  But I recommend that you install current drivers first.
  I mean the driver audio, Chipset, ATI display driver or Bluetooth stack utilities.

  I have problems with installing the audio driver on my Satellite X 205 sli1. I tried to install the drivers from the realtek site, but they doesen't work. Then, I tried to install the patches 'kb835221' 'kb88811' and that the drivers but still nothing.

  I can't find the drivers on the toshiba Web site. In everest, I checked my audio device is - Realtek ALC268 @ Intel 82801HBM ICH8M - high definition Audio Controller PCI.

  Hey Buddy,

  In my opinion the easiest way is installation of Service Pack 3 for Windows XP. It contains patches for cards high definition sound and the other important security fixes. You can download it from the Microsoft Web site.

  But SP3 or patches must be installed * first * and then the audio driver. Otherwise it will not work.

  So my recommendations, uninstalling the audio driver and clean your system using the freeware CCleaner tool. Restart your computer and make sure and install SP3 if it s does not. After that, install the latest driver from the Web to Realtek site.

  I have some difficulties with the ATI driver. I have a Radeon HD2600 Mobility and in the past, my computer was working with the recovery CD drivers (drivers Catalyst 8.4 if I remember correctly). I could not update ATI drivers (I have Vista). I was used to the ATI site driver download, then run them and install them, but it never worked.

  Even under Linux (Ubuntu and Fedora), it was really hard to install, sometimes it as work, sometimes not, no particular reason.
  Today I decided to install Vista again, but not with the recovery CD, but with a CD Microsoft Vista Professional (thanks MSDNAA). But still I can not install these drivers, with drivers ATI and the drivers on the Web from Toshiba site are no longer available.

  I am currently updating of Windows and install all the rest, but I doubt it will change something. For now my graphics card is not recognized so no Aero, a bad screen resolution and everything is very slow.

  Is that what someone has experienced this problem? If not, can I still use the restore CD but I would rather not.

  I put t have this laptop but I checked the Vista drivers on the European driver Toshiba page and all THE drivers for Vista and the graphics driver are available.

  The laptop seems to belong to the series of PSPB6E and I recommend to use the driver from the Toshiba page.

  Page ATI drivers are not supported and certified by Toshiba and so you will not be able to install it by using a common procedure

  No, you can t install the AMD display driver because it doesn't support mobile graphics cards, it s only for cards of office.

  I looking for more recent display driver, use the latest version of the official page to download driver for A300D Toshiba. This driver is pretested and working properly. :)

  I don t think that Toshiba provides Win ME drivers for this device, and so you should Google in the internet for the graphics driver.

  I've never heard of it but first I have to say that this laptop was not delivered with Win XP and so maybe there's no direct support for this OS on this laptop Toshiba.

  Second, if you want to install Win XP Add SATA driver to the Win XP CD or installation Setup because new specifications to support the new type of controller SATA HDD and this controller has the SATA drivers that are NOT part of the Win XP.

  I think you tried a bad driver.
  Some of the A300 series supports a Conexant audio chip and some of these units are equipped with a Realtek audio chip to use the right driver for a sound card.

  Satellite A300 PSAG0A - 02100Q supports a chip (onboard) Realtek ALC268 sound and you have the Realtek HD audio driver.

  After that I bought my laboratory toshiba via ebay, without no recovery disk or dvd, everything was ok.
  But now I had an accident, nothing works now!
  I think that I would need all the drivers and-therefore-one.

  I put t know what you mean with the basic version, but all the available drivers are up-to-date and it works properly on your laptop.

  If you n t have a recovery CD so I assume that you will install the operating system from the original CD of Microsoft Windows. Then you can install all the drivers Toshiba and tools.
  But the Toshiba drivers must be installed in the correct order. In this case, installing the chipset utility first. The pilot chart and modules common are also important factors that must be installed at the beginning.

  I have the Satellite U400-PSU44E. It was the Vista Home Premium pre-installed spirit, but I had to install XP Pro.

  There are two drivers on the site of Toshiba, one of them reinstalled just fine but this one (nvidia, I think) had the same problem the other pilots.

  Someone please tell me what to do, because I'm really desperate to becaoming and I have seriously considered to throw my laptop out the window.

  According to specification for laptop, your laptop was supplied with preinstalled Win7 64 bit. If you have a few simpler problems is to put your laptop to factory settings and test features. Recovery image is tested and contains everything right and tested the drivers so everything should be OK.

  I agree with Akuma. Two weeks ago I also installed Windows 7 on a disk of Microsoft and after installing Windows 7, I started with installing the chipset driver. Then I installed the Intel Storage Manager, then display driver. After that, I installed the rest of the necessary drivers.

  I didn't use a special installation order. After installation, all devices have been properly recognized in device without yellow exclamation points Manager.

  First of all, I would like to answer these questions:

  No, this PSL33E shipped only with Vista and the Toshiba XP image does not exist for this L30 camera

  This is nothing unusual. The recovery CD Toshiba designed for other series of laptop does not work on the L30!
  You should only use specially designed for the PSL33E recovery CD!

  In my opinion all the questions that appear on the laptop are missing drivers or wrong!
  As you say all the XP drivers are available on the page of Toshiba Europe and must be installed in the order mentioned in the installation instructions!
  All patches are simply patches from Microsoft and this updates can be installed automatically by using the Microsoft Update page.

  Check this box:

  Notes; Sometimes, you have to restart the laptop several times and will need to run this update to install all available patches!
