Hi again, I don't understand why the previous thread was suddenly blocked :|

To answer last post by PauPau of the thread:

(1) Hi PauPau, 1st of all thank you for your response.
(2) I think that you only read (or understand) 10 words of my post. I of course said that + I * was * of course, this problem is caused by overheating. +
(3) maybe you're right, maybe, I don't am not applied tech for laptop, but if you think that someone who can disassemble their own laptop for cleansing the air duct, or change the thermal paste itself or upgrading all laptops parts itself as a tech literate notebook, so I don't know who else is.

In fact, I am a COMPUTER professional who is very literate with PC and Notebook Hardware/Software troubleshooting. I did that for about 10 years since high school. So yes, I know that not only all of the brand, but most of the computers (PC & Notebook) will react this way to overheat. The problem is, I already look at the temperature of my CPU, and I know that the correct behavior is a system automatically extinguish itself to avoid damage caused by each time will overheat the scope of heat one * certain * level, which, in a system of this level is still manageable. But in this case, it happens randomly.

I repeat once again, it happens * RANDOMLY *. Sorry to be a bit much, I want to just make sure I'm clear. I'm sure we all will really appreciate a solution or at least of any attempt to examine more in detail on this issue.

Best regards
kocu

Hi dude

Thanks for the comments. He appreciated s.

It s not necessary to disassemble what whether to clean the fans and cooling grids, a jet of compressed air can be used.
These aerosols can be bought from the other computer dealers.

But of course, this procedure can be used only to remove dust and debris.
If the laptop overheats, for different reasons, then a certified maintainer Toshiba should be contacted.

Is that not a laptop overheating.
If this problem still persists after removing dust, then it should consider if this is not a hardware problem. Right?
Well, in such cases, it is always difficult to say what could be the problem until the pieces of equipment have been verified. Right?
So I t see any other solution as to contact a technician and asking for an audit of the material.

  • Satellite A200 keeps turning off

    Hi people.
I too have a satellite A200. It is about 2 years old and keeps the decommissioning. Sometimes it turns off if physically moved - for example from a tower in a table. Sometimes it connects again once you put it in hibernation/standby mode by quickly pressing the power button. When I try and start it again in another quick, press the power button, nothing happens about half the time. In this situation when the laptop is in mode 'sleep' the only way to switch is again by removing the battery and then start again. Then it comes up with an error message about an improper closing of windows, giving you the possibility of opening in Mode safe. You lose nothing as you work, so it's a real pain.

It disappeared twice for repair, but they can't find the problem so I did a Google search and found this forum. It would be good to know more than all expertise - especially to Toshiba.

If the laptop turns off automatically, then this can be linked to a higher temperature in most cases but not always, this is the reason.
Dust or debris clogged the ventilation openings, which leads to a higher temperature.

In addition, the dry thermal grease which is placed between the CPU and the cooling module can be that the reason for this in such a case, the thermal paste should be renewed

It's certainly a job for a technician for laptop

  • Re: Satellite L350D-131 keeps power off during use

I got my Satellite L350D-131 28 days and it's been great, but on the last 48 hours I tried to add music to my laptop for when I go to college next week.
But he keeps turn off use environment, there is no consistency about why it's power off.

    Can anyone help?

    Hello

It is new laptop and something like that should not happen under normal circumstances.
The question is how you use your laptop. If the laptop is placed on the bed and the cooling fan is blocked I guess this happens due to overheating.

The laptop is placed on the desktop when this happens?
Are you sure that the underside cooling fan is not blocked somehow?

  • Satellite A200 just turns off

I have a satellite A200 that keeps turning off...

first of all, it wouldn't start up, so removed the battery and plugged directly to AC and then it started again.

Now, he just stops... It seems to be not too hot...

What are the problems and solutions...

Computer is 19 months old and it's very frustrating...

    Hello

In most cases, the blocked cooling modules are the reason for the higher temperature and why the laptop turns off automatically.
You could clean the vents and cooling fans with a jet of compressed air.
This would remove the dust inside the laptop.

    Welcome them

  • Satellite A200 - denying power to the top

Hi, we have a Satellite A200 that worked very well until the last time we it turned off (from the start menu). Now he simply refuses to be able to save - seeing power line turn on once it's in, but that's all.

    Any tips?

    Thank you

    Joseph

I have a tip for you, but I m not very good if it will work.
However, it s worth a try.

First, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter.
Then, you need to wait some time (1 hour).

Then connect the power adapter to the computer (try it with & without the battery)
Crossed their fingers and try to turn on the machine.

    Good luck

  • Satellite A200 - screen turns off without reason

I have a Satellite A200-E530D on Windows Vista Home Premium. For a month, I had something strange happening on my computer, shortly after the start, the screen turns off. without good reason! the only option I have is hard to system boot and everythings... Although a few times after the restart he still went.

I tried to upgrade to the last poster of drivers (I have an Nvidia Geforce Graphics card 7300 Go with 128 MB of VRAM)

Another weird thing, Vista SP1 does not install on my machine. tried to uninstall my Anti virus, but that did not help either one.

Can anyone shed light on my dark screen?

    Hello!

You have the same problem on an external monitor?
I m not sure if it s a display problem, mother or software card

Do you have what display driver installed? You have downloaded the driver from the Web from Toshiba site?

  • Satellite Pro A200 (PSAE4E) - power off when the AC adapter is connected

I bought this laptop for my wife about 2 years, since about 6 months ago, that the laptop was randomly shut off without warning, this only seems to happen while the power supply is connected as well.

I have read several other posts on other sites with people having similar problems.

There are various suggested corrections, you must disable the duel core in the bios so that it works only on one heart and he spend dynamic low for fans. I did this about 2 hours ago and touchwood not a single switch off again. This however is not an acceptable solution, there is obviously much more slowly.

Another suggestion has been updated the bios, I downloaded it now but am very worried to run it, this laptop can stop at any moment, lasting from a few minutes to a few hours. If it stops while updating to bios, I doubt that it would be good news. I don't want to make it work on the single core for the rest of the day/night to see if its stable and then go for it.

Before that, can I make a call to the toshiba helpline, I read on the forums that this is as well a defect of design within the laptop and there's a reminder of some of the laptops in the Canada, I do not know how it rings true but still a concern to read and might be unacceptable to the owners of the A200.

Others have advised that it is an overheating problem, it's that I reject, I running SpeedFan and showing a stable 47 temp and it allows to switch off the coast immediately when turned on, yes it could be due to dust build up, something I checked and cleared, it did not a difference for the frequent switch offs.

Im not too well why it is only when the power supply is connected, I have not tried a different PSU, but those who have had the same problem try this and it has not solved the problem.

When I unplug my power as well the battery seems last mabye 5 minutes at the most.

Overall, Im very unhappy all this, toshiba is a brand of 'high' where you expect better quality and pay for it.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know, would be also good to hear talk of toshiba support on the issue.

    Hmmmmm... interesting.

  • Satellite A200 will turn off by itself continuously

    Hello

I have a problem with my laptop because it stops itself constantly, having used internet for 30 minutes, or immediately after launching a major program like photoshop or autocad or a game.

I spotted that it also runs very hot fast in a few minutes could be related? What could be the problem?

    Hi mate.

Quest - what? I think I know what could cause this problem.
I think that it s associated with high temperature. The CPU and the GPU create a lot of heat while running a powerful software (app chart, games, etc.).
Eventually, the cooling modules can cool the CPU because of dust.

Remove dust from the cooling fans and the grids using a jet of compressed air.
This tool is very useful and can be bought from different merchants online.

Recently the adapter (black box on the AC power cord) on my satellite P100 began to whistle and does not charge the laptop, the machine worked that for about an hour and a half, then don't would not have thought that it was getting hot,

    any thoughts?

    Hello

For me, it looks like a malfunction of AC adapter.
I think that the cable must be broken, due to the fact that the adapter keeps whistling.

I can give you only one advice; the adapter needs to be replaced!
In this case, you should contact the ASP in your country and should ask for help.

I m guys has can help you.

OK, I got an old laptop is a Toshiba A200-AH1 it is work very well then just... stop the IT Tech wannabe in my hometown, said that it was the external power adapter so we bought a brand new one now all what it flashes... Blink rate is more or less stable at flashing of the fight 2 per second

    Please help me

    Hello

To my knowledge, the power LED flashes only if an error has been detected on the motherboard.

I think you should contact the service provider authorized Toshiba to know what is the problem exactly with your laptop.

I think that the technician of the ASP has more experience with Toshiba laptops as a common wannabe IT technician.

  • Satellite A110 ranging power off when it is hot

My Satellite A110 is always turned off when it's hot.

What is the problem? Mayby fan? Can I change this?

    Hello!

    You hear a fan noise?

Maybe you should clean the laptop. For this, you can use compressed air jet and could blow the dust from the fan. You n t have to disassemble anything.

And try to find out if the fan works.

I have a problem where my laptop suddenly turns off without any reason at all. Most of the time it turns itself in the upper left corner of my laptop get really hot and it's too hot around the area where you insert the CD. Although, sometimes it can only leave after I ve had lit a few minutes.

Some suggestions say that there could be a problem with the cooling system or the fan.

Please can someone offer me advice or suggestions?
Please help as I had only the laptop to 18 months now and she probably shouldn't t do it suits it?

    Hello

I think you're already on the right track. 18 months is a long period of collecting dust so it could just be overheating. Check the intakes for the dust.
I've seen suggestions to use a vacuum cleaner to suck up dust from the mouths of - I would not recommend myself because there is a chance that the fan may be damaged, but it could be a way for you.

  • Laptop keeps power off

    Hello

Turns off my laptop itself - its only when I play games online etc.  My pc is not overheating - I had this problem before and it is thanks to my pc thinking it was slowed while it shuts.  I forgot how to fix this, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    2 suggestions:

    1. launch a verification of the file system which consists in finding corrupted files, and if he finds trying to fix them.

Start button > Search box type cmd > look up, do a RIGHT click on cmd.exe > click on Run As Administrator > in this window cmd black and white, type at the prompt flashing sfc/scannow > press the ENTER key.
Note: there is a space between
    'sfc' and ' / '.
To sit and wait. It will take time.
When finished, exit the cmd window.
    Reboot (restart your computer)

    2. create another account with exactly the same type of account.
Logon to this new account. The same problem persists?
If not, your old account could be damaged.
Here is the link to show you what to do with a damaged user profile (account):
