  I have the problem that after I moved from the Spain to the Thailand now my Toshiba Satellite A200-1FL randomly turns off.
  This only seems to happen when it is connected with AC - with battery I have it is not happened again although I can't rule out it.

  After some time of work (sometimes only 10 minutes, sometimes up to 2 hours) the laptop just shuts off-as if I would unplug the unit without the battery inserted.   I don't know about electricity here in Thailand - but it seems 220V and they do not use the Earth (at least at the point where I am).
