Sansa c200

I can't turn on the sansa, the PC do not recognize when I connected to it.

I tried to reset waiting on the market for 1 min switch, nothing happens.

Please help me, I need to get this working

TKS

Hello everyone, I am so happy that I'm finally able to get this to work.

That's what I did, I'm not too sure if this action did the job.

I download the firmware, copy the 3 files in the sd card.

The power on switch & it works. Sounds stupid, but it works.

Cheer up!

  • C200 stops playback of Micro SD cards

Sent this CS, was referred to Sansa FAQ, knowledge base and this forum - everything I had been through previously.

Sansa C200, v1. I can sync music into the internal memory without problem. When I sync to 2 GB micro SD cards, here's what happens:

    (1) I have sync card #1. Everything works fine. Can select and play all the music that is on the card, as well as music in the brief internal.
    (2) I then sync card #2. Everything works fine. Can select and play all the music that is on the card, as well as music in the brief internal.
    (3) power off, remove the #2 card, replace it with the #1 card. Device shows "Refresh database" for a few seconds, then goes to the main menu. The music does not display the map #1 music, but continues to display the same music that was on the map #2 (more music in the internal memory). Selection of one of the music on the #2 card gives the message "Wrong track." Is not surprising, since it is now map #1 in there.

Does not feed power is turned off/on several times. Finally, the unit stops to read external cards altogether, does is display the music in the internal memory.

I tried to reformat the card and the device, without success; problem continues to happen again.

Also, I tried to update the firmware for the Sansa website - v 01.01.07P now running.

I have six cards, purchased at different times, from different vendors, and what is happening with them. And the cards all work very well until they are re-inserted after I synchronize a later map.

Would appreciate any help. Thank you

Tried Rockbox - which does not solve the problem and has made things even more screwey, so I ended up uninstalling.

Could not rename the volume while I was in auto detecting USB. When I switchedto MSC, external cards get a drive designation and I was able to rename the drive. I did it with only one card so far, but things seem to be working very well - I waa able to exchange with another card non-renommee and it seems to work. Not willing to declare victory yet, but it looks promising.

    Thank you!

  • Fast forward Question

My old Sansa C200 has to listen to you (obviously at a very fast pace) then you were fast shipping.  This has been useful in trying to move forward in a podcast, but not directly to the order of the day.  The Clip + does not seem to support this function.

Is there a configuration item that I missed that will allow for this?

    Thank you.

None of the line of Sansa mp3 players have done this since the advent of the e200v2 series. I (and others) agree that it was a useful tool to fast-forward through commericals in podcasts, etc. but unfortunately he has not been resurrected, that this is due to the lack of compatibility with newer processors or the interests of the development team.

  • Sansa C250 v2 (01.01.05P). microSDHC? update to the latest firmware? Linux questions.

    People of greetings,

just got my refurbished Sansa C250 2 GB. Back to v2. Parameters a 01.01.05P for the version number.

I read somewhere on these forums that even if v2's back, it does not mean necessarily that the player is actually v2. Is this true? How can I tell what version it is?

So should I upgrade to the latest firmware and which?

I plan to buy either a 4 or 8 GB card microSDHC. Advice please.

Anyone who has used linux to update firmware and for all other operations or would I have to use windows?

    Thank you

    Prasad

Well, since nobody answered my questions, I will answer them myself.

As has been said on this forum and others (http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24680), this is the version of the firmware that you use to know the version of your player. Mine is v1. I think another, or should I say a sure way would try to penetrate into the first partition (or the partition to install the firmware) - If your drive is v1, it would be to put your player mode waiting (moved to the rec and orange shows on the left button) press and hold the rec button and plug it into a computer should appear the partition of 16 MB. V2 has a different key sequence.

Since it is highly recommended to upgrade to the latest firmware, I upgraded to 01.01.00P which, by version number appears a downgrade, but it is what is here to... He did bring back the USB menu however.

Since then, I could install Rockbox (http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board/message?board.id=c200&thread.id=3396), I'll go ahead and buy a 8 GB microSDHC card. Will post here when I get it to let you know if it worked or not. I think that should be. This post helped me decide to go ahead and buy it: http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35302.

I used two Fedora-7 and live CD Fedora-9 (on USB) - no problem.

just something I did - I took a return of my entire 2 GB (after formatting the partition of 2 GB to get rid pictures and music that came on the player). used dd if = / dev/sdc. gzip - c > sansaC250. Also saved the first (16 MB) partition dd if = / dev/sdc1. gzip - c > sansaC250part1. I just thought I might be able to use it if I bricked my drive when rockboxing it. I don't know if restore partitions (or the entire disk) is unbrick it at all. Happy had to use it.

  • C 200 1 GB Sansa no storage, even after format; Unable to update software

    Hello

before all sorry for my bad English.

I have some problems with my sansa c 200 1 GB. Lately, the player had no storage, even if there is no songs on this subject. This problem persisted even after format. I went on the forum and that you try to upgrade the drive with new software (because I think it's a software problem). They wrote, there

"Hold the record button until the"new hardware is ready to use"rises, and then press the record button."

It does not, the player is connected to the computer (and does not display 'new hardware is ready for use'). I tried several times but it does not help (a few years ago, I needed a software update and it worked well (so I'm not stupid to push the right buttons); o)

    Thank you for your help,

    kulturkugel

Since it is a C200 try to format using the MP3 itself. Go to settings and under settings, choose the format and we'll see what happens.

    Hope this helps.

  • C200 can overload?

    Hello, everyone.

I recently bought a c240 and use the USB port to charge and transfer files. When I looked online for spare AC (wall outlet) USB Chargers, I found one that says he has a 'smart' chip that recognizes a fully charged battery and goes into screensaver mode to avoid overload. This implies that the c200 relies on this smart adapter to stop loading in full, which would mean that the camera itself is not turned off when the battery is full. If this is the case, then I keep an eye out for a full battery when connected to a PC via USB to avoid overload?

    Any input is greatly appreciated.

Don't know not what is really designed for the USB loader you were looking at, but for all players from Sansa charger has not control loads fancy inside stuff. Sansa players use their own processor to control load and stop to load when the battery is full (be it pluggind in a computer or an external charger).

There's a download link in the Sansa Fuze information General thread stickied at the top of the Board of the rocket.

  • No connection / loading plug by models change Sansa upgrades to their products.

I'm looking at the "rocket" for my first mp3 player.  I want to invest in Accessories for this product that will be usable for future mp3 Sansa players, if I switch to a future model.

Sansa retains the same configuration of plug connectivity to older models like the e260 they use with the "rocket".  Or I will arise to get new sheets of food / fm transmitters / systems of speakers if I stay with the Sansa brand for many years to come.

I hope that if I am the brand Sansa - configuration of the plug will remain consistent as new models come out?  What are the chances?  What has been the recent history of the company?

    Thank you

The c200, e200, and view all use the same connector. I can't be sure of all the others, but I think a few other models use the same connector as well.

  • My Sansa MP3 player does not connect to the Windows Media Player.

I connected several times using the same wires.  This time THAT WMP says "connect a device" in the upper right corner.  This is probably an easy fix.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

    Hi Larry O would be,.

You are able to open content in Sansa?

    Method 1:

  • All-in-One C200 / Win7 allways starts in VGASave mode with the NVIDIA drivers installed

    Hello

I have a problem with a C200 all-in-One (my mother-in-law). Allways Windows 7 starts in VGASave (vga driver regular) mode, but the NVIDIA ION drivers are correctly installed. Device Manager displays the NVIDIA graphics card and drivers installed. It says device is fully functional. I tried several different versions of the NVIDIA driver. The one on the CD drivers, two different from the Lenovo Web site, one that comes with the last windows update and later from NVIDIA. Always the same.

I googled for hours, but found no resolution. Is it possible that the vga driver is set somewhere in the system to be still used, even if the other drivers of work are present (force vga)? This could be a hardware problem? Any other ideas?

    Thanks for any help!

    Best regards

    Helmut

    Hello

Now, I solved the problem. I learned on the net that the C200 all-in-One does not use the NVIDEA graphics card normally. If the integrated Intel graphics card was the problem. The new Intel driver that came with the last Windows Update does not work with the C200. Simply, I installed an earlier version of the Intel driver from lenovo site. Windows now runs the Intel driver correctly. But I have not so far if you never use the NVIDEA, and if it works then.

In the end, I am creating playlists on my Sansa Clip Zip. So I think THAT I have to create a playlist in Windows Media Player and then sync my Sansa Clip Zip. For some reason any I am only able to see 5 playlists, but I know that I have created several of them. In fact, if I try to create a new play list using a name I know, I created, it is said that there are already. How can I see ALL my playlists?

Also, if I click on playlists for the Sansa Clip Zip it shows I have 9 playlists, but I can't see what they contain!
