  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

• Since the update to 6,18 windows is slow and unresponsive

  Hello. Since I updated to 6.18 last my Win8.1 (once a day) was sometimes slow and unresponsive, even if the Task Manager indicates that nothing is happening. It takes the Task Manager, 8 seconds to appear. Here, I see that Skype does not respond and when I kill it then system responds once more.

  When I restart Skype I 1/5 chance of having the problem again, so I reboot several times to make it work. When there will be a version 6.18 fixed?

• When getting started, my computer is slow and unresponsive?

  For the last two or three days, I noticed that my computer is very slow and unresponsive. None of the programs that I click on will open and usually everything will freeze if I press what either.   I think my computer was somehow set up for users with disabilities with the settings in Control Panel to sticky keys and keys on filters.  Now, they are disabled.

• iMac 2011 constantly cold and unresponsive liked

  I have an iMac 27 "2011 that freezes all the time.  It will show the beachball and then become totally unresponsive until I have to manually turn off.  It does this at random and several times a day.  He does it with the basic tasks, such as browsing the net or by writing an email.  I have only to keep Outlook and iTunes running constantly and close all other applications down when I do not use them.  I thought that maybe reinstalling the operating system (not a not wipe anything just reinstalled) would help, but its still happening.  I recently did a backup of my hard drive but I wonder if I just need to clean the machine.  Anyone have any ideas?  Here is my EtreCheck report.

  You have a BUNCH of stuff installed can be attributed to your problem. One that stands out particularly is CleanMyMac. He has a very bad reputation here to cause problems with the Mac otherwise in good health. It is often mentioned that his routines to "clean up" (neither of which is required) can be too enthusiastic and can remove critical system files.

  The list of third-party stuff - that has the potential to destabilize your Mac - including SIMBL (a change of system, is really too long to solve the problems. BlackberryRIM stuff occurs also on here as potentially cause problems.

  You may need to consider to make a backup complete and up-to-date (of preferably at least two copies) and then erase the HD, reinstall the OS and then just to restore your data.

  Re-installing fresh copies of your third-party applications and only install applications that you really need. Always avoid the stuff that is 'clean', pushed, enhance, optimize, etc. your Mac. All a waste of time money. The Mac will look after itself without the need for third-party applications.

• iMac became very slow and unresponsive

  I have an iMac which, in the last two days, suddenly became unusably slow. Almost every click brings up the spinning beachball even just after a reboot. iTunes cannot play a melody without pausing every minute or two. Same Safari is really slow, so I have still not tried more demanding such as Lightroom.

  Its an iMac mid 2010, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HD with 305 GB free. Im running El captain, 10.11.6

  Any ideas what could be causing this or what I could do to remedy the situation? IM thinking I have to go through the pain of wiping the hard drive and reinstall everything. But I'd really rather avoid because I was planning on getting a new iMac when they release then them and I don't want to go through all that process again.

  I hope someone has an idea of something I could try before doing this?

  Try to run this program, copy and paste the result in a response. The program was created by Etresoft, a regular contributor.  Use please copy and paste the screenshots can be difficult to read. On the screen with the Options, please open Options and tick the boxes in the bottom 2 before the race. • Crazy Safari, I can't press 'shift' and press 'h' together

  Hello everyone,

  I really try the search response, but it seems that no one have the same problem as me. As noted on my subject on the safari version 9.1.1, version OS X El Capitan 10.11.5, every time I want to press 'shift' and 'h' key together it seems that my tab all disappear and I go to the apple.com website. I have also tried using chrome to do the same thing but doesn't seem to have any problem, so I think the problem is the safari itself. The problem persists after that I updated my OS X.  Oh and I tried to use app to remove the malware or adware, but it does not detect anything.

  It was very long and I don't notice really this problem a lot because I don't really use uppercase ' h' on my tongue, but it still bothers me.

  Someone knows about this problem and maybe help me. I have a video that would prove it.

  I'm so frustrated and I wanted to reinstall my OS X, but unfortunately my internet is so slow and have to wait like 14 hours...

  Try to reset the settings of Safari:

  1. open Safari

  2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

  3. Select the Preferences/Privacy tab

  4. click on remove all data from the Web site

  5. close Safari.

  Remove cache Safari files:

  1. click on finder

  2. look for the menu GO to top

  3. click on GO and hold down the option key. This will show a user library folder.

  4. click library and find the Caches folder

  5. in the folder caches com.apple.Safari Ouvrezledossier

  6. move the Cache.db file Trash.

  Some of these sites are well known shorteners of URL, usually for security or reasons of advertising. If you can't go to the desired page, empty your browser cache:

  Your iframe should have access to its own resources, but not those of frame parent. If you want to share data with another site, even if it is a site that contains your iframe, you do it on the back end.
