S2240L, broken Panel, no guarantee

And please can you improve the repair monitor (I was unaware of it being so much worse)? I bought a Dell S2240L a few months and I loved the screen, but yesterday he accidentally hit my by a plastic ball and so he broke internally (external screen protector does not have even a scratch). It has a few cracks on the internal screen (under the glass screen protector), and that's why my whole screen has been damaged. That's why I discovered that the screen protector that is done to protect the screen protecting actually itself and not the screen (useless). The screen is very vulnerable and fragile (Please take a look in this). When I tried to contact Dell customer service they told me that material damage are not included in the warranty which is agree with me, but I was told that dell didn't even authorized service center (it should not from a company like dell). They told me to contact any local monitor repair center and see if they can do anything. When I contacted several monitor repair centers around, I got the same answer that the Panel is not available on the market and they tried to ask of many suppliers and dealers and retailers but no positive results. They also told me that I should try to contact dell for the display with them if possible. When I called Dell customer service again, the guy on the other side told me that dell does not provide such a piece in the world and it is a policy (what a foolish policy, you make the product but does not provide parts like the monitor Panel). And instead of giving me a good advice on what should I do with the screen so that it works again, he started telling me don't let children play around and all that personal stuff (what type of training is that there?). Now the big question is "what do I do with the screen because I do not have still enough to make it worth its price and I can't put it junk? What kind of products and services dell provides? I used to believe and to recommend Dell products, but I guess it's time for me to move to brands as Dell does not seem to worry about the customers more. Please help me one last time.

Unfortunately, Dell won't repair monitors, sells components to monitor nor have the documents of disassembly. You need to look for the sign on eBay or another reseller of parts or simply replace the entire screen.

There is no fan in case: the L500 motherboard need a Fan-Signal?
When no Signal-Fan, no reaction (exept the that / battery/power &?) press the power button as possible?

Without the cooling module, there is a high risk of damage to the CPU.
I guess the POST (power on self test) would not correctly and the device will not illuminate if the cooling module is not connected.

MID-7654

Hello everyone,

I have been using MID-7654 for 1.5years as for now with the motion controller PCI-7358. I encountered several problems and I am now controlling 4 different actuators simultaneously. But today when I turned on the system, the motor connected to the axis 3 of the MID-7654 was not responding to commands. I opened MAX and saw that when I ordered something the engine was not pass at all, but the following error has increased and the axis killed himself. I tried to assign axis motion controller 5-8 to the driver and again all axes except axe 3 worked.

Can there be sth wrong electrically within the pilot? All the world is facing a similar problem? Is there a a chance to overcome this problem by changing the settings of the axis?

as this seems to be a hardware failure, please check with your local branch OR for the RMA procedure. In general, we tested the unit and if it's broken and not guarantee more OR will send a repair offer.

15 - B137TU can't see BIOS / POST on HDMI

Hello

Picked up a 15-B137TU with a broken screen. I want to install Linux on this machine, but I don't see the POST, the BIOS or boot on HDMI - the diplsay selection screen comes to only live once the Windows login screen will appear.

The grid Im using is off my desktop computer and can show the BIOS and the POST on the wide screens, so I know it's in the refresh of the screen / resolution range.

I removed the broken Panel so the internal monitor isn't pulgged and more, and I tried hittng F4 / Fn + F4 to change the display, but that makes no difference either.

Is it possible to get the screens of BIOS and POST working on HP laptop, HDMI on this (or any)? A quick search on Google shows it is a fairly common problem, but I'm yet to find a solution.

Suur BIOS, POST - my humble opinion will not be displayed on the external screen. They work with minimal generic display drivers that are capable of internal display lighting only. For the HDMI display connected to the work, the Windows & additional system drivers should load.

You need to fix the computer screen.

Upstream is not showing control panel not / broken

The preflight Panel does not appear. Call from the main menu (window > output > preflight), or the bottom of the window document or via the keyboard shortcut - none of them work - the preflight Panel seems for now shorter, then disappears. No other part of the interface seems to be broken or behave in the same way.

Turns, I managed to get the preflight Panel to display. Here's how: I changed my workspace to one that included the upstream ("printing and proofing") Control Panel. Simple as that.

However, the problem persists when I invoke the Panel in the preflight down window or shortcut menu - the preflight Panel still flashes and disappear instantly. It must be some sort of bug in the user interface.

However, I now have a workaround.

Satellite M300 guarantee for a power adapter broken?

I have some problems with getting a new power adapter.

First of all, I don't know if the warranty covers the power supply.

Second, even if it does, the warranty (I bought a Toshiba Satellite M300, which came with a 1 year warranty, about 360 days ago) may expire before I can get the card sent to a Service Center for repair of toshiba in Victoria (I live in Tasmania.

Thirdly, I tried to call until the call line of Toshiba which was given to me by the store, I bought the laptop, but after having pierced the numbers to get a representative human (and I tried several combinations) I had absolute silence from the other end of the phone, so I can't get all the answers to all your questions and I have no idea where to send the broken adapter.

So wherever I need to send my adapter, it can be sent at the time, I will be actually return a new power adapter and is there anything else I should do to get it?

Yes, the power adapter is covered by warranty (if the warranty is valid) as the entire notebook

Second:
The standard warranty is one year. So if your warranty is still valid you should get in touch with a local ASP (certified partner) in your country and have to ask for help.

So basically, I bought an iPhone 5 c about a year and half ago. (as the last third of the year when it came out)

I had the Apple EarPods I've ever used, kept them in the packaging.

However, after I started to use them much, but then, towards the middle of this year, beat my EarPods and 1 only one side was working.

I went to the Apple store because it was still under warranty, (there was like a week or two until it ended). I got a replacement which is cool.

But now, several months later, it happened again.

Only 1 side of my EarPods work, and it was less than half a year I've had these replacements

So as it was less than 6 months since I have a replacement, they'll give me another replacement?

Backup and restore in Control Panel broken

I just replaced an aging C: / hard drive with an SSD Samsung and cloned my OS 64 bit Windows 7 overall. I used data migration the Samsung app.

Everything goes well except in emergency control panel and restore does not work. Screenshot see attachment. Clicking in the pane does nothing.

I ran sfc/scannow, and he did not find any breach of integrity. VolumeShadowCopy is in automatic mode.

Can anyone offer any words of wisdom?

Yes it is the service Windows backup that I put on automatic to get Control Panel Backup and Restore works again.

After your post I put it to manual and it always of the functions.

I thought initially that Auto was the best in that sense, it runs automatically. What is the functional difference between manual and automatic startup type settings?

Bar tools, horizontal rule, and timeline panel broken in version Windows in Photoshop on a monitor Dell 5 k

I know not how many people have this problem, but, when I set the resolution of the monitor at 5 k, rule the toolbar, horizontal and panel mounting are partially covered by black rectangles. The bug disappears when I lower the resolution of 4 k (3840 x 2160) or when I select the put 100% on the scale in Photoshop.

Dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics (disabled SLI)

The Photoshop CC 2015.1.1 update, released on 14 December, fixed the problem of scaling. The toolbar, the horizontal rule and the mounting Panel are still visible.

When I try to add a page of my document or organize existing pages - via the Pages panel - InDesign freezes and I end up giving up strength.
I TS with a specific document for some reason any...

The usual order of things is to try to export to .idml, if it does not move pages to a new doc (which is NOT the same as reconstruction), and finally the more draconian measures such as rebuilding.

To move the pages, make a new file with the same page size, then rename the master page into something that you are not in the original. Open the paragraph Styles Panel and in the flyout menu choose import styles and import all styles of text of the original file (you can get away with just doing [standard paragraph] as the others come with the text, anyway, if they are used).

In the original doc, open the Pages panel and select all pages, and then in the drop down choose move Pages... and as a destination, choose the new file and before Page 1. After the move, delete the last page of the new file (the old blank page 1). Save under a new name.

Broken Swatches Panel

My Swatches from InDesign CS5 Panel crossed yesterday.
When I select a text box with the arrow tool, I should be able to click on the "box" or "T" icons at the top of the Swatches palette to choose if I want the box to change color or type of color to change. These items are not selectable.
It works very well in the color Panel, but not the swatches Panel. The swatches Panel works fine when I connect with a different user account.
I wonder what preference file causes this problem. I tried many files of Adobe preferences out of my library, without success.

Broken behaviors from Fireworks 8 Panel
I use Fireworks 8 on Mac G4 with OS 10.3.9

My panels behaviors does not display columns of the events or behaviors, and I'm unable to edit an event that triggers the behavior.

I noticed that the 27/05/07 someone posted the same problem under 'behaviors panel missing columns FW-8.
Unfortunately, there is no response then this problem.

Problem has been solved!

I ran the installer and done a complete uninstall of Fireworks 8. Then I installed Fireworks 8.

The behaviors panel now works normally again.
