  I also have the white screen problem and I would like to update my bios to version 1.30, it came with.
  The problem I have is that I have a number of room A210 model PSAFGC.

  The Satellite * A210 PSAFGC * series seems to be a Toshiba * Canadian * series and I would recommend checking the Canadian driver Toshiba page if you want to download the compatible BIOS for your laptop.

  I was updating of the Bios on my A210 when the laptop stopped yourself during the upgrade (possible overheating problem) and now it wont start at all as bios is lost.
  Any ideas how to get back there to wake up? There the reset on the M/B bios?

  It seems that add-on ROM BIOS was flashed incorrectly in this case that the Rom module must be flashed once more using the disc of crisis of the BIOS.

  Hi all

  Really hoping someone can help me with this.

  My old HDD not was not so I cloned the entire disc before it failed. -Just in time, too.

  I ordered a new drive - it's a WD scorpio black - Advanced format.

  Unfortunately I can't get my picture on this new album.

  Also, I am unable to do a reinstall with the original restore also cd because it doesn't have service pack 1 and that means that it can't recognize the HD.

  In any case id prefer to be able to restore my image and not make a re-install when even if possible.

  So my question is this:

  Y at - it an update of the bios I can ask my another pc version 2.00 is available which will include options to change the options of ide drive - ahci?

  It's the only solution I can think of-bearing in mind I do not have an operating system installed, so the alignment tools are not an option as another fix. -Fast technology of storage Intel drivers do not work, because I have an AMD athlon processor.

  So is there any BIOS I can Flash my computer with to activate the options mentioned?

  I have a method to Flash the bios with a BONE, so this isn't a problem.

  Also other suggestions for workaround on this more than welcome.

I downloaded the package to update the bios twice now, but although method 1 seems closest to you, there is that there is no file "BIOS" (Windows batch file) (BIOS.bat). in the package.   My Satellite A210-16F (PSAELE) * still works with 800 MHz instead of 1.9 GHz *-even though I select the profile of full power. I reinstall Windows, but it did not help :/ Core temp tells me only 50 C temperature.
  If I try to run one last game it detect CPU at 800 MHz and output... His power profile not only hurt I think...

  Check the settings of the processor first and see if you can change something there.

  You can use the drivers released for other series of mobile phones that support Win 7.
  LAN, WLan, BT, driver sound driver touchpad are model independent and should work on you A210 too.

  Also I recommend that you install VAP (value added package) and Flash Card Utility for Win 7 Support. You can find it in Satellite L500 for example.

  I installed Win 7 on my A210 and everything works fine.

  For the PSAELE are not display XP drivers available, but you can try the driver for another model A210. It should work too!

  Hi, I bought a Satellite A210-16f. I did the downgrade to XP Professional... Everything works fine, but I burn cds, dvdcs, audiocds can´t...
  I don't know if its problem of HW or SW problem... In Vista home I didn't try to burn a CD, because I reinstalled it XP.

  I use Nero 8, but after 3% of burn it show me error and Burning process failed
  Nero 7 shows me the same.

  I tried Toshiba disc creator and this SW shows me this:

  Well, either it's a question madia or CD/DVD drive problem.
  Check another CD and DVD from different manufacturers.
  If the same thing happens to what different types of media, then it s a STRANGE HW issue.

  In my case, sometimes it software Adobe acrobat reader crashes and I have to manually close this process (in the Task Manager).

  I'm looking for info on my laptop satellite who died after a bios update.

  Model is A210-FS3 (PSAFGC-FS308C)... bios uncertain.

  I updated this laptop about 6 months ago (been dormant since) through windows7 beta (I know bad idea)... after he stop it came back never to life... He does not POST... Power light just blinks.

  Is there a way to fix this without having to replace the motherboard? I read how to do this with a USB floppy, but it seems sketcky to me.

  I think that the replacement of the motherboard is not necessary (in most cases).
  Maybe the ROM module has been flashed properly.
  In this case, the BIOS has to be flashed using the crisis procedure but as far as I know, this can be done by an ASP.
