  I used VMware Player to create a RHEL 5.5 on Windows 7 host. The resulting virtual machine has a screen 1440 x 900, but when I run the screen is 800 x 600.   When I connect my end of 2013 retina MacBook Pro to a TV 1080 p via HDMI, system preferences port gives me a list of supported resolutions and refresh rate to choose. But when I connect to the laptop even to my new Vizio M43 - C1, it generates a fixed 3840x2160@30Hz and gives me only a handful of options for scaling HiDPI. I want to change frequency to 24 Hz for movies, I do all the time with TVs 1080 p, but I can't find the option anywhere. SwitchResX works, but are there seriously no official way to change the resolution and refresh rate when a 4K TV is connected? Looks like a massive oversight.

  Hi, I have a strange problem with a netbook NB200.

  The screen resolution is set to 1024 x 768 with the lowest resolution to be together is 800 x 600 as a result no parameter displays correctly on the netbook screen and the Start button, taskbar, etc are missing.

  All that you have done is correct and you have tried everything, but if the factory settings doesn't help reset and screen resolution is automatically 1024 x 768, again, he must a serious malfunction of equipment.   You cannot add true / resolution of the details of an image that is not captured when the photo was taken. Photo editing applications can adjust the sharpness, remove noise, etc., but they can't add true / resolution details and results may vary, massively, the photo and the filter/tool used (and configuration for tools).

  If you have reduced the resolution of the original image to store it on Google Drive, then I suggest that go back you to the use of the original image (if you still have a copy).
