Hello

That you get an error in the Device Manager?

Let us know the status of the keyboard in the Device Manager when you start the computer.

Try to check any error in the Device Manager and check if it helps.

I would suggest also looking for the error records audit and Event Viewer if it helps.

You could try to update the WLan driver in most cases this helps
The BIOS update would also be desirable if a newer BIOS is available on the European driver Toshiba page.

My brush sometimes loses momentum in the form of a sudden, so I get a blob in paint and then it continues with the work of shape dynamics.  I don't know where to start looking to solve this problem.  I use Windows7 Open active Gl CS5 and have my cache and memory higher than the standard recommendations in the cases where this rule is part of the problem.

    Any ideas to fix this?

    Thank you.

This is the case, I think, where you really don't want pilots to be up-to-date.

Something very similar to what you state is shown here from time to time.  Workaround seems to be to go to the Wacom site and download slightly older drivers 6.15.

  • Holding Down key shift key while playing WoW on Vista crashes my keyboard, requiring a restart until I can do anything.

Maybe this is associated with intellitype. The problem has changed for the worse:

OLD PROBLEM: I hold down the SHIFT key and automatically be alt-tabs of WoW to any dialogue you wanted to know about my now shift. I would have to alt - tab in WoW, which is a problem when you are healing during a raid.

SO: The dialog box had a link with some options as to when to do something special in the SHIFT key. I unchecked all. I don't remember the details of the dialog box, but I thought it was IntelliSomething. I don't know how to take revenge on this dialog box.

NEW PROBLEM: Now when I hold the SHIFT key for a long time in WoW, my keyboard doesn't work. I hear a 'click' when using any key, but nothing works. ALT-tab will not work, because those keys. When I close WoW via the mouse, the keyboard is always watered, I can't use any program. Restart resolves the issue until the next time.

BTW: In World of Warcraft, hold down the SHIFT key during the inspection of a piece of equipment compared to the equipment you are wearing at the time. If you do this a lot.

  • Sometimes my keyboard stops responding when you use Photoshop CS6, & I have to restart

Since I've upgraded to Photoshop CS6, I found that every one time from time to time the keyboard not responding.  I can't tell if something specific that I'm doing it triggers, but I will be editing an image and press a shortcut key and find that it doesn't work. This does not happen when I first open an image, but usually after that I worked for a while. As far as I can tell (it's pretty random) it seems to happen when I use a tool to apply an effect to an image, like this last time, it happened when I used the Spot Healing Brush several times on a photograph. (Of course it could be correlation without causation, since I'm a big fan of the Spot Healing Brush and tend to use a little whenever I'm editing photos). Note that the modifier keys still work, but all the letters and the keys do not respond.

Sometimes - and lately it seems that it always happens, there is a sound associated with the shut-off valve.  It is possible that the times I heard the noise, I had my speakers.  It's a short clicking noise - and I don't think that's it integrated alert sounds on my Mac, because I just listened to each other and I remember that noise is different - but the sound is certainly coming from my speakers and is not a mechanical noise from the machine.  I don't know what could be causing this. I saw someone complaining about this a couple of years, who thought it might have to do with a Wacom tablet. I own one, but do not always use it, and what happens even when I'm not using it.  The only way I found to get my keyboard answer again is close Photoshop and restart.

I'm on a Macbook Pro 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7 with 8 GB of Ram. I'm on OS X 10.7.4 (not quite ready for Mountain Lion).

Okay - looks like I solved my problem after a few hours looking for related problems on the web.  It is not a problem with Photoshop but with Mac OS X.  The mouse and trackpad 'Universal access' default preferences are set to "Press the Option five times to enable or disable MouseKeys." So, when I use a tool that I'm editing with the option key, key and I repeatedly use it five times in a row, I hear the rattling which means "Mouse keys" lights (and disable the regular keys). Turn this option off, and the problem is solved!

I have an old ps2 keyboard, I am trying to connect to my laptop (Pavilion g6) but cannot find how to do the bios to accept connections from the ps2.

Is there anyway that I can avoid the replacement of the keyboard?

This clickykeyboards site connected by banhien is very informative. Who knew is just as complex? The key point is that the keyboard has to be initiated at a level very low until the operating system loads even. The old right via adapters do not necessarily work with all PS2 keyboards. raymondobas watched by replacing just the keyboard on the laptop? It's probably cheaper and easier than you think.

    Hello

-For how long have you had the problem?
-Did you change on your computer before the show?

I recommend you to follow these steps and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

Test the issue in safe mode.

    Step 2:

If the problem persists in safe mode, I suspect the possibility of a conflict of software of third party causing the problem to occur. I suggest that you start your computer in a clean boot State.

  • eHome receiver sometimes does not work after restarting

Sometimes my Receiver USB ehome stops working after a reboot, and it has the most recent drivers from Microsoft that is the only driver for the device. I use it with Windows Media Center, and sometimes it doesn't work after reboot, or after the release of sleep. I tried to disable USB suspend but which did not work.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft Community.

It should be the following information so that we can help you further:

What happens to the eHome USB receiver when the system restarts or wake mode 'sleep'? It gives you an error message, or simply, it does not?

Verify that all devices are connected to the USB.

Try to uninstall and reinstall eHome receiver and check if this solves

Remove the pilot of transmitter/receiver infrared (IR) of the Windows Device Manager to force Windows to reinstall the driver. You don't have to restart the computer when you perform this procedure. To remove the pilot of transmitter/receiver infrared in the Windows Device Manager, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, right-click my computer, and then click Properties.
    2. In the hardware tab, click Device Manager.
    3. Expand Human Interface devices.
    4. Double-click Microsoft eHome infrared transceiver.
    5. On the tab driver , click Uninstall, and then click OK
    6. Disconnect the IR receiver to the computer.
    7. Wait 30 seconds, and then reconnect the IR receiver. Windows the receiver automatically detects and installs the appropriate driver.

In addition, update the last chipset and drivers USB of the manufacturer's Web site.

Check in the BIOS if no energy saving option is enabled for the USB ports:

    1. Restart the computer.
    2. When the manufacturer logo to enter the BIOS settings, press "F2" . (The exact key may vary and is usually displayed on the screen for the system to start).
    3. Go to the "Integrated Peripherals" menu using the arrow keys. If your BIOS does not have a menu on-board devices, select "Advanced BIOS Features".
    4. Select "USB controller" using the arrow keys and press 'Enter' to change the setting of "disabled" to "Enabled". Once disabled, the computer does not recognize USB devices when connected.
    5. Press "F10" to save the settings and exit the BIOS.

Note: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

I hope this helps. Please get back with the results.

  • Fedora 'customization' - hostname is incorret until restart

    Hi all

Summary: I have an image of Fedora 13 model VM Lab Manager 4.0.0 and when I deploy a child VM from the model (active customization) deployed child VM does not recognize its new host name until it is restarted again.

Details: After re deployment / boot (where VMware Tools does its thing), the configuration file "/ etc/sysconfig/network" is correct (name and details of intellectual property), but "hostname" of the system is always the same as the parent template. It is not until the VM is restarted again that the new name is recognized.

Could someone please help me understand why this is the case? Our RHEL images work perfectly every time (IE new name once completed the customization process).

    Thank you very much

    cwilso

    cwilso,

    > Could someone please help me understand why this is the case?

Outside of Fedora being taken not supported for personalization of Lab Manager?  If the customization is completed as planned, the question isn't really of VMware.  It is the Fedora project.  They may require a reboot to change the name of the host or other restrictions, but it is for Fedora to decide.

The Script in the Lab Manager is specially designed for Red Hat, not all of the knock offs (unbreakable, CentOS, Fedora etc).

As a simple solution, you can configure a PostScript of personalization that will restart the virtual computer after customization is finished.
