• Source Import Lightroom devices shows not all images on the card

  After importing images via the Lightroom Import Panel, I found that not all images on a card camera appear if "Source: devices" is selected.

  My camera creates a new image file (located in the DCIM folder) after 999 images taken by the camera. In this particular case, the images numbered _DSF0999. RAF and this is in the folder 110_Fuji and all that (for example, _DSF1000. RAF and above) is located in the 111_Fuji folder. However, Lightroom "Sources: Devices" (in this case, "Untitled") shows all the images in the second image file, 111 - Fuji. Only images in 110_Fuji are visible.

  
  

  "Copy all" is selected in the central part of the import Panel.

  The images are displayed if you select the card (in this case called "Untitled") in section "Files" from the dialog box import on the left side of the import Panel and check the box "include subfolders." It is not subfolders box or selection in the devices section of the import Panel, but rather a "eject after the entry" checkbox if the device is selected.

  Is this normal, or is there a way for all images on the card to be seen (and imported) through Sources: devices? Yet once, there is nothing like 'include subfolders' through Sources: devices, since it is in the section "Files" from the import Panel. Is there something that I am missing, or is this a bug? I looked through many books, google this deliverance, etc and I've not seen anything that addresses this issue. I usually just insert an SD card into a card reader and click on "import". • Not all images displayed on the blogs I visit

  This all started a week ago. When I visit blogs not all photos will be displayed. Some will appear and some lack even let a box that can be opened manually. It's driving me crazy.

  What?  Can you please rephrase your question in order to understand what you're asking?

  If you ask how a file on the remote site via FTP without FTPing any dependent files?  That the answer is Yes, you can do this by changing the SITE > dependent files: option in the PREFERENCES to enable the option "prompt on put/check-in."  The next time you download a file, you will be asked if you want to also download dependent files.  If you say NO and check the don't ask again option, then you will always simply load the file and not the dependents. You can change it back at any time by changing the preferences of this setting.

• Lightroom import does not all images

  I'm trying to import 2554 photos in Lightroom to a wedding that I shot yesterday. I created a new catalog and went to import photos, however in the upper right of the import screen it says there is no 2131 photos to import. I've never had this problem before.   In Preferences > general, make sure JPGs to treat raw as separate photos next to files is checked.

  My problem is that while everything about Firefox this page properly in Safari, most of the characters in Russian words in the "Sample" column is exclamation points. Why is this and what can I do about it?

  I found another discussion on a similar problem, but this user (who used another web page) was simply see unknown cyrilliennes letters, while I see bangs instead of letters.

  Note that all characters in the column «letter» is displayed correctly (they are in a different font than those in the "Sample" column) and a few words in the "Sample" column display correctly, but most of them don't.

  So I guess my question is how and where I specify which fonts Safari should use (although I'm not sure about this).

  Try to go to Applications > font book and file > restore fonts Standard and then restart.

  Perform the following steps to change the DPI (dots per inch):

  1. Click Start > Control Panel > appearance and themes
  2. Click on display
  3. Select the settings tab.
  4. Click the Advanced button.
  5. Under the Genetal tab, change the DPI

  I have an af table in my jsff and it is bound to a display object. When I run the page locally in my jdev the table af shows all lines present in the ViewObject. But when I deploy the application in our SIT weblogic break page maximum of 25 lines shows if VO has more than 25 lines.

  I put the size of the VO - 1 range. The size of range iterator is empty. I'm naïve why he works in local jdev and does not not in SIT.

  When I click on a label under the component "Tags" I see only a subset of the images that contain that tag.

  For example, I have a label of "Pat". When I click this tag with 'All media' active I get 81 results.

  If the update went normally without error, don't worry about this.

  The reason you get different results with two types of search is more likely because of the hierarchy of tags and the fact that you can assign the same word in different subcategories or one more tag.

  If you select by a check box on a tag in the Panel tags, you get only the items in the sub category. If you use the search in detail or in text, you will also find the same tag in other categories. On the current situation is when you have imported the files and you're left with the real tag and the other in the "imported" tags

  For example, I have a subcategory 'Flowers and gardens' tagged 'flowers '. I also have a tag 'Flowers' in another category for a special place. The number of found items depends on the search mode. If you use the search by text (top right), you will see different results and this will give you an idea of the differences.

  It is not a good idea to assign the same tag in different categories, but I'm willing to bet there will be a lot of complaints if the software prevented this bad practice.

• Adobe Bridge CC smart Collections are not all images in the folder

  I'm having a problem with bridge CC have been I have set up a smart collection to monitor my new photos. The folder contains more than 300 photos, but displays only 160.   I suspect you have the library opened with a folder or a selected Collection.  Make sure you select all of the Photos (or something else - I don't have the user from Lr interface in front of me right now)

  As suggested in another thread, you can always search for images in the library. Or you can go down in the records if you know where they have been imported from.
