems for my first experience of hearing aid in getting firmware updates as quickly as possible. Who needs to address my concern that, with regularly updated iOS updated to Apple (the last being downloaded 9.3.5 recently), connectivity can glitch again until an updated required corresponding firmware applies to my hearing aid (or vice versa).

  I don't expect my audiologist to warn me when a new firmware is available.  I also searched sounding site and do not see the links to all the pages that show the current version of the firmware, or all the instructions telling me how to check if my hearing aids have this latest version of the firmware.  (Yes, I will ask my audiologist which version I get in the original timeline.)

  I look forward to the improvements to the web site and possible Smart app where it just would not confirm if my hearing aids are up to date, but it is also possible to download and apply updates firmware for hearing aids via the Bluetooth connection, rather than an appointment to audiologist.  In the meantime, I'm looking for a way to get automatically notified (perhaps a list of electronic distribution to consumers and professionals) when firmware updates are ready to apply, with confirmation what version of iOS is required for compatibility with this firmware.

  This looks like a "problem of sound" - they will be able to tell you how to check the firmware version, how to use their app and if they support the user after the updated and changes or additions to their software.

  I suggest you seek their support site, forums, or use their contact information as a last resort. They know more about all the things you want instead of Apple users who help out here.

  In regard to updates to iOS, look in "" settings > iTunes and app store ", uncheck"Updates"to stop the automatic updates of operating system." You can do the same for apps if you want to really too much manual control over them. You should read the release notes and comments to work if the updates will change anything that you depend on.

  P.S., wait and see if others can help here too
