Samsung RV511 win 7-10 win

I'm looking to get Win7 64-bit to win 10 on a Samsung RV511. After you download the upgrade, the machine hangs after the loading of the installation files. The screen displays the logo of win 10, but all died. Reboot back win7. Can someone please help? This problem has occurred three times in two user profiles.

Thank you and best regards.

The first thing I would do is make sure that your computer Samsung is supported:

http://www.Samsung.com/us/Windows10/upgrade.html

If it is compatible, try the upgrade manually:

Task of pre-required

When you make significant changes to your computer for example updated operating system, you must always back up. See the links to resources on the backup by clicking the link for each version of Windows you are using: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1

then

then

  • Turn off (preferably uninstall) your Antivirus utility before you perform the upgrade.
  • Reboot several times, and then try again.
  • Disable the general USB peripherals (for example - smart card reader).
  • If you are using a SCSI drive, make sure you have the drivers available for your storage on a thumdrive device and it is connected. During the installation of Windows 10, click on the advanced custom Option and use the command load driver to load the driver for the SCSI drive. If this does not work and the installer still fails, consider switching to an IDE based hard drive.
  • Perform a clean boot, restart, and then try again.
  • If you upgrade to the. ISO file, disconnect from the Internet during the installation, if you are connected in LAN (Ethernet) or wireless, disable both, then try to install.
  • If you are updated through Windows Update, when download reaches 100% disconnect from the LAN (Ethernet) Internet or Wi - Fi, then proceed with the installation.
  • If this does not work, try using the. ISO file to upgrade if possible.
  • If you are connected to a domain, go to a local account.
  • If you have an external equipment, attached to the machine, unplug them (example, game controllers, USB sticks, external hard drive, printers, peripherals not essential).

The challenge is that I can not connect as an administrator. There is only one user, which is also the Director, and apparently it is corrupt. All the solutions I've found seems to start with "first of all, log in as an admin..." - but there is the problem: I can not connect at all.

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

You can try to fix it with Safe Mode - repeatedly press F8 as you bootup. The ADMIN account in trunk
Mode has no default password (unless someone has changed the password so it should be available).

Some programs such as the updated Google (if you added the toolbar Google, Chrome or Google Earth)

  • My internet keeps disconnecting even if the router works fine. He maintains have diagnosed as a DNS error any.

I have a Samsung RV511 which is only a couple of years.  It has been disconnected from the internet every 2 to 5 minutes or more, but my router works fine.  I got a new power cord, ethernet for her, but the computer continues to disconnect. When I diagnose the problem, it indicates the server DNS does not.  Tried to contact my internet provider, but they couldn't understand why I didn't know every little thing on my computer and made me feel pretty stupid so I'm curious to see if anyone else out there it can help.

I used to get this problem.  My connection would get a yellow top warning symbol & I could no longer communicate on the internet.  No Windows diagnosis could correct & would only sometimes identify [as a DNS problem].

I searched for advice, but never really found a convincing explanation or an appeal.  I started using the commands below [that I found in this forum] to restore things.  It seemed most of the working time.

Several people also suggest just reset the router, but that was irrelevant, because I haven't used one but I tried to remove and then reconnect the modem USB and sometimes helped.

The problem seems to occur in phases, but I could never understand what was different between the good times & bad times.  I've always suspected the software controlling my USB modem but could never be sure.  I changed the USB modem & the problem went away for months before returning [but less frequently than before].  Now, I have a wireless connection with my mobile phone and use it as my modem for internet connection - 5 months without problem.

What I did was to open a command prompt [I think he should be executed as administrator], then type:

    netsh winsock reset
    RESTART THE PC
    netsh int ip reset
    RESTART THE PC
    ipconfig/flushdns
    ipconfig/registerdns
    RESTART THE PC

As I say, this procedure allows to sort out most of the time, but it should reappear later.

    Hello

I have a laptop Samsung R60 (which was under Vista) and I put a larger HARD drive in and DVD intalled a new copy of Win 7 Ultimate and all updates.

Since the installation of Win 7 my battery lasts now only 5 minutes and the laptop goes off, where as before he would take 2 hours + with Vista.

Hi, I have installed WinXp SP3 on a Samsung NP-X11B and installed all the drivers that I downloaded on the samsung website. Everything works well except when I installed the driver for his driver, I get an error code 41. After installing the driver, the system asks for a restart and once restart is completed, a window opens up to the execution of soundmaxPnp.exe (or something like that). I clicked the run button, but nothing happens. I always get the error code 41 and the icon for max sound on the system tray is crossed by saying "not found audio device, sound max could not start)

I tried to look in the registry using the guides of the Microsoft Knowledge base, but did not find any key upperfilter and lowefilter listed anywhere for this sound key. Please help, my last option resort is to reformat the system and try to reinstall the drivers, I downloaded the samsung Web site form.

HI, thanks for the response. Hmm, well the laptop is a teaching tool given to teachers of emitted by the Government, and they were strictly instructed NOT to make any software or hardware changes before approvals from the Board of education of the District.

Even when he is allowed to do that, teachers need to sent the unit to the District Office the it unit. I suspect that the teacher in the case broke this code and since the laptop unit must be returned to the office when a teacher or user retires or is transferred... so... you get the drift.    It has nothing to do with any problem in Windows 7, which is the large BONE, I might add.
