  I have a serious problem; I use my laptop for the last 3 years with no problems, but since yesterday, it the BSOD every time you try to play flash videos or youtube. Finally, I reinstalled the 32-bit version of Windows Vista from the recovery of the product back up drive after I lost all my data, guess what the problem has not disappeared.   Generally speaking, it is not easy to say why this happens, but if you have already tried a restore of the Toshiba Recovery disk system and the problem still exists, it looks like more of a hardware malfunction. The recovery disk contains a pre-tested picture to factory settings, so everything should work correctly in the case otherwise it seems to be a hardware problem.

  But he s strange why this happens only with videos. What you might try before contacting an authorized service provider is updated the display driver. Have a look at the Toshiba website, if a newer version is available for your laptop.

  I m not quite sure what could be the reasons for this problem but as far as I know, you can assign the different parameters of basic installation of Power Saver, which could affect the performance of the laptops.
  For example; Control method of the CPU, the processing speed of the CPU, cooling method.

  Please check what power profile was chosen after that the AC adapter is plugged in and if necessary modify some parameters mentioned above.

  I have the Satellite A200 too preinstalled with recovery DVDs. I was very curious and I tested it on my laptop. In my case everything was OK. Through the use of headphones, Laptop speakers are automatically TURNED off. Remove helmet speakers work again.

  There is no magic solution to such problems. BSOD can be caused by different things, but I assume that, in your case, it is caused by some software. Have you installed third party software?

  If you know the day when it happened for the first time try to roll down the operating system to an earlier time using System Restore tool.

  so, I write these verses down for anyone who might know the same problems:

  as usual, strictly follow the 'Toshiba A200 Installation sequence' found on the TOshiba driver download page.

  After that, XP automatically detects ALL audio devices and install the correct drivers.
