This makes the button for macro on my excel sheet calculations are completely except.
It seems to be intermittent did not work yesterday, worked this morning and stopped working this afternoon.

I m using Win XP and I have disabled this dual function broadband because I recorded it always accidentally.

    Hello!

The touchpad does appear in Device Manager or you have here yellow exclamation points?

Like Akuma says you can enable or disable the touchpad with FN + F9 key combination.
    Did you check that?

In the worst cases, you must go to an ASP. It seems to be a hardware malfunction, and this must be checked by a technician of the laptop. Here, you can search the nearest ASP:

  • Satellite P300D - touchpad does not work

I have a Satellite P300D-131 with Windows 7 64 bit. The touchpad does not work.

Activation with Fn + F9 has no effect. The device manager says that the device is functioning.
Who knows the reason? Could be a driver problem.

Where can I get a driver appropriate? I already searched the Download Center of Toshiba software without success.

On this virtual path, it is not easy to offer a diagnosis in order to answer your question may be some speculation on the possible reasons.

In your ad, it is not clear since when you have this problem.

I installed Win7 64 bit on several laptops P300 and everything was ok.
Since when you have this problem? I can't imagine touchpad doesn't work all the time since when you use Win7.

It is interesting that I ve seen that Windows update offers updates of the driver Synaptics listed as optional update. Perhaps you have it installed?

  • Satellite T110-107 - Touchpad does not properly

I love my Satellite T110-107, but there are problems with the touchpad.

    (1) the mouse cursor does not move sometimes. With this one, I get to move taking both hands away from the laptop for a while.
    (2) the cursor of the mouse all of a sudden 'draws' of the right hand of the screen.

I tried to change the sensitivity of the touchpad to the minimum and maximum levels, I adjusted the sensitivity 'Palm', but nothing seems to help other than by the low sensitivity that helps a little.

I also noticed that when the laptop is on my lap, the problem is worse than if it's on a table.

I think it's a problem with an accumulation of static electricity on the case.

    Other ideas?

    Hey Buddy,

I use the Satellite T110 for months now and really and no problem. Everything is great and I don t have problems. It the laptop really great s!

There must be something wrong with your installation.
First of all, I would recommend updating the driver from the touchpad. You can download the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com

After that you should test again. Also check the settings of the touchpad again. There are a large number of settings to improve the touchpad.

  • Satellite P205: Touchpad does not work when the new adapter is connected

I got a replacement charger for my Satellite P205 but put it has A 4.19 instead of 3. 95 has, they said that it didn't matter, but since I use the charger, I have the following problems:

-Does not load properly and turns off after an hour.
-The touchpad has a mind of its own when the charger is connected (windows opens if hovering over button, through the screan jumps when I try to move it, freezes and disappears)
-Charger Word to say the laptop plugged in but not charging

What can I do to remedy these problems, the laptop works perfectly when the charger is not plugged in?

    See you soon!

    Hello

I guess that the touchpad worked correctly in the past with the former sector adapter.
    Is this good?

Well, it seems that these questions are related to the new power adapter and I would recommend using a 100% compatible adapter.

Check the AC adapter s old part number and if the issues could be resolved using this adapter.

  • Satellite U500 touchpad does not work

Hey guys, so after installation of a mouse on my computer wireless toshiba laptop, all seemed well. but all of a sudden after a few days, the touchpad didn't work properly and she also at times, the keyboard disfunctioned so.

I went to Device Manager and found that there was a problem with the ALPS touchpad. Wen I try and update the driver, what it comes up with an error code «10» even after uninstalling the wireless mouse, the touchpad is still infunctionable.

Ive read through a lot of forums but none has been a great help, I tried system restore my computer and opening to a date prior to installation but there was also a problem with the system restore because he could not because of the error 0xc0000022.

my last attempt was to remove the ALPS touchpad driver and reinstall. I downloaded the driver from the internet and I tried to reinstall, but it came up with error code = 0 x 00000103---> a touchpad error.

ATM im quite lost and in need of great help!

This computer is also only 2 month old running on Windows 7.

    Hello

Error code 10 means that this device cannot start properly because of the issue of the register
Usually a update/new installation driver should fix it, but in many cases, this does not work because of corrupt registry
I have no idea why the wireless mouse software touched the touchpad feature but it seems that the new OS installation can be useful

But before beginning a new installation, try to clean the registry with CCleaner or another cleaning tool
Maybe you are lucky and new installation is not necessary

    Hello

The touchpad works if the USB mouse is disconnected?
As far as I know there is an option that disables the touchpad automatically if the USB mouse is connected.
You can find this option in: Control Panel-> mouse-> Pointing device

    Select this check box.

I put t know what is the reason for this BSOD when installing, but you can post the BSOD code? For example, you can search based on Microsoft Knowledge for this code.

  • On Satellite M40X touchpad does not work perfect

    Hallo

I can still move my cursor with the touchpad, but when I key touchpad with my finger to open or select an item that no longer works. The two buttons below the touchpad working ok. I tried to reinstall the driver but it does not solve the problem.

    Thank you

    Hello

First, you need to check the settings for the Touchpad in the mouse properties
You'll find Advanced tab use the advanced feature
Now you should see a lot of settings that are responsible for the use of the touchpad.
Do a preview. If all the settings are ok, well in my opinion, the touchpad is broken and you need a new.

In this case, you should contact Toshiba service in your country.

    Hello

You mean that the touchpad no longer works?
Have you used the Toshiba Recovery disk to recover the device?

You use the latest version of the BIOS?
Please check this and if the latest BIOS if available, please update this

Well, it could also be a hardware problem

  • Satellite L305D - Touchpad does not work after installing Windows 7

I had recently installed Windows7 32 Bit there is almost a week on my Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5934, and now the tablet to the PC no longer works.

I was reduced to using an optical mouse on my computer. I've updated all my drivers and firmware etc on the windows update software and still I have not been unable to get the touchpad working. Windows 7 had installed the driver of synaptic for the touchpad pointing stick, but im guessing that he needs a special Tosiba firmware to recognize the touchpad for this model. What should I do to get the touchpad working again?

Here are the specs of my model:

    PC x 86 ACPI
    64-bit AMD Turion X 2 processor
    ATI Radeon 3100 graphics card
    Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad

I installed Windows 7 on my Satellite Pro P300 and touchpad works properly. The OS is naked and I didn't install any additional touchpad driver.

  • Satellite L670 - touchpad does not

A couple of days, the Touchpad and left and right click buttons stopped working.

The computer works fine with a USB mouse. I tried restore all same back to factory State with no luck. When I look in the Device Manager it tells me that the synaptics pointing device works properly, when it obviously isn't.

    Help please.

Akuma could be just so try to press the FN + F9 key combination to activate the touchpad.

In addition, a BIOS version contains an option to disable the touchpad. Enter the BIOS setup and check the touchpad option if you can find it. If yes make sure that it s not disabled and also to load the default settings in the BIOS Setup.

  • Satellite A300 - Touchpad does not work correctly

    Hi guys,.

I recently had a problem with my laptop touchpad.

The little icon in the toolbar that displays the status of the touch pad indicates that the touchpad is used even when it is not.
There also some time did the same for the left click button.

I tried to change settings in the control panel and tried to update the driver (windows tells me always upward even if this isn't so far!).

Because the touchpad think he used this effects my LT performance! Any clues guys.

Oh and Fn + F9 turns off the TP but the indication remains the same.

Have you tried to use the touchpad the touchpad driver free? You should be able to use the touchpad without driver also, but you will have all these additional options.
    Can you please test?

What model of laptop you have exactly (A300-xxx)?
