Satellite C75-A-145 starts

My tosh Saturday did not in service since yesterday.

First of all, I left my laptop on while a few minutes and when I got home the only way to wake from sleep mode was to unplug the power cable. Then after and hour it did it again but this time he has never started.

Power electric led work when battery or cable power led turn on when I hit the on button and hd looks like work just for a few seconds and fan cooling on the right side.

Then everything stops and the laptop freezes.
Screen never turns on.

Tried away anything regarding whether to disconnect battery cables and power button on like 10 minutes...

Any help?

A few years ago I had an old book. The laptop turns on properly, but similar symptoms were noticeable... after a few short investigation and different solutions, I replaced the RAM modules...

It was the key... one of the defective modules and this is the reason for the beginning of the problems...
I don't know if this info can be useful, but I think that the RAM to check first...

of course, this sounds like a hardware problem and where the warranty is valid, I recommend contacting the service center to fix under warranty conditions.

  • Satellite Pro P300-145 - sound of frying with my headphones

    Hello!

I have a Satellite Pro P300-145 and today I started noticing a noise of frying with my headphones. I tested my headphones in a different laptop and they sound good and if I play the same files with my speakers it sounds good too so I was wondering if you knew what could be the reason.

I have to say I kept the laptop doesn't work for quite a lot this weekend and he got more than warm so I dunno if that could be causing it in the first place.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Andunemir,

What operating system you are using? You use Windows or Linux?
In addition, it would be interesting to know if this happens only with headphones/external speakers or portable speakers internal too. You can test this please?

    > I have to say I kept the laptop doesn't work for quite a lot this weekend and he got more than warm so I dunno if that could be causing it in the first place.
The temperature of the laptop is enough depending on the applications that you are running. High CPU and graphic card use causes a higher temperature.

But it s also advised to clean the system at any time using a jet of compressed air. This can blow the dust from the cooling fans and the laptop is much cooler after that. I do it every 3 months because I use my laptop every day. If I do that, I followed these instructions:

  • Satellite C75 - A - auto sleep (standby) does not work

    Hello

My Toshiba SATELLITE C75 - A will not automatically in standby mode (standby) after some time of inactivity.
Eve works well when I trigger it manually with the start menu and when I do not use the mouse or keyboard for a while, the screen turns off. But neither sleep nor put into hibernation is turned on after the interval set in the energy saving plan.

    When I run
    powercfg with fluo compact
    on the console I get

"PCI Express Active State Power Management (ASPM) has been disabled due to incompatibility with the hardware on this computer."

    My BIOS is updated.
I would be really grateful for any advice.

    Hello

Have you tried to activate the Hibernate mode and standby manually by using the powercfg command?

Here is a list of possible options regarding the powercfg command:
    [Powercfg command-line options | http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/cc748940]

For example with the command * powercfg-h on * turns the hibernation feature on or off.
You can use also returns a list of devices that support hibernation or sleep

By the way: what system are you using?

In addition, you can try to activate or disable the PCIe Link State Power Management in Windows

Go to control panel-> Power Options-> advanced power plan settings
Here, scroll down and expand PCI Express and Link State Power Management.

Currently setting (without battery) or on battery and sector, open the drop-down menu, select Off or ON and click OK.
If you select No, there is no energy savings, and current runs regardless of which state that the laptop is in. (depending on whether your laptop is plugged or not).
On battery: Off = PCI Express even will communicate using the power of the battery.
Plugged in: Off = PCI Express communicates when it is connected as well.

    Hi all

I have a Satellite Pro A120-145 running Win Xp Pro fully patched and updated, I have a yellow typical marks against "serial" in non-plug-and-play in Device Manager (when I click on view devices).

Could someone tell me what driver is needed for this? I don't want to use the recovery disc I made a custom Setup to get rid of the excess baggage which is included on the disc.

    Thanks in advance.

I used advanced search forum and found that Toshiba post document in some discussions of the forum.
    Please read this:

Then, you can visit the page of the Toshiba driver and may download the driver for the unknown device.

  • Satellite L450D does not start

My satellite L450D won't start. He stopped and when I walk back, he back the start menu, if I select the repair, it's just a black screen. If I choose start as usual, it goes to the windows logo but it remains stuck. I also tried to start in safe mode, but it says loading files and stays stuck.

I tried pressing 0 on start up and it does not work and I also tried the recovery disk and it does not work.
    Any ideas would be appreciated
    Thank you

    > I tried pressing 0 on start up and it does not work and I also tried the recovery disk and it does not work.
If you have a laptop model European 0 initially upwards will help any. You must use F8 at startup to display the advanced startup options. Is the option repair my computer available?

Anyway, OS is probably screwed and new installation OS can help. Enter the BIOS and set it to default settings. According to redo this cell phone start and press F12 to get into the boot menu. When the boot menu appears on the screen, place the recovery in the optical disc drive disk, choose the CD/DVD device from the menu and press ENTER. This will force ODD to start the reading recovery disk.

  • Satellite L300 - will not start after the installation of Skype

My Toshiba Satellite L300 won't start after installing Skype.
This happened to someone else, and can I do?

    Thank you.

I think Skype is probably the most used messenger and ideal application for communication.
It is professionally designed and programmed. As you know in recent years, it has been offered in many different versions and it is always better and better.

So I think that Skype itself is probably not the problem. I know that a lot of people also use Skype and I've never heard problem described.

Anyway, what you can try is to remove Skype and try to install it again. Try also push the BONES at that earlier time. Maybe some Microsoft updates are responsible for the stability of the software.
It's really not easy to say what the problem is here.

  • Satellite L50t-A-145 screen upgrade (1080 p)

I think of the upgrade of the screen on my Satellite L50t-A-145 a factory (1366 x 768) for a full HD (1920 x 1080) one. All people of material, I spoke so far were pretty negative, but what they said seems to me just a case of replacing the LVDS cable (standard will not support 1080 p, which, if true, leaves me speechless around) then replace the current screen by a 1080 p with appropriate physical characteristics (correct size screw fixing positions (, the position of the connector, etc.). Anyone has experience to do or have relevant knowledge to share? It is my first attempt to upgrade a laptop screen, so any help welcome.

    Hello

For me the description sounds like the laptop can not find an OS on the HARD disk bootable.
The laptop trying to boot from the HARD drive and Windows has not been installed on the HARD disk or portable computer booting from the drive, but the environment is not bootable.

Have you tried to boot from the recovery delivered CD or have you tried to reinstall the operating system?

  • Re: Satellite C75-A-10W - where to find Windows 7 drivers

    Hello

I recently ordered a Toshiba Satellite C75-A-10W and I installed Windows7 64 bit OS on it. I noticed that I miss a lot of drivers, so I decided to look on the official site.

I walked into the Toshiba Romania, filled the whites until the 'operating system' - I could select only windows 8 and OS independent if I wanted to look up for drivers.

What should I do? Can you help me, please?
Where can I find drivers for Windows7? Can I use win8 on my win7 drivers?
I really need help looking for these drivers.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

The C75-A-10W Satellite is the new series on the market published with the Win 8 system
I guess Win 7 drivers are not yet available. As far as I know earn 8.1 is a new candidate and possible the next bunch of pilots would be released to win 8.1

Lets see if he'd go out Win 7 driver for these new laptop series.

In your case, I recommend finding drivers unique in your own hand.
Use the mini PCI database to obtain information about components and devices integrated into the specifications, as described here: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD0302U00000R01.htm

You can also view some Win 7 drivers out for the other, the people old Toshiba notebook series.
In cases built parts are the same, the pilot should be compatible.
