Sansa disgusted to say goodbye and trouble again

Dear reader,

I'm pretty happy with my new Sansa fuze +. I fIlashed the firware July 2011 today and I'm satisfied with the speedyness using a 32 GB sdhc card firmware fixed (overall responsiveness with cards)

On the question, I'll have... Once the rocket goes off and said goodbye because of inactivity and I press power a few seconds it turns on with the logo and then a black screen. Trying new and same thing. I press a few seconds extra (about 4 seconds), then it turns on normally. Couuld someone enlighten me please as to what may be wrong. : I've used the FYI reset feature.

Is there maybe another way to switch on after saying goodbye and turns off? Some people on the Board of Directors are to mention several presses through the key or that they are wrong?  \\

PS more presses the power button to turn on pass. don't know why on Earth a shorter press would give failiures to turn the drive on

Thank you for your attention.

I've never had this happen before... Have you tried to reinstall the firmware? You can find a firmware download + instructions on how to install the firmware HERE . Do not use the update, because it is quite useless on this drive. Instead, use "manual Firmware Update."
