• Hard drive and memory for Lenovo idea Pad S10

  I have a Lenovo idea Pad S10 and I love it.  Its a great little machine.  I would like to make one or two questions please.  Can on put a larger hard drive and how much memory is the maximum.  I currently have 2 GB of memory.

  Also, I tried to do my income tax using it - I uses Taxcut and tried to install it on and the machine said he couldn't make Taxcut.  I suppose that the system is not big enough to cope.  If true that I very well because I have a desktop computer, but I was just wondering if we can get a bigger hard drive and if it would make a difference.

  Memory 2 GB is the maximum... 500 GB HARD drive no problem... and at least

• Lightroom CC (version 2015.2.1) constant suspended

  I am currently trying to edit some pictures, but Lightroom is constantly hanging or crashing in the dark for 10-15 seconds before recovering. It happens every 2nd or third attempt to make a change and sitting here writing this happens every 30 seconds while it sits on the Lightroom screen on the Help menu. It does not seem to be a technical problem, watch Manager tasks, the CPU, memory and disk are difficult to be affected (compare the two screenshots below). I also tried to disable the GPU acceleration, but that has not changed anything.

  Anyone has any ideas on what could cause this problem?

• Idea Pad Y460P WiFi

  So I typed a good post and clicked on the post, and it happens with no text. Large. This time I'll type a shorter message.

  I bought a Y460P. I tried to upgrade the Intel 1000 wifi with an Intel 6200 card. I got the error BIOS is not a supported adapter. I found that you need to get special cards because of the whitelist of the BIOS. I found a nice chart someone had posted here for Y560P. What I would like, it is a place to buy compatible parts on the lenovo site, or a place where I can look this information for my Y460P. It is very nice that someone can put a chart in the thread for me, but I would like to be able to find information on the support site for myself, like in a service manual or something.

  This is not possible because it is like by designed. If customers want to use a different wlan on a laptop card, therefore at their own risk for flashing their bios with a production instead of the official version.

• Why can I not hear a voice on my laptop?

  I hear no song when I use my laptop. It runs Windows XP.
  All of a sudden my sound is really messed up, I get this weird feedback who resembles outsiders trying to communicate to me.
  If I go on YouTube to listen to the music, the instruments are watered out and I can't even hear the voice. I tried WMP, I tried to restart, I tried to reboot in safe mode, I'd like an answer that probably does not require restart...

  I searched the internet for an answer for ever, and I can't find one. I even tried to use every possible parameter with RealTek, tried changing the settings in the Panel, tried to do a system restore and even went to get my checked disk. I said that my drive is fine, and the system restore did nothing.

  My laptop is a Lenovo S10 idea Pad.

  I suggest you to uninstall the sound drivers of your computer manually and then reinstall the drivers and check.

  (Select the RealTek Audio drivers from the list)

  Restart the computer once the uninstall is complete.
   
  Download the Audio drivers from the following link for Windows XP and install the same.

  Right click on the Setup file > properties > comparability tab > check "run this program in comparability mode for" > select windows xp (service pack 3) > apply and ok > re-run the Setup file.

  After just a migration of Hyper-V to ESXi 4 free on the last 4 days, I was very shocked when I restarted ESXi and found that instead of gracefully to suspend my VM, it just hard to stop them. I'm quite surprised that they are not automatically suspended.

  You need to configure.

  On ESX, choose Configuration / Machine virtual StartupShutdown

  Then activate the feature and configure it to suspend or stop comments.

• Major issue after installed Windows 10 own attempt Y500

  Idea pad Y500. 1 TB hd with 25 GB SSD. I upgraded from Windows 8.1 for Windows 10 yesterday. It went well, but I wanted a clean install. I found my new Windows key in case I needed it. He got 16 percent and has grown steadily for 12 hours. So I did a hard reboot, it asked if I wanted to continue 10 Windows, I said yes, then he attempted to restart.   I was able to remedy. Windows loaded ten from another computer on a flash drive. Tried all the options load Windows ten Setup/BIOS and none of them would work. Said that my discs were badly formatted. Finally, I disconnected the flash player and magically it started with a new copy of Windows 8. I have redownloaded Windows 10 and loaded, now it works perfectly.
