Satelite L855-10Z: ERROR F3-F200-0002

Hello world!
Recently, I had problem with connection to Win7 in my Satelite L855-10Z. It was not collateral with lost password, etc. There was no news on the false couple login/password. I decided to restore with recovery Toshiba (I've got 5 DVDs) discs. During the restoration everything went well until the Assistant asked me for the next (6th disc, while I have only five ).
Recovery Assistant gave me two options only: 1 - confirm to insert the next disc. 2nd - cancel, so I chose to cancel, and the computer is turned off. I felt that something was wrong...
I turned on the computer, Windows startup screen appeard but has not loaded and after a few seconds, I got Infolog gray color with notice: ERROR: F3-F200-0002.
Does anyone have a similar situation? Could you help me in this problem? What are you proposing to me now to restore my satelite?
I already cheked web links associated with ERROR F3-F200-0002, but had not found stuff to try.

Albert

How to cancel it to start my computer's configuration?

    Hi Taytay,

It seems that recovery couldn t installation finished successfully
Have you ever tried to start installation of HARD drive recovery? Go to the start menu advanced of Windows (F8) once you have turned on the computer and select Repair my computer.

If it doesn't work you have to bring it back to the shop and ask for a replacement.

  • Satellite Pro L500 - F3 - F200 - 0002 ERROR at STARTUP

    Hello

Last night I went to reformat my laptop, to halfway through I thought no I won't do this more then I clicked Cancel. Now whenever I try to turn on my laptop, it just gives me the ERROR saying F3-F200-0002 and won't start. I tried pressing F8 at startup, but there is no option for recovery or repair in the menu mode just safe mode debugging etc.

I was looking at forums and discovered I should press 0 constantly while the laptop boot and it will bring up recovery Wizard. Anyway, when I do this it says HARD drive recovery mode, then said Windows is loading files, then it goes to a page saying ERROR F3-FF00-0006.

I was told to download this file (http://209.167.114.38/support/techsupport/tsbs/all/-TSB001522.htm) but I don't know how to run it on my laptop which is broken (I'm on my computer of nans for the moment). I tried to put it on a USB key and mortising the USB in, but it won't work.

I need urgent assistance that I use my laptop for my work (I work from home, using laptop computer). We have a lot to say if you could help me fix it at home, I have no money at the moment to be able to get a recovery disk or send the computer for professionals to fix store.

P.S. I'm on Windows7 and my laptop is a Toshiba Satellite Pro L500.

As I know the installation of recovery should not be interrupted. If you do you not have access to the wizard of recovery more. Now, all you can do is install image recovery using recovery DVDs.

If you have created a? Otherwise you can order under https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

Otherwise that you can try to install the version of the OS if you have the original installation disc for Microsoft.
You know, now the situation is quite complicated.

By the way: in another ad with the description of the similar problem some people wrote that this error message can be caused by damaged HARD drive. I can't confirm this, but anything is possible.

  • Satellite L505-S5990-F3-F200-0002 error recovery disc

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite L505-S5990 and I had to do a system restore. I ordered the recovery of Toshiba and equip the number one disc discs. It took me to the Toshiba Recovery Wizard, I used the option completely format the hard drive, all partitions of wiping then in market and so fourth. I put in disc 2 when you are prompted, and click Next. Everything was fine until the end, when I received an error code F3-F200-0002 at which time the only option was to click on next, then the system would be closed. I then tried restoring this time using the default options to factory restore on the restore disc. I put in disc 2 when you are prompted and click Next. Then, I received the error once again at the end of the restoration.

    What can I do now?

    Hi DustinB22,

I had a similar problem last month that the recovery disk didn't work correctly. First I thought that the discs are not ok (striped), but then I used a Microsoft Windows disk to format the HARD drive first. After that, I tried again the Toshiba Recovery disk and it worked now!
So you should try that too. As I have written, you can use a Microsoft disk to format the HARD disk or another tool. Maybe it works

If this isn't the case, you can also install Windows on this drive from Microsoft.
    Check this box!

    Hello
Maybe someone can help me with an error code 0001, 0002 problem I installed a Canon Pixma MX455 printer to my Windows 8 PC by LAN network and all is well. Then I tried to install it on my Windows 7 wife's PC by using the CD Canon but gor the error message above. I contacted Canon who advised to uninstall the old drivers and installation using this link

I used GhostBuster to uninstall the old drivers and tried the link but got the same error code message. I contacted Canon once again, but they siad, it must be a mistake by Microsoft and communicate with you. I should add that the device appears on the PC of my wife as a device, but "not configured properly".

  • NB200-10Z - error when opening recovery disk creator

I try to use the "recovery disk creator" to create a recovery on a USB disk rather than to burn CD/DVD (don't have an available CD drive). I think it's supposed to be achievable, see http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=230453. However the help file (C:/Program Files/Toshiba/TOSHIBA Recovery Disc Creator/TrdcHelp.html) for "Recovery disc creator" makes no mention of the use of USB keys.

I have a 8 GB USB key. I tried formatting FAT32 and NTFS.

When I try to open the "Recovery disk creator" program I get a window saying 'another application is using that drive or no recordable discs are recorded on your PC. Please check the State of the reader. "So I can't start the program 'Recovery disc creator' Version is 2.0.0.3.

I formatted the USB incorrectly? Must be formatted as a starting BACK, if so, which are the files I need to do to? I need a newer version of 'Recovery disc creator' to do with USBs - if so someone can suggest a link where to find them? I couldn't find a link to the version 1.0.0.6c here http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/downloadDetail.jsp?soid=2350909 &; pf = true

I'm incorrect in assuming that I can use a USB key? Its a NB200-10Z with XP SP3.
Auggestions or links to other popular forum posts. My apologies if I missed a previous thread on this!

    Hello

Recovering files can be created on a USB key, too, but if you can t begins the recovery media creator due an error message that it has nothing to do with your USB key.

I read the other post on the forum you mentioned and the guy has disabled his security software (antivirus and firewall). Have you tried the same thing? Some security programs blocks some programs so disable the software and try again.

Recovery disc creator can t be downloaded but what you can do if it still doesn t work done a HARD drive recovery facility. This will restore the initial configuration prétestées and then you can try again to create the USB stick recovery. :)

  • Satellite L650-S5096 - error when installing recovery

My brother ordered me this laptop online from Best Buy for my Christmas present in Dec.2010. After I opened and he started upward, I did then the system backup disc as it was told to do. I showed that I needed to 4 discs for back to the top after the fourth disc, he said that it was over. OK, so now I know that I've saved it in addition to the recovery partition also.

So, last month, I wanted to do a restore of the system on this laptop. So I pulled out the 4 disks and put in the first and he did his thing and then asked for the 2nd and so on. Then after the fourth was done he said to put in the next disc, but I don't have a fifth backup drive. He had me only use 4 when I got it to save.

And then abandoned on the problem of disk and restarted and I got to the recovery partition. So after that I started the process by clicking ok for all the warnings about everything will be deleated I arrived at the first installation process, then after five minutes, he went to the next process where it says "Copy files" and after 30 seconds or so, a box appears asking to insert the next disc.

So I called Toshiba and talked about using technology, and they told me to unplug everything on the laptop and then turn it over and remove the battery for a minute. And then reconnect the power cord and then put the battery in and turn on the computer.
So after she started upward he went to the BIG WARNING page on everything will be lost and deleated so I cliked next and next through the next coupld of no, then it poped an error message that says (error: F3-F200-0002).

After repeating the process a few times the same thing continues to be. So when I talked to Jasmine on 11/06/2011 from technical support, she told me I can call Monday 13 and ask for the case manager and that she would approve that they send me a recovery disk free presence that is the disk does not copy at the moment where I followed it there Backup Wizard and he recovery partition is messed up. So I called the case manager today, and Doug told me that I have to pay to get the recovery disk.

In my view, it's very bad customer service and I will never buy another thing from Toshiba again. And I will make all my colleagues and friends know that I went thru with this laptop...

    Hello

I always was pleased the service in my country.
However, I think you had some bad luck with the recovery procedure
In my case, I was able to create the successfully recovery disk and everything was ok I ve also recovered the laptop once using the recovery of HARD drive and it worked too

However, new recovery disc can be ordered here: http://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx
It s not expensive: 30 Euros

  • NB300 - Windows not genuine message

I have a 2 GB of ram, the origin of the bios nb300 v 1.5 that worked. Recently, I got windows message not
authentic, I then tried to restore the computer to the State of the box, using media, created to
first commissioning, when I bought NB300 and now get an error F3-F200-0002 (only option
Click OK to disable), I tried a new hard drive (Toshiba agent recommended) same results
(error F3-F200-0002 etc.), Toshiba has no other thoughts.

    Any ideas please.
    Thank you.

    I found a similar thread - http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=62208

I also think that it may be the image of a HARD drive or recovery problem.

If possible, try to get the original Microsoft installation disc and test so you will be able to install the OS using this disc.

  • CD1 Satellite A200 poster 10-FC06-0002 error recovery

    Sorry for my English.

I use my recovery CD1 and after 10 minutes an error error 10-fc06-0002 of writing. I want to just restore like new with Vista.

    What should do?
    I have the Satellite A200-AH8
    Thank you

    Hello

To be honest, I don't see a lot of different solutions. In my opinion, it may be problem with support for recovering damaged or HARD drive.
Enter the BIOS settings, set the defaults and try to reinstall Vista. If the same thing happen again contact nearest Toshiba authorized maintainer and explain the situation. I'm sure they can test with another CD of recovery or test with the other HARD drive.

  • 10-FC06-0002 - HARD drive recovery disc error load XP and Windows 7 very well

OK, so I have a Toshiba laptop I want to restore because I had used it for school and he had a lot of things about what I didn't need and turned slowly. Rather than take things one by one, I thought it would be better to start from scratch. I jumped in the recovery discs, I created, restarted the computer and booted from the DVD. I have chosen all the settings to restore the computer to out-of-the-box settings and a time window that says «copy files please wait...» "After that the screen disappeared after 10 minutes or so, another window flashes on the screen for a split second (has not yet the chance to see what it was) and then an error window pops up error 10-FC06-0002. The only thing I can do is shut down my computer, and it does not start after that. After trying several times, I decided to come here.

I know what you say. "Before coming here, search or something, there are tons of problems like that here." Well, I'm looking, and all the results told me to "make a copy of your drive and see if it works, if not its your HARD drive ' tried to make an exact copy of the disk using a tool to copy DVD of Google, no dice. I tried copy the files from the disc on the desktop on disk, did not work. Copied files on an old thumb drive and booted from it. The same problem. Make one. ISO disk image and it has burned, triggered the error as well. No matter how I try to run the restore files, the same error message prevails. This would point to the hard drive being broken, correct? This is where I get lost, Windows XP installs flawlessly and works faster that any other computer I used it, as well as Windows 7 beta does.

    -------

Does anyone know a fix to this error so I can restore my computer? Should I order new disks of recovery at Toshiba? How much do cost?

    -------

I created these recovery disks about a week after the computer is turned on for the first time. The only software on the subject was the preloaded software, Mozilla Firefox, and MSN Messenger. These two programs would have caused corrupted recovery discs to bring?

THANKS FOR ANY HELP IN ADVANCE! : D

    -----------

EDIT: Should probably tell you some info on the laptop. It is a Toshiba A200 - AH6, try to restore Windows Vista recovery disks created in the Toshiba Recovery Manager.

    Hello!

To me it sounds like it's your Toshiba Recovery disk is noisy or something else. It seems that the disc can't be read properly.
I doubt that s a hardware issue because you tried a XP and Windows 7 disk successfully.
But as Akuma says that this can happen also due a poor quality DVD media.

In any case, I think you need to order a new drive Toshiba Recovery directly.

Finally and above all the software that you have installed (Firefox and MSN) didn t cause corrupted recovery disk. Theoretically, you can install what you want before you create the recovery disk. The recovery disk creator burning a disc bootable with the files in the folder HDDrecovery on the second partition. All programs that you have installed must be installed after recovery again.

    Good bye

  • MTD-0002 error

TI 1520 card reader works fine with 256 MB PCMCIA cards. I can start with the card in the drive and the drive appears in my computer properly as a removable disk. XP Pro with Service Pack 3. Device Manager shows two entries 'Texas Instruments PCI-1520 CardBus Controller.

But there is a problem with 2 GB PCMCIA cards. On a cold reboot, there is an error of MTD-0002 and the card is not recognized. Poster "PCMCIA MTD-0002" Device Manager Device Manager displays also the two headings 'Texas Instruments PCI-1520 CardBus Controller. Eject the fact of the map that the "PCMCIA MTD-0002" disappear from the Device Manager and reinsert allow the card to be recognized as a removable disk. After a reboot hot, the card is always properly recognized as a remoovable drive. A reboot cold you're the only time when the problem occurs. It is on a remote PC so eject and reinsert the card on a cold reboot are not practical.

    Hi rarhodes,

If you receive an error of MTD-0002 or other unknown PC Card problem this means that the BIOS is unable to allocate the resources of memory to the card.
A mismatch occurred causing the PC to be badly detected card. There is an upgrade of the BIOS Basic Input Output System () that deals with this issue of the OEM/computer manufacturer.

Contact the manufacturer for the same thing.
