  Reinstall El Capitan without erasing the drive

  LIghtroom 6a fonctionnee om my 10 (x 64) of Windows without problem for 6 months.   You suggest to choose the option to create a catalog and give it the name once you get the pictures folder window, and then choose create.

  This would create a new catalog.

  check if it opens the new catalog, and it passes under the background processes in the Task Manager.

  I decided to reinstall windows, my hard drive is now formatted. So as usual, boot from the Windows CD is necessary to start the instalation but it does not start. I never had problems like this, always worked boot. It's as if there is no bootable CD in the drive (but it is bootable and it works on another PC).
