  I have updated all the updates Toshiba including the 2.50 bios update.

  Problem
  When left alone for s short period of time, my system crashes, although my mouse moves again. Click anywhere on the screen or by using the keyboard does not seem to get back to work. The only way I can then use my laptop is to do a hard reboot by holding the button power for 5 seconds.

  My system seems to work very well as long as I don't stop using the mouse or the keyboard.
  The time between when I finally used the computer and when it hangs can range from 5 minutes to 10 hours.

  I disabled all the parameters of energy saving, including the video recording without success.

  Can someone help me with this problem?

  I had my L775-119 Satellite in 2011. Recently, I noticed that it will crash when I am in charge when started in Windows, especially when video plays online, when I unplug the charger, the fan slows down and act normal.

  I m confused about your message.
  When the laptop stick? Only when the AC adapter is connected or also when running on battery?

  Since this is not clear to me if it's a software or a hardware related issue, I recommend you test the laptop using factory settings. I mean that you should retrieve the laptop to factory state using the recovery disk.

  Run a few tests and post comments.

• Why my new macbook air does not freeze when watching videos on Youtube?

  I bought the Macbook Air a few weeks ago and all I have installed MS office and nothing else.

  The problem is when I watch videos on Youtube, the macbook freezes for more than 20 minutes. (I always have to stop it at this point or an earlier version so I don't know if the screen release after 20 minutes)

  Sorry I come here to find this thread, but... I'm having similar problems and I want to give an overview to help you...

  My GF a210-1This (PSAELE) keeps having this weird crashes at times keys and I, who am a user experienced PC and convenience store, do not know why... and it's killing me!

  Version 2.00 of BIOS. As said, no other bios located on the toshiba support site. (Question - what is the original bios?)

  The computer hangs:

  1 at the start (just at the beginning)
  2 in the case of access to the BIOS
  3 when we take too much selection screen of the navigation time OS / F8 / boot options screen

  When 5 hybernating

  The computer hangs:

  1 when it becomes very hot, which happens more times should be.

  The computer does not crash:

  1 when it staarts to load the operating system

  Because of these symptoms, I'm afraid to even try to reinstall the OS using recovery disc/partition and havin this guy stop unexpectedly during the process... considering that it works normally when it starts. but it is really annoying, especially because we like to use hybernation and we cannot!

  Under windows, I performed multiple tests on the hard drive and it seems ok, I'm not sure but I guess I also ran a memory test a few months and they can't find anything weird (or it also crashed?).

  On a sidenote - webcam does not work for Vista or Ubuntu - black screen and signals that it is already in use.

  It s not system/software problem if the laptop crashes when accessing the BIOS.
  In most cases, this happens because of hardware problems.
  But we can only speculate on hardware problems: first RAM needs to be tested
  In the worst case the motherboard problem.

  (a) the file type is supported by the drive, but the file was compressed by using a codec that is not supported by the player.

  (b) the file might have been encoded with a codec that is not supported by Windows Media Player. If this is the case, Windows Media Player cannot play the file.

  I suggest you try the following steps:

  Step 1: First, check to see if Windows Media Player streaming video settings is enabled. To do this, follow the steps below:

  (a) open Windows Media Player and click on organize.

  (b) go to options and select the network tab.

  (c) under the network tab, select all the boxes to check and try.

  Step 2: To determine what codec was used with a specific file, play the file in the player, if possible. When the file plays, right click on the file in the library and then click on properties, the file, look at the Audio and video codec codec.

  (c) If you disable the TCP , or if your firewall TCP stream blocks box and the player are configured to use the RTSP protocol, the player will try to receive the streams by using the UDP protocol. If you also clear the UDP check box, or if your firewall blocks broadcasts that use these protocols and the player is configured to use the RTSP protocol, the player will try to receive the streams by using the HTTP protocol.

  Problem:

  Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder CC constantly crash when I try to export the sequence of a project which is roughly ~ 25 minutes in length, H.264.

  The effects are used throughout the project, but only the base dissolves and black-and-white/contrast effects. Images comes from several sources, but all of the same mp4 file and type frame rates. There are also several PNG files in the Assembly, including the one I used to "frame" the movie to make it look more like images from other sources. Yet once, nothing complicated, not even a long dissolve (dissolved all is literally 2/24 frames in length).

  Split the video into sections and exporting separately are no problem, even when comparing a relatively short section of 4 minutes for a much bigger and more focused on the effects of section 11 minutes. Needless to say, I really, really, really prefer does not export this video into sections. The intended destination is youtube, and I just want everything in an own mp4, not two 12-minute videos.

  After some digging, I found similar problems reported on these and others and was especially deplore the possibility that my power supply is not large enough to cope, but it's still very confused. My MacBook is not 'stop', and as far as I could see, the Iris Intel Pro should have been sufficient even without a graph 5100 graphics adapter Pro 5200 or; as in the past I've already exported MUCH larger files, ranging from 35 to 85 minutes.

  solved by downloading latest driver for Nvidia CUDA for Mac - really just a problem with the Mercury playback engine. Guess OpenCL was not simply cut to get the type of work I was doing.

  I can play games like Americas Army, stalker or gothic 3, but they break after awhile. Although I put the graphic details low my laptop heats up and the system stops and restarts. I had one laptop Satellite A210-128 PSAELE, graphics ATI 2600hd, Windows Vista 32-bit with SP1. Also the latest BIOS and graphics to date on the Toshiba site. DirectX 10 installed.
  pcdiag test is successful.

  Please check if there is a temperature higher during the games.
  I got a BSOD while gaming by using the A210 in bed.
  The fans couldn't t work properly because the vents were clogged!

  Now, I use this laptop ONLY on the table and I have enough free space around the laptop.
  Furthermore, I cleaned the fans using a jet of compressed air.

  Now I put t receive any BSOD error and games is ok.

• Satellite L675-11R - crashes when loading the BIOS

  My daughter L675 crashes when loading the BIOS.

  Yesterday the system firstly could not start with a "Boot failed" error, as the HARD drive is not found.

  I restarted and is gone in BIOS - the HARD disk was recorded and shown as a first Source of seed. After reboot, the system has failed again with the same error.

  After several attempts, even if it does not. now that appears in a black screen, blinking cursor top left. Hot start works, but another key not seem to provoke a reaction. I can't start the BIOS Setup.

  I removed the HARD drive and connected it to my PC. It was recoginized and I am able to write to it. A W7 disk verification completed successfully and some problems have been "fixed". But when I reinstall the drive of the laptop, it still does not start.

  I double checked that the drive & Modules of memory are well inserted.

  Any ideas I can try?

  Well, the cursor blinking in the upper left corner is a typical sign of a malfunction of the HARD drive.
  I think you need to format the HARD drive using other computers. Delete all partitions and insert the HARD drive into the L675 again.
  Then try to install the Windows system on this device.

  In addition, you can try to check this HARD disk using a 3rd party software.
  Drive Fitness Test is a free tool that can help you test the ability of the HARD drive.
  If some errors would be detected, then a replacement HARD drive would be desirable.

• El Capitan crashes when watching the videos on QuickTime Player

  I faced a problem while watching the video on QuickTime Player. I'm not in streaming video. The video is in my SSD. Looking to halfway through my Mac suddenly freezes. I tried to press the touch Trackpad Force but nothing happens. The comments of tactics is absent. It's like the trackpad has been disabled. The screen is always on but the video is blocked right of the stage when my mac started to freeze. The sound of the video is still there. I tried to force the application to quit by using the keyboard shortcut, but nothing helps, it is not helped. The last resort, that I took is to press the power button for about 30-40 seconds before my mac stops completely. Can I know the reason behind this? And what steps should I take?

  These must be run as administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

  Please launch the Console application in one of the following ways:
