  I have the Satellite Pro P300 in front of me. I use it almost 4 weeks now and I press the Start button, very gently and keep it down to the second or two and laptop starts fine everytime I want to start it.

  Do not press the button quickly several times but slowly and keep it down for a second or two.

  as I said in the other thread that has already been closed, I bought a used Satellite phone who would not start of 3rd party DVD - RW (Quanta Storage SDW-042) included, even if Windows couldn't read well enough.

  I found out why, starting with the help of the user answers in the other thread.

  In the user manual, there is a description in the capitel on the configuration of the system about tconfig, which proved to be a valuable indication: HDD = Primary IDE (1F0H/IRQ14) (...), CD = secondary IDE (170 H/IRQ15). Compared to my desktop, it seems to me that two readers need to be masters on no. 1 and no. 2 cable, not as master and slave on the same cable from HARD drive. So, my CD-ROM would probably be master.
  Then I did the research further into the issue and found out, that there is no CD-ROM where select things cable if they are master or slave. Then I found in
  http://www.dschen.de/laptop_brenner/ a note in his Toshiba Satellite Pro 4290, seemed to be no Cable Select and his planned book on the CD (or DVD player, he wants to use) as a master.

  If you have a laptop model European 0 initially upwards will help any. You must use F8 at startup to display the advanced startup options. Is the option repair my computer available?

  Anyway, OS is probably screwed and new installation OS can help. Enter the BIOS and set it to default settings. According to redo this cell phone start and press F12 to get into the boot menu. When the boot menu appears on the screen, place the recovery in the optical disc drive disk, choose the CD/DVD device from the menu and press ENTER.   I can boot into safe mode.
  Have not had any other problems with it - no errors, do not have installed/uninstalled anything recently.

  The PXE message means that the device is trying to boot from the network. I put t understand you a lot with C and D HD. I assume you mean that you have two partitions on a single HARD disk. C partition for the operating system and the D partition for your data.

  If I understood you as soon as you cannot boot operating system at all. On this path, it is not easy to say what may be the problem but obviously you a problem with the HARD drive. It is probably defective. If the recovery DVDs is not able to detect one that there may be a serious problem.
