  I too have a satellite A200. It is about 2 years old and keeps the decommissioning. Sometimes it turns off if physically moved - for example from a tower in a table. Sometimes it connects again once you put it in hibernation/standby mode by quickly pressing the power button. When I try and start it again in another quick, press the power button, nothing happens about half the time. In this situation when the laptop is in mode 'sleep' the only way to switch is again by removing the battery and then start again.   I bought this laptop for my wife about 2 years, since about 6 months ago, that the laptop was randomly shut off without warning, this only seems to happen while the power supply is connected as well.
