Satellite L100-120 WLAN connectivity problem

It is very difficult to connect to a wifi network, the activity is very slow between 200-500 bytes sent and received, and often, with excellent signal, I get the message "no or limited connectivity.

Now I use an external adapter that gives me good connectivity, with 4 giga bytes sent and 23 giga bytes received. I updated the driver, now, I 10.5.1.59 version. He has not much improved. To my knowledge the new BIO 2.0 should solve some problems with the WLan connectivity and performance.
I recommend trying this.

    already tried the real sounddrivers of conexant? Maybe your audio input device work after you have installed the card driver its manufacturer.
    Another reason could be the SP3 which additionally brings the benefits some driver has problems with, would also be an option to check for some patches microsoft knowledge base or workarounds.

    I bought this laptop about 14 months ago and have had fairly consistent problems with internet connectivity. Initially, the problem occurred when the prompt "Choose your browser" would appear. After selecting IE or chrome, in a day or two, we would start to get the "limited connectivity" message. We have around this simply by avoiding the selection of the browser prompt, but would still have problems every few months, IE being told there was a communication problem with the DNS server.
    We did the usual stuff: unplug the modem for a few minutes and sometimes he would settle the matter, but only temporarily.

    Usually, as soon as the first problem arises, it would be just a matter of time until we could get no connection whatsoever. The only thing that could make it work again was a complete restoration of the system, we have done 5/6 times over the months.

    Yes, I have a U400 and I installed Win XP Pro.
    I have an Intel WLan card and I already updated the driver WLan to the State.
