Satellite M50D-A-10W - Windows 7 WLan need driver

Can you help me please on how to install the driver for this model wireless on windows 7?

Thank you!

Unfortunately your laptop is not supported for Win7, and the driver is not available for download.
I think that your model of laptop has Atheros WLAN card. Am I right about that?

I found another model of laptop that should have the same WLAN card but it is supported for Win7 64 bit.
You can download the driver from here.

Test it please and post comments.

    > No download on the Toshiba site
According to specification for laptop, your laptop computer has Realtek Wireless LAN Adapter 8187 B and it is certainly available on Toshiba WLAN Portal under http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads

    > realtek drivers Don t work
Does that mean exactly? You have some problems to install or wireless network card correctly (listed in the Device Manager) but you cannot use it for the WIFI connection?

    My question is simple:
Can I install Windows 7 on Toshiba Satellite M50D-A-10W?
I would stick to my Windows XP but I wanted to upgrade the operating system, and Windows 8 seems kind of funny to me.
    Thanks in advance!

Visit the page of the driver Toshiba UE and the section download M50D-A Satellite.
You will find Windows 7 drivers

By the way: you need the AHCI driver to get recognized HARD drive
Here's the direct link for the driver:

  • Satellite M50D-A-10W - search for Win 7 64 bit drivers

    Hello.

I bought the computer Toshiba Satellite M50D-A-10W.
Can you give me references to x 64 windows 7 drivers

(Wlan, touchpad, Realtek High definition audio driver, Realtek GbE & FE Ethernet PCI-E NIC)

    Thank you.

64-bit Windows 7 drivers are not available for Satellite M50D-A-10W
Currently, you can only find drivers of Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.

So you have to search the drivers of your own hands.

    For example:
Realtek audio driver as well as the network adapter driver may be downloaded directly from the Realtek page. You can also use the driver for the touchpad that came out for the series of older satellites like C50D, L50D, etc.

The wireless network card is an Atheros WB335 chip. You can also view the Atheros drivers released for other series.

  • Satellite M50D-A-10W - error "reboot and select proper boot device."

I have a Toshiba Satellite M50D-A-10W passing me all nuts "reboot and select proper boot device."

This has happened before and it was solved by ctr-alt-del and F12 to get into the BIOS where the date went back to some time in 2010 - after put so far and to change the boot device, everything worked fine... until the next day.

Now I get the screen "reboot and select good boot device ', but the F12 key does not; I also tried F2... the message keep multiplying, no BIOS...
    Help, please!

In some cases the BIOS is only accessible by pressing the button turn off force on the lower side of the unit.

    Info:

After that you were able to start the windows system, its highly recommended to update the BIOS as BIOS update would solve this annoying problem.

    Rare Hi

  • Satellite M50D-A-10W does not start after the battery is completely empty

    I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite laptop Satellite M50d-A-10W AMD A, 15.6.

I have problem when the battery is completely empty I have to use the needle achieve hard reset the switch behind the laptop... so I can't enter in bootmode with f2

How can I solve the problem?

    Thank you

I guess you are talking about the shutdown procedure force as described in this document:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB3C03JR0000R01.htm

This problem can appear in case the PC freezes, do not start or has a power failure.

I think that the laptop turns off in case the battery is completely empty. In this case the system does not close properly.
As the default state, the system keeps laptop but usually the unit carries out a stop of the hybrid. This procedure allows the laptop to start much more quickly, but it could affect the system startup in case something goes wrong during the process of closing.
You can disable this hybrid mode and in my opinion, it is also recommended.

    Details:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB2B03EY0002R01.htm

However, to avoid these problems, it of very important to correctly perform the closing procedure.

I tried Vista drivers but does not work. I have try on http://driverscollection.com/ but I can not find something that works

    Help please:)

    Thank you

    Ivan

Windows 7 is not released until the final version and that's why you won't find not all Win 7 drivers. In most cases, you will need to research and test

The LAN chip seems to be that the Realtek so you should get maybe driver Realtek LAN driver to go to the Realtek page would work.

The WiFi chip should be an Atheros so we're looking for WLan Atheros WLan driver that could be compatible with Win 7.

  • Re: Satellite P750-114 - WLAN need driver

    Hello

I really need help to find the driver on the right wireless for my Satellite P750-114-PSAY3E-02D002EN. I went through the trouble to install Windows 7 without using the recovery disk that you can get from the hidden HARD disk (I had 300 GB of files I didn t want to lose) and I got a nightmare to find the drivers for this laptop. (you mind I was warned by friends that Toshiba can be a real pain, but it's actually an understatement).

Now (after a few days?) I m at the point where most things work outside my wireless.

I ve found an old diagnosis tool PC Toshiba which is a bit difficult, but he said it s a realtek driver that I need, but I can t say that and that support Toshiba installs, I downloaded and then nothing happens. All suggestions are welcome!

    Thaaanks!

According to specification for laptop, your laptop has Atheros WLAN with integrated BT card
For WLAN driver check Toshiba download page - http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp or WLAN Portal directly - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/. I think that here you can find the Win7 drivers.

  • New WLAN need driver for Satellite L755-M1M3

    Hi gentlemen;

I am facing problem with Wireless Driver in point 8.1 of Windows I need to update new driver compatibility with my laptop Satellite L755-M1M3, the driver on the manufacturer's Web site is old and cause my wireless not connect correctly, please is there any new driver?

I ve tried to find a few laptop specs for your laptop to Googling autour but al I found was info that your laptop was offered with Win7 64 bit. I was not able to find out in which country this Satellite model was offered.

In other words, I was not able to check any download page and see if your laptop is supported for Win8/Win8.1 or not. If this is not the case, this driver can be quite problematic.

Can you please provide some info on this laptop model?

  • Satellite A100 - 01 G-Windows 7 drivers needed

    Hello world.

I spent the last 4 hours on the search for a drivers for satellite A100 - 01 g (psaare-05p02jav). Ideal for windows 7.
I'm quite surprised that there is no such a model on the official website.

    I'm looking for a
    device acpi\tos1901 unknown

I am a technician COMPUTER called so no stupid answers please.

Drivers for your machine, you can find on Toshiba download page - http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp but under Archives.
You will find this option when you open the options for the type of product.

Unfortunately your laptop is not supported for Win7, just for Vista.
In any case, you can try to use the drivers or the drivers Vista A200. I hope that it also works on your machine. I have a good experience with A200 and Win7, but not with A100 so I can't provide concrete assistance.

  • Win8 WLAN need driver for my Satellite L655-1Jn

    Hello

I installed Windows 8 in this laptop and everything seems to go well despite there are no specific drivers for my model (thanks toshiba), but I had a problem of wireless driver. Actually the driver installed by windows did wireless work for a bit, but after a reboot i saw that the download speed is limited to 25-30 kb/s... . So I thought that it was because the driver was not appropriate and so I installed this [Driver | http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/downloadDetail.jsp?pf=true&soid=3462043]

But after awhile, I noticed that this driver has the same problem. The only way to make the wireless connection work correctly is re - install the drivers, but it works only until the next reboot, or the suspension of windows 8. Is there a driver that would work very well with this broadcom card, better if it is a beta driver?

Thank you very much in advance.

The first news on the wireless network card: your laptop is Wi - Fi 11 b/g/n + BT V2.1 + EDR (Broadcom BCM94313) card inside this beta version should be OK.

It's that there is no other driver WLAN only available on the Toshiba support page. Still is it that your laptop is not taken in charge for Win8 and, unfortunately, all other models with the same WLAN card are not on the list of supported models Win8.

Have you tried to consult the WLAN card manufacturer support page?

  • Satellite L300-12 b Windows XP WLAN issue

    Hello
    ,
I installed windows xp on my l300-12 b and got everything works except for the LAN and WLAN.

My problem is that I downloaded the WLAN driver for the chipset of RTL 8189 (the one for XP,) of course and I can't get the wlan to work, I could install the driver with this 2 lines inserted in the .inf - I hope you know what I mean (English is not my mother tongue as you may have noticed).

There is no error or something like that, but the WiFi network doesn't detect a network (wlan switch is on), I don't know if it has something to do with the fn - keys missing... but the LAN concludes also no network. When I plug the cable windows notice this, but I can't ping my router or whatever it is, there is no connection.

    Thanks for your help

    Hello

So, are you sure that you ve installed the right LAN, WLan drivers at 100%?

As far as I know this laptop L300-12 b was equipped with driver and the Realtek 802.11(b/g) 13ch-RTL8187B WLan chip Realtek 10/100 Base-TX LAN.
After installing these drivers device manager shouldn't t shows no yellow exclamation point. It's important!

After correct installation check network properties: Wlan and Lan.
There are different protocols. You must choose the TP/IP Protocol and click on properties.

All parameters such as the IP address and DNS should be set to assign automatically, or something like that.

    See you soon

    > I changed the start to the CSM Boot mode and don't know what to do next

Next to change the to MSC mode UEFI boot mode, you must disable secure boot option.
Check and disable this option. Save the changes and try to boot from the installation media.
