  My A60 is not so old and after 20 minutes after ignition, the screen flashes constantly for about 10 minutes then stops then starts again. I thought that maybe it's something to do with the computer over heating, but its not even hot and the fan is not blocked. Any Suggestions?   Hi aleeg81, it sounds like the power of the backlight may be suffering from malfunction any or there is a loose video connection. Have you tried to adjust the options and the brightness of the screen to see if it improves things to save energy? If the problem persists and your laptop is under warranty, I would recommend send to Toshiba for investigation. Twinkle is not normal and should not be tolerated if your laptop runs hot or not.   This is a known issue and appears to be caused by the new workspace of departure.

  To disable the workspace to boot, go into Photoshop preferences > General > uncheck "Show Start Workspace" > restart Photoshop.

  You should be able to solve this problem in re - download iTunes from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ 12.3.2.25 and re-install.  The iTunes Store/flickering screen flashing was present in the original version of this release (since 9 December), but Apple slipped out a re - build (unfortunately and wrongly with the same build number) on December 23/24, which seems to fix most / all users.

  There is another question - peut-related - which affects display iTunes on very high resolution screens.  Everything first, that appears in iTunes 12.3.1 but is not fixed yet, although it may be mitigated by reducing the size of the iTunes window.

  You can perform a restore of the system to a previous point when everything worked well. This will cancel the changes made to the list of Windows Firewall and will allow you to work on the computer without problems.

  Hey everyone, I have a question about my monitor/screen on my laptop. My laptop is a Compaq CQ58 running Windows 8. Whenever I'm on my laptop (especially of office) there is this thin white line on the top of my screen flashes constantly.   You might face this problem because of corrupted display driver. Please provide the following details.

  You did changes to the display settings prior to this problem?

  I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the display on the HP website driver and check if it works.  Follow the steps below.

  Uninstall and reinstall the HP website display drivers.

  Step 1: Uninstall display drivers from the Device Manager.

  1. Press the Windows key + X , and then select Device Manager
  2. You can get display drivers and expand it.
  3. Right-click on the display drivers and select Uninstall.

  Toshiba Satellite M300 on 18 months old (using Windows 7). Display has had intermittent problems. Screen flashes to a white screen. Now if the lid is moved while he was working, "white" screen completely and returns to normal when returned to 'the sweet spot '!

  Theoretically, it could be a problem of connecting cable or internal problem display but you should test another monitor first. Just connect an external monitor to check the image here.

  If the external monitor works properly it s the LCD cable internal or visualize a malfunction. So, contact a service provider and allow technicians to check your laptop. They can fix this problem and order new parts. :)

  Yes, I agree with you that there may be a problem with the connection.
  But it of not possible to say exactly what's wrong.
  It may be something wrong with the sensor that turns the backlight on and off, or maybe something wrong with one cable

  There is no other choice for that pick up if the guarantee is available (it should be valid 2 years long if the laptop has been saved) then should be set the laptop for free.

  I have a toshiba A100, Go 7600 Gpu, just bought there is two weeks and im very pleased with the quality and performance far :), just noticed one thing today, the room was turned off and the laptop turns off with the screen in open position, I leave it open normally when at home, I noticed that the screen flashes as fixed every 1 min in what appears to be an interval of time with or without AC connected, not a flash very bright but not easy to notice, but I'm sure the flash, so my question is should I worry about this?   What do you mean with the screen? The LCD internal? Maybe you didn t stop the machine itself.

  I also suggest you update your bios and your drivers, maybe it s just a software related issue...

• Satellite L100 series starts the error message

  I have a Satellite L100 series PC laptop I've had for a few years now and he's got a problem. When I boot it it goes as far as the windows loading screen then flashes blue for a mili second then restarts. I try to start safe mode, and it produces a long list that has the following text:

  I have problems with my laptop. I have a toshiba satellite pro A120, but for the last two days, the bottom of my screen flashed black from time to time. Usually, it blinks for about a minute then works fine for a few minutes then flashes again etc.

  By the way: what display driver you have installed right now? Sometimes I read here in the forum that no Toshiba display drivers problems, so I recommend you to install the latest version of Toshiba directly.

  Last but not least with an external monitor, you can check where the problem is: either internal monitor or graphics card but I think that, in both cases, you need assistance from an authorized service provider to swap the part.
