  This is a common problem and there is currently no permanent solution.

  Try turning off JavaScript under settings - Safari - Advanced.

  Keep patience, I think soon Apple will figure things out.

  My macbook pro (early 2015) has been working great until about a week ago. It started freezing and now it done very often. IM do not receive a beachball, the mouse pointer remains the same. Im having to restart it manually each time by holding down the power button. This problem began only after I have updated to the version OS X EL capitan 10.11.4. 80 GB of free space so I don't think it's a problem.

  I had this problem too, like many other people (there is several messages and discussions already). Seems to happen more often with Mac in 2015.

  There is nothing to do. I tried a clean install of El Capitan with full SSD erased and 10.11.4 combo update, it did not help; my macbook pro 13 2015 keeps freezing with Safari.

  It is related to Safari or a framework/driver related to the browser.

  Apple has to fix. Just use Firefox or Chrome.

• New iMac with freezing of El Capitan

  Three months ago, I bought an iMac with OS El Capitan new 21.5 with an upgrade to 16 GB of RAM.  In the weeks following the purchase, he looked for freeze with much activity Beachball.  The only way to get around this was to turn off the machine by pressing the power button and then turn it on again.  Two weeks ago I took in my local Apple store for an appointment at the Genius Bar.  After a diagnostic test there is nothing wrong with the hardware.  They decided that it was a software problem and performed a reinstallation of the software.  Two weeks later my iMac is still freezing almost every day, just like before.

  A couple of searches of the Internet shows that I am is not the only one having this problem, forums and magazines are full of identical complaints of using El Capitan Mac owners, however, the staff in my local Apple store will not admit there is a problem?  Anyone else here have this problem?  Is there a solution to this problem?

  If you have installed an antivirus or any application on the cleaning system which is probably the case. If you have, and then follow instructions to uninstall their application developers! • Satellite A100-225 keeps freezing and crashing with the new HARD drive

  Hi all

  I have a Satellite A100-225 with a 100 GB SATA Hitachi drive I int it that recently started showing bad sectors. Then I bought a Hitachi 320 GB SATA II drive to replace it. I tried the drive and it was recognized right away, so I didn't need to change the SATA speed. I ran the restore a disk installed newest. The problem I have is that the computer keeps freezing and crashing with the new drive. It takes a lot of time to load up when turned on and there is a noticeable to untermittant delay when you drag the cards around solo.

  I tried to run the Hitachi drive test and it comes back fine. I also tried to turn the SATA speed of the drive down from 300 to 150 via the firmware, and although I saw a slight improvement, it is still not right.

  I talked to Hitachi and they say that he could not be 100% compatible, so the problems. Someone at - it else sucessfully set up a replacement for this notebook drive and if so what make and model. Has anyone else had simular problems?

  Years ago, I've updated yet more former Satellite M70 with SATA HDD (270 GB if I m remembering well) and everything was fine.
  In my view upgrade with SATA HDD normal shouldn't be a problem. Do not SATA II because it will not work faster.

  I can't say for sure, but there must be a compatibility problem.

  Let's see if someone else had better luck with the upgrade of the disk on the Satellite A100.

  Have you checked this forum with advanced search option? Maybe you can find some old NET on upgrade the HDD on A100.

  You use 3.82 GB to 4 GB of your memory. Something is to take all this memory, causing your computer slow down and eventually freeze. To see which uses the most memory, open the activity monitor by searching for it in the spotlight. Select the memory tab, and then click memory for sorting by the user higher at the lowest. What is at the top should not be more than 600 unless you use some videos crazy editing/rendering programs. You can 'leave' a process of this window if it takes a lot of memory. If you leave something, you will lose everything you were doing in the process (e.g. Word, Safari, etc...) Google Chrome is one of the largest memory there suckers. I don't know if you're using Chrome or not, but I give you just a heads up.

  If you see multiple instances of Adware, remove them.

  By default, there is nothing in the files of demons of the Agents/launch of launch system, so you can remove these items without damaging the computer.   I have a (retina, 13 in.) Macbook Pro to early 2015 which keeps freezing randomly. By this, I mean that the screen freezes when I am browsing on safari, or when I'm coding, etc. and also the trackpad and keyboard stop working.
  I can't move the cursor (and it stays the same, it does not change to the beachball) and the trackpad gives no feedback whatsoever, I stop being able to 'feel' the clicks.
  This began to happen shortly after I updated to El Capitan, and now it freezes on me once a day or every two days.

  Try each of them in order. A test to see if the computer works properly:

  1. Reset the PRAM
  2. Reset the controller (SMC) system management
  3. Start the computer in Safe Mode, and then restart normally. It's slower than a standard home.
  4. Repair the disk by booting to the HD recovery immediately after that the chime press the command and R keys until the Utility Menu appears. Choose disk utility and click on the continue button. Select the withdrawal (usually Macintosh HD) volume entry in the list to one side.  Click first aid button in the toolbar. Wait the fact button appear. Disk utility and return in the Utility Menu.   There are a number of problems of running iMovie 11 under El Capitan, particularly with still pictures appears.  (It does not supports video 4K).  I recommend try iMovie 10.1.2 which you should be able to get in for free or may already have in your applications folder.  Although your camera model in particular is still not listed, I would expect it would probably work, and failing that you should be able to read files directly from the SD card if you put in an SD card reader.

  I currently have Yosemite 10.10.5 and use Audacity to record my DJ Mix. I'm afraid to go to El Capitan because I afraid of bold no longer works. Does anyone know if Audacity will work with El Capitan?

  I used the last bold (2.1.0) no problem for various projects, including the recording of the different inputs and sources, and I'm running 10.11.4. I keep a 32 GB flash USB 3 drive fast to install and test drive new OS which is quite practical as no reinstallation of my main system is necessary if I am having problems.
