  Hi all. Have had my new BB's "BOLD" for a week now (been a curve). Every time I Sync BB to the PC, my image of the homescreen on calendar/message alert tones, ringtones and the BB are all reset to their default settings. Im running windows XP with Outlook 2003 Professional and have BB desktop version 4.6.0.12. And synchronization using the USB cable. I have a memory card of 2 GB on BB with Mode mass storage activated when connected and Media Card Support turned on. I'm doing something wrong? Or is there a flaw with BB or software?

• Windows Live Mail is STUCK with its default settings.

  I was on a Web page and that you wanted to contact the owner of the Web site. He had posted email address, but when I click on it I got a message saying
  "Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed."  So since I just put this computer back to factory default settings and have no other programs installed, I went on the Start button > Control Panel > default programs > set your default programs > and then finally clicked on Windows Live Mail.   To specify Windows Live Mail as the default mail client, select it in the section Custom define the default settings for the access and the computer program in default programs. Then Windows will know which program to launch when he needs an e-mail client.

  I have a 1 year old factor refurbished EOS 7 d, I use exclusively for that I generally shoot at 24 fps video recording...

  Recently (ON ALL MODES of shooting), it automatically returns to stop a minute and 30 frames per second. (he may return other default settings, but nothing that effects my shooting or that I noticed.)

  Whenever I turn it on, I have to reset the fps and the downtime (OFF or 30 minutes, or other) - but then the next time that I turn it on, it has reverted to stop a minute and 30 frames per second.

  Given you've done everything right and this continuous thing to lose his mind... the only thing I can think is that your clock battery is dead.   If you haven't already done so, try to replace a new battery and see if the problem persists.

• Deselection of voice on improvement in Inspector restores the default settings.

  Voice more improvement is a combo of compressor, deEsser, and EQ sound effect. I changed the settings, but when I deselected the effect in Inspector (clicked on the little blue box) to ignore the settings then changed the effect... all the settings changed back to their default values (except for the 'Quantity' slider). This isn't how it's working. Deselection of effect should work as a derivation not a reset. If someone else can confirm this?

  This happens even to the VOE effect when saving file > save Audio effects presets, inserted on clip, unchecked then reselected in the Inspector.

  He has no control in Vista to make the changes you want to make for Vista itself.  David has provided default values for Windows 2000 and Windows XP, but not for Vista.  I can't find them for Vista- but they are what you feel and are entered into the system without installation available control to modify the default values (and I couldn't even find a way to do it with a registry hack).  Unfortunately, he must live with what you have.

  In most other cases program, it is controlled by the program itself (and varies according to the program0.  Some of these programs have commands to adjust the default settings (again, this depends on the program).  You will have to search for the documentation of the program or visit their web site (or call them for technical assistance) for more information on each program.

  I don't know. Best thing to do is to click on the effect in the appearance Panel, and then change the numbers 75% &.07 inches.

  I really recommend to avoid using an inner glow altogether. You have more control and creative options by adding a line and a Gaussian blur and using the appearance Panel. You also does not slow down your computer like by stacking of multiple instances of internal flow for example a brighter glow.

  If you still wish to continue to use the inner glow, you can make a few graphic styles and add to your library to quickly switch your inner glow settings.

So now I see my g-mail Inbox in tiny little characters. I tried to use the Magnifier suggested in the troubleshooting of support page, but it's too heavy so I gave up.

  If the zoom is your problem so just try to use the keyboard.
  Hold down the control (Ctrl) key + "+" to zoom in any window.
  Otherwise if the crash occurs suddenly so just try to uninstall and reinstall Firefox with the update. You brought a lot of changes manually, it might create problem. So reinstall once and check whether it is at your service.

  I have a mid 2013 13 - inch MacBook Air with OS X 10.11.5. I regularly use the Apple Mail as my default email without any problem client. I also use Safari as my browser main opening only Chrome sometimes when I have a problem with a particular Web site. I have my email of company through Mail and use gmail on Safari for my personal e-mail. I worked this way for years. Suddenly in the last two weeks, if I click on an email link in Mail it opens in Chrome. I'm in Mail preferences and default mail software is Google Chrome, even if I never made this change. I then change the e-mail by default back to Mail reader and exit preferences. I then click on a link in Mail and maybe email, it opens a window of response in the mail, but often he has already been restored to Google Chrome, in a few seconds.   I know how it is important that your default e-mail and browser settings work correctly as well. I suggest to start in safe mode and see if you can make changes here. Check out the following steps: try safe mode if your Mac does not start-up

  Start in safe mode

  Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

  1. Start or restart your Mac.
  2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
  3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

  After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

  To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

  If safe mode doesn't resolve the issue, try uninstalling Google Chrome and then put it back. I hope these steps help!

  I have a Satellite A210-17R with Win XP SP2. Works pretty well, except for the power management settings (they might call energy Mgmt., I don't know, cause Im using a German language version, so all the terms I use are translated from German).

  I am connected with my user name with administrator rights, then this isn't the common thing, where you cannot change the power mgmt based on your user status. I can actually change any settings (when disable hard drive and screen and so on, knowing what to do when the lid is closed), but somehow she maintains herself reset default settings. I tried to remove all the profiles of power except one, but still... keeps resetting. Ive tried to save the changes, eteinde, save the settings and the mashine completely but anyway even if not instantly (and I did not understand a pattern yet) it maintains the default reset.

  Its very annoying cause, I would leave on my laptop at night to download stuff, but I want to close the lid during the night and when I open the lid again in the morning, the day before on.

  Any suggestions?

  As much as I know Satellite A210 isn't always supported WXP. What GST version you have installed on your A210?
