Satellite M300-D4316 - wireless network detected but cannot connect

Previously, I could use LAN wireless on my laptop but last week because I signed up to a bluetooth connection, Wi - Fi connection no longer works.
It can even detect a wireless network around me; I don't see every time when I try to connect, & it asks me to diagnose the problem & said something like "the signal is too weak.

I'm sure that is not the problem of wireless service - all my friends can connect to him!

What should I do?

Maybe the wireless LAN tipped off?

Try to press Fn + F8 to toggle wireless devices.

Also make sure that the wireless switch is turned on in the front and the sides of the laptop.

It is a problem that I can not understand. I have a WRT54G Router. My phone can detect the WiFi but my phone can not conect to wireless network. I played a bit with all settiings on the http://192.168.1.1/wireless.htm Web page but can not understand. I think it's a software issue and not a hardware problem.

Can someone please help? I have appreciapte any help. Thank you.

Disable any wireless security, including the mac address filtering.

Change the wireless channel to between 5 and 9.

Change the width of the channel 20 mhz wireless.

If this fails, then reset the default router may be required and reconfigure.

  • G780 wireless doesn't work anymore; the networks are but cannot connect

I have a G780 bought earlier this year. It came with Windows 8, which I still use. Everything was working fine until today. All of a sudden I can't connect to my wireless network (I have a router that can have a 'network of comments' in addition to normal and I can not connect to one of these). I had been fiddling with the settings last night, but everything was working well. I can connect with other devices, so I know that the networks work.

Networks appear in the list of available networks, but every time I try and connect it just doesn't work. To make sure that I wasn't just typing the wrong passwords I tried to disable all security on one of the networks (so it was a totally open network without password), and the laptop still unable to connect. I tried to reboot the router wireless, by restarting the computer, update the driver for the wireless card, uninstall the drivers and reinstall them, activation and deactivation of the wireless card, by unchecking the option to disable card wireless to save energy and last computer ditch effort that I even did this "Refresh" of Windows 8 option that uninstalls all programs you install and resets the default options. Which included also to uninstall my antivirus program, so I tried to connect without that too. Nothing has made any difference.

Edited to add that I also downloaded and ran the diagnostic tool on the Lenovo site for my laptop and the version of Windows for wireless network problems and it did not show anything.

I'd appreciate really no indication as to what to do next. I'm good enough at the end of my mind with this.

It's the weirdest thing ever. I decided to give it a try once again just for the heck of it and like magic it works all of a sudden. I can now connect to two networks very well. I have nothing after my last try yesterday evening except put the computer into hibernation... I don't know how it works now, but I appreciate the help! I'll create a restore right now, just in case. Thanks for your replies!

  • Satellite A200-09V - card Wifi detected but never connected

    Hi all!

First of all, sorry for my English... so be cool with me!

I have a Toshiba Satellite A200-09V so I change my router to a DLink with 802.11n. So I buy an internal wireless card but the card is correctly detected, but never whant to be 'connected '.

The original card inside is an Intel 3945ABG.
When I turn on my laptop, on the front of my laptop, I have a little orange light with a switch to cut the card.

The card I buy is an Intel WiFi Link 5100 ABGN. But light, wathever I change the switch ON of OFF, again and always off the coast. Windows detects the card correctly and I install the right driver for intel, and in my equipment manager, the card is in the network card.

But the map never want to get "online"... I can turn the card but I can not connect (so I do not see the wireless near me).

I have the latest bios and driver... but it's like the laptop never 'talk' to the card and by the way, don't get pass the signal.

But why XP detects the card but not get cards online? If the card was bundles, XP will never be able to "detect" the card and if XP correctly detects the card, it's as if the card is compatible with the motherboard? Isn't it?

Thank you for helping be and I give you all the information you want...

The network without WIRE Intel 3945ABG card only does support A, B or G standard and your router has N.

So, you need to set the router to G standard or perhaps, you set up the router again to this standard and without security settings. It's the best way I think, and if it works, you can enable encryption and the security features more.

  • WiFi detected but cannot connect

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 and Windows 7 Starter. I've updated the BIOS, but now I can't connect to wifi plus. The various wifis are detected, they are not protected by word or whatever it is. But I can't connect them.

The little wifi light on the front Crest is on. I pressed the FN + F5 and makes sure everything is on.

    What can I do?

    Hello and welcome,

    try to reset the router...

  • X 200 wireless problem - detects available networks, but cannot connect to them.

    Hi all

I have a weird and annoying problem. My X 200 can detect wireless networks but refuses to connecto to them.

It's a brand new computer that I just received.

    Some info:

    ThinkPad X 200 7454-2HU, running Vista x 64.

Downloaded latest drivers installed, all using the autopilot to Lenovo download application.

The driver has detected in the Device Manager is: Intel Wifi Link 5100 AGN.

There is no problem with the wireless network (the other computers connect to it without any problems).

I tried to cancel the option "n", leaving a "b/g", but it did not help.

It is problematic that only one device in Device Manager, and it's "Controller of Bus SM" (cannot understand what it is and update windows or Lenovo update does not solve this problem).

When I use "Intel ProSet/Wireless Tools" diagnose, I get:

Test equipment: managed (wireless hardware is enabled)

Pilotass. Driver is loaded. NET w5v64 Versio: 12.0.0.82

Radio test: past. The radio is on.

Scan Testass. There are 12 networks available to connect.

    Association test: failed. No partner.

When I look at the statistics, it seems that the card receives bytes (nothing is sent).

What do you think? Is it a hardware problem or software?

No idea what can be done if it is a software problem?

    S.

  • NB200 can connect to wireless networks, but cannot connect to the internet

I could connect my Win XP netbook to my network wireless secured to the House, other networks and public networks such as the library and McDonald's. This week, I am away from home and discovered that while I can still connect to a number of different wireless networks, I can't connect to the internet with Internet Explorer.

I had this problem once before and fixed by reinstalling Windows XP and all my other software. I have no idea why it happened again. I'm hoping for a less radical solution to the problem... ?

    Hello

You can try to renew the IP address.
Got to RUN and type CMD.
This would start the console (DOS window)

Here, you use the command: ipconfig / renew

It s also advised to update the Wlan driver. I've noticed some problems with older drivers for Wlan
Here you can get the most recent:

  • Photosmart HP 7520: All wireless network devices will lose connectivity after printing

    Dear all,

I have a problem with my HP Photosmart 7520 printer where all wireless network devices will lose connectivity after a printer has been sent to the printer.

From any device, send a document to the printer.
    Printer prints document successfully.
Immediately after printer has printed all devices cannot access internet IP range ( including HP printer ) nor Internet nor router ( 198.168.0.1 ).

Number of brand and model of the router?

These settings are to set up your printer wireless (or wired):

    • Stay connected to your router
    • Trouble printer status 'offline '.
    • Wake mode 'sleep'
    • All wireless devices stay better connected

While the DHCP is convenient, devices like printers (wired and wireless) should always be assigned a (fixed) IP address manually to avoid conflicts on your wireless network and must be outside the range of the router DHCP.  After the adjustment of the static IP address the computer must be updated to show a Standard TCP/IP port with the IP address of printers under printer properties/Ports.

    1. Set a static in the printer IP address (click here) outside the range of the DHCP of the router (check your manual). It is for Linksys routers, but can be used for all routers. Check your DHCP range and change this first if necessary. More Help Wireless Printing is here and here and still more here.  Video here explains the problem and how to solve the problem. <--> So watch this!
    2. Or check in the printer "Auto Off/sleep/Energy Saving Mode" is disabled the System Mode Time Out is set to zero (0) Use the built-in webserver (EWS) by visiting the printer address IP address in the address bar of your browser, click on settings tab/Auto Off. Or use the printer, printer Home Page (EWS) Wizard. Also check your printer properties.
    3. If the printer supports and has IPv6 enabled, disable the IPv6 option in the printer.
    4. Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a socket wall and not to a UPS, power strip or a lightning arrestor. This will cause the printer to drop offline connection and disconnection (checked yes!).

Additional measures to take if you continue to have the problem (if they are posted)...

  • WAG-120N and static ip - wireless and wired clients cannot connect to the internet

    Greetings,

I use the N WAG-120 AP and switch for 3 computers laptops and 2 Office. Our Department is assigned only a what IP static of our server, as well as a pc can connect to the server and the internet. I use the first lan port of the 120N Wag as a WAN port and I attribute the static IP address, and the subnet, default gateway, and DNS addresses. Connected clients receive an ip address from the DHCP (192.168.1.10x) router, but cannot connect to the internet. How can I configure my router to allow clients to connect?

    Thank you in advance!

The default LAN IP of the WAG subnet is 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0 belongs to 192.168.0.0/255.255.0.0. This means that 192.168.1.0 IP addresses exist side WAN and LAN of the WAG. What makes this configuration completely cannot be routed.

Change the address LAN IP of the WAG to an IP outside the corporate network, for example using IP addresses private 172.16/12, for example to set the address LAN IP 172.16.1.1 with 255.255.255.0 subnet mask.

The alternative would be to use the WAG as a point of easy access only, and not as a router. However, due to the 255.255.0.0 subnet in your network company you will not be able to access the web interface except from an IP address corresponding to the LAN IP address subnet of the WAG. Of course, this does not affect the wireless or wireline customers connected to the WAG...

Right now your nat 0 (NAT exemption) follows the access list:

    permit access ip 192.168.0.0 scope list inside_nat0_outbound 255.255.255.0 172.16.0.0 255.255.0.0

    permit access ip 192.168.0.0 scope list inside_nat0_outbound 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0

Traffic back from your server to 192.168.0.4 in the pool of VPN (192.168.0.20 - 50) not correspond to this access list and thus be NATted. The TCP connection will not develop due to the failure of the Reverse Path Forwarding (RPF) - traffic is asymmetric NATted.

Then try to add an entry to the list of access as:

    permit access ip 192.168.0.0 scope list inside_nat0_outbound 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0

It's a bit paradoxical but necessary that your VPN pool is cut out in your interior space network. You could also do like André offers below and use a separate network, but you would still have to add an access list entry to exempt outgoing NAT traffic.

  • I can see the shared folder on the #2 computer but cannot connect.

I can see the shared folder on computer 2 but unable to connect. It is said "see... administrator permissions. When I go to the computer and creat a hand 1, I can see on the 2nd computer but cannot connect. I can connect to the shared printer on one 1 computer file.

When # 1 I can connect to #2 and open shared files (just like its supposed to!)

I have checked the basics, (I can connect to the Printers folder) file sharing.

Help, please. Both computers have a freash install WIN XP and have been updated to SP3 current peer-to-peer network, firewall is down, Microsoft Security on both

    Hello

Run on the supercomputer network configuration wizard.  If this doesn't fix the problem:

    1. download and install the Tools of the Windows 2003 Server Resource Kit .

    2. click on Start > all programs > Windows Resource Kit Tools > Shell .

    3. type these lines at the command prompt, exactly as shown:

    NET user guest/active: Yes
    NTRights + r SeNetworkLogonRight u comments
    NTRights - r SeDenyNetworkLogonRight u comments

    Kind regards

HP8500 A909A, the installation program recognizes printer, but cannot connect

    Ok.

It is installed by USB on the other printer?

    Did you share the printer?

have you set up a virtual usb port?

Have you tried to use the diagnosis of HP printer installation utility to help Setup and configuration of your printer?

It would have been simpler to use the LAN connector so the other PC online would not be a condition for its availability.

    (1) connect the printer with the LAN connector to your network switch or router and turn it on.

    (2) make sure that the IP address of the printer is your network subnet via the embedded Web server or printer print Panel menu.

    (3) set it up as a network on all PCs compuuter to make it available for use
