  • Cannot install drivers LAN and Wireless Lan on my Satego P100-10U

    Hi people =)

II just reinstall WIndows XP Professional on my Toshiba Satego P100-10U.
I downloaded all the drivers from the Toshiba page and he burned them on a CD.

I inserted the CD in my computer and installed most of the pilots. But for
a stranger strange reason drivers network such as LAN and Wireless Lan
    drivers do not work!

    Can someone help me?

Don't work or you can not install them?

LAN driver must be installed manually because there is no setup.exe file. Go to an unknown device in Device Manager > properties > driver installation and navigate to the folder where you extracted the driver files.

Please let me know if it works.

  • Satellite U940 - update Realtek Wireless LAN Driver

I just upgraded my Satellite U940 PSU6VA - 00S 002 Windows 8 to 8.1 of Windows and am currently following the instructions of the upgrade from here. I noticed that European and Australian Toshiba sites include a 'Realtek Wireless LAN Driver' in their list of downloads driver for Windows 8.1 for the Satellite U940:
    - European page
    -[http://support.toshiba-tie.co.jp/windows81/drivers/PSU6V_Up_au.htm]

However, I have never noticed any a Realtek wireless LAN driver on my computer, before even that I have upgraded to Windows 8.1. I've only seen in Device Manager network cards:
    -Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2200
-Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller (which I believe is a wired LAN driver, not a LAN wireless driver).

So my question is: do I have to download the Realtek wireless network driver or is it not suitable for my system?

    > So my question is: do I have to download the Realtek wireless network driver or is it not suitable for my system?

Your laptop was equipped with Intel wireless network adapter and NOT card Realtek WLan and therefore the Realtek WLan driver does not need to be installed.
You should consider a fact: there are different laptops on the market models that are equipped with different material parts. Some support the Realtek WLan card and some models were equipped with modules WLan Intel and that's why you can find some drivers (like Realtek Bluetooth Driver Package Filter) in the driver from the list of downloads that are not essential for all models.

Y at - it another version of ConfigFree that works with this version of driver/manager of wireless local area network? Toshiba released another version of ConfigFree?

    Best regards

    .

I saw your other link you are using Windows XP Home edition and now write you about WXP MCE.
You mix this whole thing or what?
What operating system you have installed?

If you use WXP MCE (laptop came with MCE), please install all the stuff available for MCE. As far as I know all the drivers available for MCE are absolutely the same in the Toshiba recovery image so everything should work properly.

Install WXP MCE and install all the stuff for MCE following order of good facilities. Believe me, that everything will work properly.

Satellite A100 is old enough laptop model and I can't imagine that Toshiba offers incompatible drivers.

Anyone know if this phone has the ability to internal wireless network? What does this switch and the light? How to activate it etc?

I bought the same laptop new 2 years ago and in the manual, there was an addendum explaining that if there were an equipped module as a dealer option then the machine was Wi Fi... The symbol on the front lights up when you press the switch on the right side when a Toshiba module is mounted but not if you use a card pc as a Belkin (which I use)... Please see response below Toshiba.

The internal Wireless LAN Mini PCI card is no longer supported.
The option of Toshiba part number was PA3212U-3MPC (Wireless LAN Mini PCI Card

  • SA60-742 and Wireless LAN

    Hello

I was told when I bought what he had taken in charge for LAN wireless, but it seems to me that there is no such built in functionality. Am I wrong?

No button to turn on/off the wireless function and no trace of this communication in Control Panel.

    Hello

I'm sure that your laptop taken in charge the wireless card. First, you must be sure that you have one or not. Please check under network adapters Device Manager, if there is listed wireless card. If this isn't the case, you must buy a. In your case, it can be a Wireless LAN Mini PCI card or you can buy the PCMCIA wireless card and use it in the PC card slot.

The two solutions are ok, but the second is perhaps easier because the Mini PC Card must be to build the right place and it is necessary to open the cover of the laptop.

    Hello:

The list of parts below to your laptop says that it comes with a card without thread/Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 bluetooth, so you have the Intel for W8.1 bluetooth driver.

Here is the link to the last W81. Driver Intel BT for this model of the wireless card.

If this isn't the case, then that means that there is no card inserted wireless network.

  • Satellite A60 - overheating and decommissioning

    Hello

As "[email protected]", I have similar problems with my Satellite A60.

After about 10 minutes of normal use on a hard, flat surface, the laptop starts to become very hot and turns off (obviously overheating). He started only when working with heavy editing workload, but is now it does all the time.

Is this a common fault with the A60? I've had mine for a little more than 12 months and had no probems, and now all of a sudden I can barely use the thing! (of course, it's just out of warranty)

Any suggestions would be very appreciated,

    Thank you very much

    Mike

    Hi Mike,.

That strangely resembles the typical issue of overheating that can infest the laptop users. Laptops use a metal matrix (similar to a car radiator) cooling to dissipate heat from the CPU when using, and if the airway through the matrix of the clogging of dust and debris, then a thermal trigger will be used to turn off the power to the laptop.

Air suction fans act like small vacuum cleaners and pull ambient air dust in the matrix where it gradually accumulates and blocks the air flow.

Try to use a hose of vacuum cleaner against the aspiration air grills to pick the accumulated debris. I do this with my laptop on a monthly basis.

    Kind regards

  • Satellite A60 crashes and restart the cycle - missing or damaged system32\DRIVERS\Ntfs

I have a Toshiba Satellite A60, who has recently developed a serious problem and is currently blocked in a crash restart cycle. He started with the message "missing or damaged system32\DRIVERS\Ntfs", I've read about this problem on discussion forums, but am still unable to find a solution.

Currently on start error messages appear indicating a driver is missing or damaged, the Toshiba start page has vertical lines of missing data and on a few occasions it will fully start after a short period of time vertical lines appear on the screen and it crashes.

I tried a number of bugs:
    * Re installed windows XP pro (formatting the hard drive and renew the partitions)
    * Update the bios on the site of toshiba in version 1.90 (I think that the update also flashes the bios, but would need this confirmation?)
Swapping the hard drive with a portable, yet no longer starts and HD works fine in another laptop, dismissing the possibility of missing or corrupt files.

I realize that this could be a problem with the RAM and think that the laptop has 512 fixed to the motherboard, accessable without stripping down, but do not know how to determine if the RAM is the problem. While trying these fixes, I get problems with the start of the player and can only get the disk to launch and recognize the CD about 1 to 10 times.

Could someone suggest a remedy or a fix I can try? or suggest how they fixed a similar problem. Thank you very much

You ssounds not very good ;(description
The hardware malfunction appears to be responsible for the vertical lines on the screen
If vertical lines appear also an external display, the jury may be wrong.

You re right, I Googled, and it seems that Sat A60 supports an internal memory.
As far as I know, this memory cannot be removed and only an electronics could solve this internal memory.
But are you sure that the internal memory is impaired. The device supports only 256 MB internal memory and other modules are removable
If you can try to replace

  • Satellite A60: Power and bios error

    Hello
A few days ago, I wanted to update my bios, so I downloaded the windows for this installer. I opened the file and the progress bar moved for a few seconds, and then the laptop froze. I have it left alone for more than an hour and then I turned off the camera.

I turned it back on, and it didn't go through the bios boot (update corrupted I think), I turned it back off.

turned back on, but the power button does not work and the lights won't turn on either...

so the problem is the following:
    (1) update corrupted bios
    (2) no lights whatsoever (no light battery, no power light, no nothing...)

the plug itself works, but I couldn't check the adapter (I don't think it's broken because it does not overheat or anything like that). also, I took the battery and it endured, but it did not help...

is that what I can do emse for Toshiba repair?

    can it still be fixed?

It is a A60-122 and was purchased on October 30 last year.

If you need more details, let me know.
any help will be greatly appreciated!
    Thank you!

    Hello

Try to remove the battery for a short time and try again.

    Download bios here->
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com. look at support & downloads, click on 'Download Bios' and choose your model.

It is very important that you refer to the Description of the Toshiba BIOS update before you continue.
