Satellite M105-S3041 DVD player
Anyone know, which brand of DVD player should have Satellite M105-S3041, because in my PIONEER DVD-RW-DVR-K16A comp.is and I think that this driver is not DVD SuperMulti.
Why you just don't check s manuals for your laptop. There you should find a list of all the sides built into your laptop model. There are also list with all compatible dimensions. Most models of laptops come with a few different sides and it is possible that your laptop is delivered without player Super multi.
BTW: have you bought new and original book packed or maybe used one?

Satellite M105-S3041: where to find a second memory slot
Hello everyone!
I just desperately on the TOSHIBA forums for an emergency with a few tech question (more than a problem).
I own a TOSHIBA Satellite M105-S3041, I currently have Windows Vista Edition full, but only with 512 MB of RAM.
Yes, he did run the badly slow, so I bought 4 GB of RAM (two sticks of Kingston 2.0 GB).Now, the real problem comes when I begin to wonder "how I go to install", I turned upside down from my laptop and I find this small 'door' affluent as a memory icon little engraved.
So I guess that's where the RAM memory.
Now, my wealthy laptop RAM TWO modules for up to 4 GB of RAM, as stated in the User Guide, but when I opened the small 'gate' I saw that he was (or seemed to) that a SINGLE module and I couldn't see the stick of 512 MB of RAM today!Until "my computer is running on imaginary memory!
Laughing out loud! "and I can not find the second module!Help, please! I need to install any memory now and here where I live there Center support TOSHIBA No. or even a dealer who could help me!
So I depend only on TOSHIBA online support!, IF possible, in response, I can get a link to a video tutorial or maybe you guys include photos in your answers to guide me?Thank you very much!
Trino A.I think that it has already solved the problem. ;)
Otherwise, he would publish again.

Possible failure on the Satellite M105-S3041 of video card
I think that my video card can be past on my M Toshiba Satellite M105-S3041 series.
I had a green line down on the side of my screen on the width of a pixel for about a year.
There are also a few colored lines on the right side of the screen about 3 pixels long.Looks like blue-red-yellow lines.
Recently, I'll be on the computer and the icons and the taskbar will be blur and have a look blurry color similar to what you would see on a TV with no reception.Error messages will be displayed on the computer and whenever I'm on a Web site with the blurry icons, it will close the site and then finally I'll take the blue screen of death and the computer will restart.
I also noticed that the computer is running a little more slowly than before.
Any idea?
Hmm, unfortunately, but I think you might be right
The problem could be really related to the defective graphics chipBut if you want you can connect the laptop on the external monitor to check if it of really issue a GPU.
If the same lines would appear on the external monitor, then the graphics card is defective! It would be the worst case, because the whole motherboard must be replaced :(

Safe to buy adapters from Ebay for Satellite M105-s3041?
Hello
I just lost my power adapter for my computer Satellite M105-s3041.
I want to get a replacement, but I bought my computer in the United States and am not sure that a replacement would be a plug 3 pin UK.In the same way to another guy here I also wonder if it is safe to byuy adapters from e - bay that I don't want to pay so much money for a replacement adapter.
Any of you have experience with 2 bays replacements?
I do not know what adapter would be OK for my model,
I hope you can help,
Chris
For me, it seems that Satellite M105-s3041 is an American notebook series.
I checked the Toshiba page we and found this page:
[Satellite M105-S3041 specifications detailed | http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_outFrm.jsp?moid=1364114&rpn=PSMA0U&ct=DS&soi d = 1420312]
You need a 15V - 5A AC adapter with frequency 50-60 Hz (Universal) entry.
The Global PA2521U-2ACA Toshiba 90W AC adapter would be also compatible...You ask if it s safe to use an adapter from Ebay.
Well, generally, you must use compatible parts and supported.
But I think you can also use another part, but it is important that a 3rd party adapter would support the same specifications as the Toshiba power adapter. Then, everything should work ok

Satellite A500 - video/dvd player is not compatible with Windows 10
After having recently updated of my laptop for windows 10 I discovered that the dvd player does not work. A message is displayed informing that the player is not compatible with this version of windows. A scan using Norton suggests dvd will not work because it needs to be configured.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Obviously, Toshiba DVD playback application that is preinstalled on this Satellite A500 model is not compatible with the system Windows 10.
In this case this software will not properly work after the upgrade to win 10 and I guess you have to remove the system Win 10.
Unfortunately, the Satellite A500 is not listed as Win 10 portable computers and so I don't think you will get an update to this software for DVD playback.
Here is a list of models supported for upgrading to Windows 10

Satellite L300D-11V - DVD player does not work
Hello
I am a Satellite L300D-11V and the driver on the CD does not work. I think is not the right driver and an update of Windows could have messed up.
Anyone know where I can download the correct driver for the DVD player for Vista? Or solve this problem?Thank you
Mounira.
Hello!
I put t understand why you need a CD/DVD driver or tell you the driver does not work.
The CD/DVD driver for the reader is part of Windows. You don't need one and should not install a new or something else. When you have problems with the drive, it s not the driver, it s another issue.
Now have yellow marks in the Device Manager and can use the drive? On the right, a right click on the drive and select uninstall. Restart your laptop, and the driver should be installed automatically.
Good bye

Satellite P25-S520 - DVD player does not work properly
Difficulty of DVD player or buy the external drive
My DVD player does not work properly, in fact it can never work properly. Recently, I tried to back up my PC on a DVD using Norton 360. Norton did not recognize that the DVD was present. Then I tried to write a text file on a DVD and was a failure. DVD + R and DVD-R media were found to be (Maxwell 16 X).
I could have probably lived with this however, I received a copy of Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 10 on a CD and my Toshiba would not recognize it. I tried the CD in my laptop nearby and it was recognized.
An attempt to update the driver has also fails.
I was able to copy a CD of music last night so that at least works properly.
Does anyone know how can I fix? The important part is to be able to load my new program.
Research on some forums I found that other people have had problems with the Pioneer drive. If the drive can't be fixed, I'm not adverse to buying an external DVD drive. Unfortunately, where I live there is no brick and mortar stores selling external drives and I prefer to avoid the hassle of getting a drive online and discovering that it does not work with my Toshiba. Can someone suggest an external USB drive that will read and write CD and DVD and is certain to be compatible with my Toshiba?
Thanks for any help,

PIONEER DVD - RW DVR-K12D
Driver provider: Microsoft
Driver date: 01/07/2001
Driver version: 5.1.2535.0
Digital signer: Microsoft Windows PublisherAny external USB CD/DVD drive will be compatible with your laptop.
However, you won't be able to boot from CD (run recovery for example) If you are using an external drive.
So, your best option would be to replace the internal drive with a Toshiba drive designed for the laptop. Call an ASP and request a quote.

Satellite A205 - screwdriver-DVD Player problems
I have a Toshiba Satellite A205
My operating system is: Windows Vista: Home Premium, 32-bit operating systemI have a RUG * A DVD-RAM UJ-850 s ATA DEVICE
I haven't installed any strange software or had any new hardware installed, but the DVD player decided one day that it wasn't going to work. The CD still works fine, but the DVD player gave me at the beginning of messages as:
"An error has occurred in the audio output settings. Please check audio driver is set up correctly. "So I tried, update, then just uninstalled and reinstalled the audio driver. No luck.
I tried all sorts of things from other forums, and after a few weeks of this issue, I am at a total loss. I can not even find the real driver for this DVD player, it may be available, but there are so many forums on problems with this unit, I can't sort what is relevant to me and what is not. I tried the update, removal and relocation of the family of chipsets, I tried to completely clean all the drivers and re - install... and now as I said I can't even return original driver.
How do I fix this?
I don't know which DVD player, you used but, in my opinion, now the situation is quite complicated. Who knows what you have installed successfully, and what happens now.
I recommend you to follow:
Back up all your important data
Install the OS by using the recovery image (its windows should work fine)
Check in Device Manager if all the hardware components are installed correctly
Some audio CD and a function test
Check the functionality of DVD player (I recommend you to use VLC media player)If the problem persists let us know.

Satellite A100-447 - DVD player does not read some discs
Hello
I have a 4 month old Satellite 100-447 (PSAAN), came preloaded with Vista Home Premium and a carpet * CD/DVD super-multi UJ-850 s player.
The DVD player does not work properly. It will recognize a few blank, but never DVD-R DVD and won't recognise any DVD at all serious. He is very good with CD and DVD movie discs. It's just recordable DVD where there is a problem.
Also when you try to write to a DVD, when he chooses to recognize a TI-error in half way through.
What can I do?
Thanks for your help.
AdamHello
You can do the follwowing:
Go to this website http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp,
Download the latest update of the firmware for this drive, install it, and then try again.
Sometimes, the manufacturer must update their readers for the newer recordable media and so I think that it is possible that your drive is simply not up to date.
Welcome them
