  • Satellite L500-13D: all programs & settings are gone after upgrade to Windows 7

    Hello.

    My laptop is Satellite L500-13D

I've upgraded to WINT in VISTA using official TSB upgrade disk.
It seems that something was wrong. Win7 installed properly, but unfortunately all installed programs and settings are gone.
I see also that when the upgrade $directories on C: and E partitions have been created; programs and older files are there.

    A few questions:

    1. is there a way to return return programs?
    2. how to create the recovery disks now under WIN7, because there is no CREATOR of TOSHIBA RECOVERY more?
    3. download TOSHIBA RECOVERY CREATOR?

    Hi mate

Have you read the manual that came with the laptop and Windows 7 upgrade disc?

After an upgrade to Windows 7 you need additional disk with the upgrade tools that came with the Windows 7 upgrade disk.

    > 2. How to create the recovery disks now under WIN7, because there is no CREATOR of TOSHIBA RECOVERY more?
This is not possible because the recovery disk must be created at first running the operating system preinstalled by Toshiba.

    > 3. Download TOSHIBA RECOVERY CREATOR?
If I know that cannot be downloaded.

  • Satellite L500-14 X - battery does not load after upgrading to Win 8

    Hello

after upgrating my laptop to win 8 battery continues to charge...
the message says... "pluged but no current charging"...

Any suggestions... except to reinstall win7...?

    Hello

Usually, there is not much difference between Win 7 and Win 8 so I really put t understand why this battery issue must be linked to Win 8.
In my opinion this isn't win 8 problem and I think that even if you install Win 7, this question is would not solve

    Try this:
Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery
Now let the laptop disconnected for a longer period of time (10 hours)
Then hold power button / stop along 30 sec and bring the two parties together.
The adapter must be connected for a while to allow the ERP system the battery

  • Satellite L500: What Win 7 I will get reocvery disk: 32 or 64 bit?

    Hello

I recently bought a Toshiba laptop (Satellite L500) which was preinstalled with a 64 bit version of Windows 7, stored on the hard drive, but unfortunately I have not create the 64 - bit recovery of it support.

So when I installed the 32-bit version of Windows 7 all data on the hard drive, including Windows 7 64 bit and its backup became erased.

I tried to order a recovery disc 64-bit Windows 7 for my laptop on the Backup Media of Toshiba Europe online store but when I go to the associated Web page and enter the serial number of my PC to identify the backup media that I need for my PC, there is just some information about the name of my PC model and price of the recovery disc without giving details of the version of the recovery disc.

So I don't know if I commander order for a recovery disk, will be sold to me which version of Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit? ) ?

I would be very grateful if you could share your knowledge with me about it.

    Thanks for your help

What is the model number of the L500? (PSLxxx-xxxxxx)

Google the model number and look at the booklet, which will tell you what OS it came with.

    Hello

It's pretty easy. Go to the [page driver Toshiba | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp] and download the utility of Vap and Flashcard support. Then, install Vap and restart your laptop. After that do it for the support of Flashcard.

I am now installing the 32-bit version, but hey, 64-bit must be possible, does it not?
    I'm open to good ideas.

    Thanks much for this information.
Seems the BIOS update would solve the BSOD with Win 7 64 bit OS problems

  • Problems syncing notes app after upgrading to iOS 10

    Hi all

I hear a lot of people having the same problem on the web.

After upgrading my iPhone 6 s more and iPad Pro iPad 9.7 ", kept perfect notes that I saved in the Notes application (like my MBP / iMac too), while on my iPhone, I've known many sync problems and even lost notes and records.

    1. I tried to pass and on the synchronization of Notes in the iOS iCloud preferences, with a reboot between stocks. Nope. No synchronization, and when I turned on sync I lost almost all of the notes previously saved in my iPhone, so I now 15 notes instead of 175. This ONLY happens on my iPhone, while iPad / MBP / iMac yet.

2 - I tried to create a new folder in my MBP or in my iMac, hoping to "stimulate" a new event to Resync through all my devices. Not for the iPhone, but synchronized on my iPad / MBP / iMac.

    3. today, I made a backup of my iPhone, reinstalled the iOS 10, then restored the backup.

    Nope.

    Any ideas, guys?

    Thank you

    Luca

EDIT: actually sync problems seems to occur exclusively on the side of the iOS. This also includes the iPad. Fortunately, I didn't have the great idea to disable the synchronization of Notes in iCloud on my iPad, as I did on the iPhone.

I'd lose certainly all currently stored notes in my iPad too.

  • Problem of LTE connectivity after upgrade to iOS 10-SE

Do not know if everyone knows this, but after upgrade to iOS 10 on my iPhone SE when I leave one area LTE and go to the services area or area No. less than LTE and re - enter a LTE area, I have no service. There is no service or reports 4g, but when I use an app, it says no network not connected. I tried all the usual stuff... Restored from backup, cleared cache, reset the network connections, did a hard reset, nothing works. The only thing that comes to LTE turns the phone then turn it back. All this experience? I have never had this issue before moving to iOS 10.

I think you have the same problem described here:

After briefly losing service, iPhone will fail to connect to the cellular network until you restart

  • Upgraded to Win7 32-bit to 64-bit on Satellite A500 - 15 M

    Satellite A500 - 15 M PSAM0E-00M00PEN

I have the disc update Toshiba Windows 7 family premium 32-bit and 64-bit
I have upgraded from Vista operating system preinstalled
    I chose the 32-bit option.

I choose 64-bit with the same disk?

    If yes how?

    Hello

As far as I know the laptop came with VISTA 32/64 Bit HOME PREMIUM system (DOUBLE).
So, you can use Vista 32 bit or 64 bit

Just to clarify this: you used Vista 32 bit in the past and updated the Vista 32 bit to Win 7 32 bit. Right?

Well, if you want to use Win 7 64 bit, you can upgrade to Vista 64-bit for Win 7 64 bit, or you must be a new install of Win 7 64 bit using a floppy Microsoft Win 7 64 bit.

  • Problems printing reports from Magny accounting V16 (win7 32 bit)

    Hello

I am haing issues with our Hp C7180 (connected wifi printer)

We have 2 printers on the system, a Lexmark is also installed.

When you try to print a "notice of pay" Magny accounting V16...

If the Hp C7180 is the default printer... MYOB breaks down...

If the Lexmark is default printer... Prints ok...

If the Lexmark is default... myob will build the report ok and I can then choose to print to the HP C7180 and it prints very well...

If its only if the HP is selected by default when you create report... which causes the program to crash...

Strange driver problem?... I loaded the updates for the drivers of Hp... through HP update...

The system is Win7 32 bit

Other reports seem to work ok... with the ch as default...

We used the years Lexmark printer (16 MYOB is dated program)... never a glitch...

HP seems to be ok for the most part, except the tips of the payroll reports...

I doubt that it is the program MYOB causing the fault... I mean that a printer is a printer isn't?

    Thanks for any answers

    DMG

    Thanks for the reply.

I just thought I inform HP incase the problem is also with the never the Versions of MYOB, I can't test those since we only V16.

The work around is enough, since I'm only using the printer to blow through a cartridge expired HP, will return to the use of the Lexmark when its empty.

    See you soon

  • Problem with the rules after upgrade of the VM in foglight cartridge

    Hello

There is a small problem with the rules after that I updated the VM cartridge level.

In the default rules, I changed a few settings so that they will act as I need.

However, each time I upgrade VM cartridge my rules are off and marked as backup.

The question is: is there a way to upgrade the cartridge and keep my active rules after upgrading?

    Best regards

    Victor

This is the normal behavior according to this KB article

    https://support.quest.com/SolutionDetail.aspx?ID=SOL105872&PR=Foglight

    105872 knowledge article

    • Title

Backup rules fill in the dashboard management rule after Foglight upgraded
    • Description

After that an upgrade of Foglight was conducted, several backup rules are created for rules that have been published before the upgrade. For example:

      Cluster VMW IO network
      Cluster VMW IO network (backup)

    • Resolution

During the upgrade procedure, the FMS has detected that some of the original rules have been changed in some way. It copies the rules previously upgraded in backups, before trying to merge the contents of the update rule in the former.

Assuming that the FMS works as expected, the rules of backup can be deleted. However, it is best to confirm this in the respect of the rules first before making deletions.

When editing rules, particularly rules OOTB (out of the box), it is recommended to copy the original rule, disable the original rule and edit the copied rule. This should reduce the risk of the problem described in this Article.
