  Question may be stupid, but why firmware update HARD drive? Over the past 10 years I ve ever installed an update of the HARD drive.

  I have a Satellite C660-26z. I try to use Trimble/google sketchup (3d modeling program) but keep an error message "Bug splat."

  Google suggested that I up date my permit, when I try to update from Intel, I get an error message telling me it was modified by the Assembly of the computer and communicate with them.

  My driver is Intel(r) HD Graphics Version = 8.15.10.2189
  The program works fine on my other computer 5.

  We know that you can not use drivers provided by graphics card manufacturers. Not for laptops. Display drivers are changed by laptop manufacturers to provide the balance between performance and protection of the equipment.

  What you can try is to check if Toshiba offers a newer driver for new models of portable computers.

  If you can find new display drivers for:
  Satellite L775 (PSK6DE)
  Satellite R700 (PT314E)
  Satellite Pro U630 (PSK01E)

  I put t know what system you are currently using but the Win 7 32 bit / 64 bit and 8.1 Win drivers are available on the Toshiba UE driver page:

  The key is to choose the right WLan driver because this series was equipped with three different wireless network cards: Intel / Atheros or Broadcom.

  You can have the previous operating system (recovery image) If you install it using a recovery (DVD or USB) media.
  I assume that you did not create this media recovery in the past, the right?

  I am writing this post to ask why the display driver for this model has not been updated since 2010
  I played a favorite game of mine (Civilization V) on this model. They have updated the game with a patch in November and the computer can no longer display graphics properly because the old drivers.

• Satellite C660 - 23 M - graphics driver update problem

  New to this forum, so don't know if this has been covered.

  Have installed Photoshop elements 11 and Prime Minister 11.
  Elements of program works ok but cannot get the items first to open the new project. Adobe advises trying to update the drivers I have tried without success.

  When running driver update on the laptop, it says last driver installed. 8.15.10.2189
  On the site of Toshiba update, it shows the later version 8.15.10.2353.
  Have downloaded this, I then unzipped it and it says will when you have completed the automatic installation to start but nothing happens.

  I tried several times but once unzipped it will not be installed.

  Any help would be appreciated and infact confirmation of the latest driver.

  To get rid of this, you must remove the server - and lowerfilters in the Windows registry:

  1.demarrez > run > Regedit

  3. in the right pane, delete the "UpperFilters" key and delete the key "LowerFilters".
