    Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
    a process that solves the problem.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
    Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
    RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

    Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
    cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

    Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
    ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and

    I am designing a Web test page and it looks wrong in firefox... half top of page Web appears and I have to press ctrl and - to see the whole page... also, even when I see the entire page, the right scroll bar that appears on every Web page does not appear?     The missing scroll bar is caused by the position: fixed; and top: 0px; rules.

    I have no navigation bar since I closed it to have more space on the screen. It will not re - open. Firefox does not open in safe mode, but immediately opens in normal mode with the new configuration incorrect, so I can't reset to default configuration. I deleted Firefox and re-installed and it always opens with the same faulty configuration. Why doesn't Firefox give me the safe mode dialog box, why can I not re - open the navigation bar, and how I can do those two things, please? Firefox is currently unusable for me without a navigation bar with no access to the default settings in safe mode. I can't search the extensions that I use since I have no navigation bar to go to tools, modules, Extensions.

    To reproduce:

    -Add web sites to the list of 'Green' in the Parental control as suggested in the post mentioned above.  This has no effect.
    -Select "allow all websites and content.  There is still no effect.
    -Disable Parental controls for the user.  link iTunes Store arrives without problem.

    I find that my daughter is unable to access the iTunes store unless I have turn off the parental control.  I would use Parental controls.  Help, please.  Thank you.

    Rock you.  Yes, it seems that this problem could be solved by adding iTunes in the HTTPExemptions list.  In particular, adding a String key under:

    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Parental Controls\HTTPExemptions

    The key name and the value must be the path to the executable to iTunes (c:\program files\iTunes\iTunes.exe on my machine).

    I guess the drawback here is that now that my kids could, theoretically, use iTunes to access any URL on the internet, but to my knowledge, there is nowhere in iTunes where they could just type a URL and go.  In addition, there are Parental control built into iTunes as well.

    Normally Youtube and social media are blocked for our Organization, with the exception of the Marketing Department as they manipulate our social media.  Today, I got a ticket saying youtube has been blocked.  They provided the link and I see that the system does not detect them as their user name.  It is detected as "scriptlogicuser".  I checked the CDA and of course the user's IP address is mapped to 'scriptlogicuser '.

    It is a user account that is used in Dell Desktop Authority (previously Quest Desktop Authority, previously ScriptLogic Desktop Authority).

    It is a suite of applications that allows to manage a number of script parameters to logon via a web interface.  You can attach printers, card readers, run scripts, install programs, etc...  There is a user account called scriptlogicuser that this service uses to perform tasks of type admin.  If the user has no rights to local administrator (which is recommended in a place of business), then use this account to make administrative settings behind the scenes.

    Is it possible to ignore this user name in Active Directory logging or CDA?  Do a quick filter for scriptlogicuser, I'm back from 32 differnet computers connected between 2/19 13:53 and 2/20 13:36 (I take it's time GMT).

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

    There are other things that need attention.

    Try to use Internet Explorer without modules (start - all programs-Accessories System Tools). The web pages appear OK then?

  • Web does not connect to Internet

    This can be answered somewhere, but in this case I didn't come with the right search terms to find:

    Web (browser) does not connect what to be it for me.  He worked very right up until about a day ago.  Now, when I try to go to all Web sites, it is just a blank white screen and never connects.  When I first try to go on a blue and gray circle site down right is there and does not move.  If I hit 'x' and then try to reload, then the gray and blue bars are going in a circle as it tries to load the site but nothing ever happens after that.

    Telephone is an AT & T Palm Pre stock more.  There are three downloaded apps installed.  The most recent was Facebook 1.5 - I'm sure I've used Web successfully since I installed this app.

    The problem occurs on both WiFi and 3G connections.

    Any ideas?

    Have you tried the simplest of steps - a restart of troubleshooting?

    Info/Reset Options / reset of the device.

    We have created a web client using axis 1.6.2 and its use in 11 GR 2 IOM to request the Validator Plugin. But we get question as org.apache.axiom.om.OMAbstractFactory. getOMFactory() could not be found. When we checked the jars in the classpath, we found that IOM already a weaker version of axiom1.2.5 in its class under oim.ear path that does not contain this method however Axis1.6.2 contains the most recent version that contains this method. Is someone has any idea how to replace the JAR of IOM default classpath file and force to the library to read available in plugin files?

    It seems that OIM 11 g a conflict with Axis2 because it contains old jar files used in the axis. Remove these jar files or update these jar files break existing functionality of IOM. The Web service in our case client worked after you have created the client using WSIMPORT, even if we include the classes of Customer Service under the oim.ear/APP_INF/lib folder. We have tried, including the class files of client under the plugin only, but somehow always sought IOM under the oim.ear folder. Probably a bug in OIM 11 g because I could not find mention this anywhere in the documentation.
