Satellite A500 and Kernel-Power problem
Computer stops responding or displays the blue screen or restart unexpectedly. I followed these steps and could not solve my problem. Help, please...
1. perform a clean boot device to determine if it is caused by the incompatible driver.

You should be a bit more detailed. That means that what blue stop screen code you get exactly?
What operating system you are using?
Have you checked for yellow exclamation marks Device Manager?
Have you already tried to reinstall Windows? If the problem persists after reinstalling Windows, it seems to be a malfunction of the equipment.

I bought a Satellite A500 a year ago and I'm trying to use it with my Pannasonic Veria Plasma TV connected via HDMI. The way I use it is I leave the HDMI cable connected all the time and then swap between the use of the TV and my laptop. The problem I have is that it will not failover to the HDMI, I even try to disconnect the cable and by him plugging back in - then the screen turns off to switch but then it goes to the rear of the laptop screen.

Satellite A500-1GL - graphic card problem and overheating
TOSHIBA SATELLITE A500-1GL - I almost year.
Already, the first problem appeared immediately after the purchase.
After a telephone conversation with the service and install some problem driver disappeared but unfortunately it was another, computer laptop start overheating especially on games but evan on movies more make strange noise.
I ve already used about 7 different cooling pads but none of them helped, I change the fan settings, cleaning by compressed air did not help at all.Is there a way I can fix this?

Satellite Pro U400 starts - power problem?

my liquid U400 down without any reason and doesn't start anymore.

Answer to your question is YES. You can remove the battery and use your laptop with AC power only. In most PC stores showing the rooms are placed laptop without battery. Probably the batteries have been stolen in the past.

Satellite A500 and TV tuner feature

I have a satellite A500 mahcine (PSAR9A - 01 H 001), who was supposedly a digital tv tuner integrated in it.
When I got to the machine he had windows 7 home - which has been upgraded to the work for Win 7 teacher I needed access to the domain.
The thing is that there is no sign in the hardware of a tv tuner card Manager and WMC reports no card installed.
Ive tried to download and install the drivers from the toshiba site, but it's just runs and does nothing

I tried to find the exact specification for laptop, but unfortunately I didn't find it.I ve checked the Toshiba download page and wasn't able to find the driver TV tuner so I think that your model of laptop (PSAR9A) - 001 01 H has not.
By the way: If your laptop is a TV tuner on the right side for laptop it should be placed taking TV tuner. It should be between the ports USB and DC Jack.

I bought recently (yesterday) a Toshiba Satellite A500.
I am using an external monitor AND the laptop screen. At this point, the two screens are working well but have the same images/windows.
I want to do is have each screen show another window/program running and being able to drag and drop etc seamlessly between screens.
When I bought the laptop, I asked about this and was informed that Windows would recognize the second monitor and would encourage me to choose from a list of display options, however it is not happened.

What you need is the parameters of good monitors. So what you have now is the clone mode and you need to enlarge the bureau. Satellite A110: keyboard, touchpad, power problems
I have a Toshiba Satellite A110, purchased a few months before. In recent weeks, it started randomly locking the keyboard and the touchpad (with or without external mouse plugged - although an external mouse still works).

Combined with AHCI BIOS mode it takes [parameter] Interface SATA for battery life, otherwise the SSD is not recognized.
The Toshiba using the latest firmware (to July 23, 2014), which is v1.70.
The SSD is a Samsung 840 Evo and has the latest firmware, which is EXT0BB6Q.Given that the SATA interface is set to battery life, the SATA interface is set to SATA1, who of course tops out at 133 MB/s.
For me, it is simply amazing that a laptop with a Core i7-4700MQ the year 2014 cannot detect an SSD SATA3.
Does anyone have a suggestion how to fix this?
