Safari issue

I have a website that I can't sign in. The Apple message tells me that it is encrypted... I select all the 'Apple send authorization codes allow', but still no luck... I have two Macs, a performer on El Capitan and Yosemite. I have the same problem with both.

Some sites require a special client certificate for access. If you do not have this certificate, please contact the operator of the site to find out how to get a.

Sometimes, the problem is caused by a web server that is configured to request client optionally certificates. Safari treats the request as required. In this case, other browsers such as Firefox and Chrome may be able to connect to the site, because they ignore the request.

The first time you have been prompted for a certificate, you may be clicked on via a dialog box that has requested access to the profile for Apple in your keychain, which is used to guarantee the iMessage service. In this case, you will be able to regain access to the site in Safari by following these steps.

Please, back up all data.

Launch the Keychain Access application in one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

The keychain items list with the name of the site in question and type "identity preference."

Delete the item by selecting it and pressing the delete key. The next time you visit a site which requires an optional client certificate, exit the command prompt. You may need to do this several times until the server stops to ask.

Hardware: Macbook Air (early 2015) - OS X Yosemite (10.10.05)

Guys good day. I've just updated my OS X Security and Safari last night. I am currently having problems with my Safari, it varies not being able to load a Web site (cannot connect cannot connect to the server, secure) and loading Web sites not entirely.

I deleted my story, my cookies and restarted the laptop. More suggestions on how to solve the problems? (I still don't have an external HD, so I hope that the solution would be something not to jeopardize my files). Hope to hear from you guys. Please and thank you.

You can have an extension or a third party plugin installed Safari which causes a conflict.

In the Safari menu, click Safari > Preferences, and then select the tab Extensions extensions uninstall then leave then restart Safari to test.

If it is not a question of extensions, try troubleshooting third-party plug-ins.

Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the tab Security Deselect: plug-ins Allow. Quit and restart Safari to test.

If it makes a difference, the instructions of troubleshooting plugins here.

If extensions and plug-ins are not the problem, go in your Safari menu bar, click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab, then click: delete all data of the website can leave and then restart Safari to test.

  • Safari issues - does not randomly

    Hello

For some time I had experienced a problem quite annoying - and random - when running Safari. Occasionally, while browsing in Safari the program - and all of the operating system - becomes inadmissible. No matter how long wait, the system returns. No shortcut key shots don't work. The only solution once this problem occurs is manually turns off the computer.

I ran EtreCheck to see if I have some plugin that is causing the problem, but I don't see anything obvious at the origin of this problem.

I would appreciate a wise OS user to guide me through this problem and to help solve. Thank you for your time.

  • Safari issues: (slow) search, (slow) tab

(I know there are discussions on the 'Slow Safari' theme, but it does not seem to mention the exact problem, I have experience.) Please let know me if I should delete this discussion for this)

Hello. I dealt with this problem for the last month. Here's my problem and what I did:

When I type 'New tab' in Safari, it takes forever (5-10 seconds) until the tab appears.

When I click in the address bar (were I search in Google and put into the site, I want to go to the) I takes forever (5-10 seconds) before I can write something.

So, what made a person with experience of the computer (I have a lot of experience of Windows. ('New' on OS X)? Uninstall the program (Safari) and re-install. But it does not work under OS X I have re-installed OS X El Capitan. The problem has been solved, Safari was fast again. But, the next day, same problem. First I thought it was a car (because this is the program ONLY I had installed other than the pre-installed applications). But it wasn't a disc. Then I if it were my installation of Bootcamp (had no idea why, but why not try some remove), so I formatted the drive around and re-installed OS X El Capitan again. Safari worked flawlessly, I could install a player, always worked perfectly.

SO: When I got to my work and installed the printer I use, Safari was slow again (as described above). It is not sensible, but after I installed this printer, Safari was slow and train again. Go figure!

And YES: I tried all, delete this and delete this (cache, history, cookies, off iCloud for Safari, disabled the settings in 'search', deleted several files in the library and system as suggested no multiple sites). He done for me...

I don't want to change the browser, because I really like the Safari and it connects to my iPhone and iPad. Can anyone help?

Run this test and post the results here.

Safari does not, nor will it try to open. How to bring back Safari? I upgraded to El apitan 3 weeks ago and suddenly Safari "is no longer connected.

If your Mac is running v10.11.3, update your system software will probably help the Safari issue.

Open the App Store and then select updates from the top of the menu in the window of the App Store.

    The v10.11.4 update is available.

  • Safari 6.0 installation problem

    Hello

I am running: Mac OS Safari 6.0 10.7.4,, Adobe Flash 11.4.402.265.

All of a sudden, web pages started telling me that I needed to Flash, I know was already installed. But I downloaded and installed the latest version anyway. Installation was successful. I can see the plugin in my library system. But web pages are always telling me to install Flash. I uninstalled and tried again and restarted the browser and computer.

I tried Firefox and flash works very well: it is a Safari issue.

No idea what I can try next? Thank you, Avi

    AVI,

Please go to help > installed Plug-ins. Only you see Shockwave Flash listed there?

Also, to the point, make sure that disable JavaScript is not enabled.

    Thank you

  • Mail going offline

I use an iMac and a relatively new Macbook Pro.  Both computers are set up the same and use the same network.  My Mail from Apple often goes offline on my Macbook Pro.  I have to turn off and then back on my wifi.  I also do when my internet (using Safari) freezes.  I have read several posts on this problem, but you have not seen a solution.  I posted about this earlier (impossible to find my post) and someone said it was a problem with my network.  Not sure why I have this problem on my Macbook Pro and not on my iMac, several air MacBook, iPad and iPhone.  Help, please.

    Thank you.

    Hi Brendan Frank,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. From your post, I gathered that your e-mail account in the Mail application is taken offline and also, you have problems with Safari does not, but only on the MacBook Pro not the iMac. I want to check my email on multiple devices, so I can understand your concern. I'll be happy to help you with this. I found this support article happening on some information:

If you cannot send or receive e-mail on your Mac.

    In particular, this section:

If Mail indicates that your account appears to be offline
Mail will say that your account appears to be offline due to a network problem.

If you are connected to the Internet, but your account appears to be offline, your e-mail settings may not be correct. To view your current settings in Mail, choose Preferences from the mail menu, click accounts, and then select your e-mail account.
OS X will automatically use account settings appropriate for many e-mail providers. You can use the search for Mail settings to display these settings, or receive the settings from your email provider. Then compare them to the settings that you see in Mail preferences.

If your MacBook Pro has not been restarted recently, I recommend a reboot.

If Safari is slow, unresponsive, which closes unexpectedly or has other issues, this article goes on some information for the Safari issue that you are experiencing as well.

You can also test these two problems in safe mode to see if they occur. First of all, you need to add the email account in the Mail application.

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

To return to your main user account after try safe mode, simply restart the Mac. To check if these problems are specific to the user or system-wide, you can always check this in another user account.

How to test a question in another account on your Mac.

    Have a great day!

It's my first time with an Apple product and I love my iPad, but I have Safari issues mentioned by many.  If disappointing! Please resolve.

Apple is aware of the problem and will soon release a fix. Wait a bit.

  • Firefox 5 on a Mac X10.6 capatcha any work, this isn't a local issue because everything works in Safari and Chrome

Since I use Firefox 5 whenever I finish a page captcha on any type of form, it does not work. Once the code is entered and submitted the can just erase and a new captcha element is delivered and this continues, the only way out is to quit firefox and go on Safari or Chrome to complete and submit the form.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions of the origin of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • Safari 9.0.2 and issue of HTML5

I'm under El Capitan 10.11.2 and Safari 9.0.2. There's a plugin video silverlight which modernized with changes in the operating system in recent years. I sometimes watch a video in continuous which blocks or pads for periods of time, sometimes long periods. I read that ability of HTML5 is automatically included in Safari and it is the preferred option, but I can't find a prompt anywhere to push the browser using this ability for video streams. Of course, I can uninstall silverlight and its taking in. Anyone know if this is safe and resolve the issue please.

Try to go on Safari, Preferences, security, Internet Plug-ins and uncheck Silverlight. Restart Safari and test.

After installing Safari 10.0, on OSX El Capital 10.11.6, Safari closes abruptly and randomly. When it works, it seems to be slow.

They have not test this before release or are we beta testers?

    Hello...

Perhaps because of Safari extensions, or third party plug-ins.

They have not test this before release or are we beta testers?

Yes, but that does not apply to Safari of third party modules.
