  I just upgraded my Satellite L500 to Windows 7 everything is fine except that I have no internet access. I have a strong connection to my wireless home network and can connect to other wireless devices to the network ok. I also tried to connect using cable, but I have the same problem - connected but no internet access.

  I ran ConfigFree utility and it does not find a problem. I ran the troubleshooter in Windows and it is unable to solve the problem but tells me that the wireless network doesn't have a valid IP configuration.

  I have reset the modem and the router, without effect.

  I checked all the drivers and BIOS are the latest versions.

  I tried to enter an IP address manually rather than get an automatically. Still no luck.

  Any ideas I can try? I hope someone can help.

  For me it sounds like that the problem is the router, and not the laptop because you wrote that with cable connected even happens on WLAN connection.

  If you go into the menu of the router, what is the status of the internet connection? Your router has a connection or not?

  After the upgrade to Windows 7 to 10, some printed documents very well while others print in close columsns of 15 letters causing a document 1 page run 6 to 8 pages long and useless.

  I downloaded the latest driver from HP and used their diagnostic tests.  I used Windows Diagnostics.  They suggest no action.  I contacted Microsoft 3 times and technicians turned out to be unnecessary; It was suggested that finally back to Windows 7.  The printer works just great.  This printer is no longer under warranty.  I have a same printer which works well on another computer running Windows 10.

  I would like to know how to solve this problem caused by the upgrade to Windows 10.

  Please follow these steps to try to resolve the problem:

  1. open outlook

  2. double-click on the email address that you want to print (the email must open in a separate window)

  3. click on file and then print

  4. in the print window, select your printer and click Print below options.

  5. in the window options printing, make sure that the print style is set to memo, and then click Page layout

  6. click the paper tab, and set the margins to 0.50 '' on all sides. Also make sure the paper type and size is set to letter.

  7. click OK and then try to print.

  Good so I had to update my post because I had to give the good news! However, that is how I am and I almost try everything and tinkering with different things. My audio works now. I went back the download Acer drivers and manual for my camera and I checked under 32-bit Windows 8, which was windows available. I installed my ID which has been deleted before when I had restarted or any number of things, I tried, and then I went in Drivers and installed the Master Installer. I made sure that I extracted all the files before proceeding with the installation. After it restarted my laptop I heard the Windows startup sound and I knew that it worked because I had no sound at all before. Not sure why it worked, but it did!   I had to replace a bad wireless router.  The new router put me online again very well, but my HP D7460 printer is no longer printing wirelessly from my PC.  Print jobs go to 'Pending', but do not print.  Suggestions as to how I might solve this problem?  Thank you!

  We will reset the printer and establish a new connection with your new router:

  1. Setup button on the screen.

  2 touch Tools.

  3. press to scroll through the options and then tap Restore Factory Defaults.

  Now, always at the front of the printer: Setup > network > Wireless Setup Wizard.  Follow the instructions to connect to your router again.

  You may be able to print after doing this or you will need to remove and add the printer in Control Panel > printers.  Let me know if you need help.

  Remember in the future if you want to uprade the computer or install the software on a new computer turn off the software first else it would give you the same error.

I connect on the second monitor through a USB 2.0 Port Replicator 2005pr HP.   There is corruption in Windows. It is possible that the printer driver has been corrupted, so we will need to remove it and reinstall.

  First, try the steps in this guide:

  Let's start by cleaning up your computer.

  • Cleaning disc in Windows 10

  • Perform the clean boot in Windows 10 / 8 / 7

  • Use the File Checker system to repair missing or corrupted system files. It's always a good idea to back up your data before proceeding:

  • File system check (SFC) analysis and repair system files & DISM to fix things that are not SFC.

  Remove printer drivers and reinstall:

  Step 1: Remove the printer:
