  I think you should check the different HDMI cables and should check the HDMI settings and the different ports of the TV, even if the HDMI cable works very well with the PS3.
  The fact is that these lines does not appear on the TV using the VGA port and VGA cable so it has something to do with port HDMI, TV or the cable.

  I agree with Richard. There's probably graphics card failure. If the same behavior occurs during the starting procedure, the graphics card must be exchanged. I mean the motherboard together. ;(

  I can't seem to find this question anywhere so I'll ask it now. Just earlier today, I started my computer and started to do things normally. I went online and started to watch a Youtube clip before the screen started to Flash, goes black and back to the screen, then back to black, while also showing red lines horizontally across the screen. When it stopped flashing for a bit, the lines looked like clearly everywhere, almost like code seen in the "Matrix" movies I did not anything out of the ordinary these last time, so I doubt it's a virus but I tried to restart the computer and the lines are everywhere during the shutdown and startup of phases. It is a display driver that need to be updated or do I really have a problem here bigger than a pilot?

  Corrupted? Who doesn't look good at all... I'll try to update the drivers, if the flashing stops long enough to get online. I hope that it is all just too outdated to a driver and nothing else...
