  Just had the Qosmio F20 - 137 3 days. The left speaker or something in the chassis is teeming with some frequenzies in the sound. It is very annoying, especially since I bought this for multimedia application. Does anyone know if there is a reason known to the buzz?

  All speakers usually begin to vibrate (for the buzz) if the bass is high.
  I think it s not a malfunction. You should check that the sound properties and you shouldn't t turn on maximum bass controller.

  Can someone help me please. I have a F20-137.

  They don't do anything except Fn + F9 and F10.

  I need Fn + F5 works as I don't know if I can the S-video output on my tv (bush ws667-1).

  FN keys only works if some Toshiba Utilities and tools are pre-installed on your device. FN + F5 will work if change device display Utility is preinstalled.

  Is your unit preloaded with recovery media or with your own operating system?

  A datasheet, I found a maximum capacity of 4 GB, but with these two circuits, the computer does not start.
  Even if I only install one of them in one of the slots is functioning normally.

  This computer is not able to handle 4GB?

  I have also not found any information on the latest version of the Bios. I have installed V2.80.

  Your model of laptop can't handle with 4 GB. Max RAM on this laptop model is only 2 GB.

  More I recommend the Device Manager if some yellow exclamation points are visible near the sound card.
  An audio driver update would be too good.

  I have a F20-137. The screen is blank and also the laptop can't seem to fly other views or through the output S-video. It is used to go back to work if you out the battery and you press the 'works' for a while. No idea why this worked!

  Needless to say that a CPU upgrade in a laptop is totally sensless because you won´t gain true high performance. On the other side, you have to be a technician who should be familiar with these systems, because a mobile system is NOT THE SAME as a desktop system.

  Regarding your question:
  This system is not able to take a dual-core cpu, because you only have an Intel 910 chipset / 915GM which can only take Intel pentium M.

• F20-137: TV Tuner does not work on MCE

  I just purchased a Qosmio F20-137 and when I set up the TV Tuner (DVB - T) I had no problem. However when I try to watch TV on Media Center he frequently stutters and loses its signal (about once every 2/3 minutes). I tried a couple of different antennas ready (DVB - T), but the problem persists.

  I thought it was due to the TNT being strong enough signal. However I recently bought a £45 Freecom (DVB - T) usb to my desktop and it rarely or never stutters or loses its signal. The USB device does not work on the Qosmio so that I couldn't try on that.

  Is that what this indicates that there may be a problem with my laptop? Or can anyone suggest a possible solution to the problem?

  My first post after getting the F20-137. Loverly machine gets but warm enough or on the left side after a little play.

  I found the cooler in the link above - anyone have it or know if it works with the Tosh? If not good recommendations I am based in the United Kingdom.

  I didn't know the background of a F20 so I can't say with certainty, but providing there are vents on the bottom of the laptop, it should work fine. The only problem is if this isn't quite the right size - the F20 is slightly wider than the cooler (37cm vs 33cm) you may need to purchase some rubber 'feet' to stick on the cooler to stop the laptop sliding on. Coolermaster do some similar products, of which one is a little wider, so it may be more appropriate.

  In fact, I built my own, adding port replicators, a USB hub, etc., and it was not exactly rocket science, so if you're feeling creative why not give him a dagger? :)

  Unfortunately, I think that this is not possible because touchscreens still have an extra layer of digitizer screen inside as Akuma wrote. So in other words, they have a completely normal view without touch screen compatibility.
