  I finally have a working tv. Except that its black and white. I used the click right-> NVIDIA Control Panel and changed the signal. I live in the Netherlands, where B/PAL is the standard. But even in trying all the different types of signals I don't get any color.

  Someone else has had this problem and solved? I downloaded the nvidia latestet drivers and I'm desperate, I bought the laptop to make it work!

  the problem is that the nvidia drivers are still not final. I have an A100 and desktop system and two systems have problems with tv output. It s Yes, probably a clear driver problem.

  I have the same problem with my A200 - 19L. Before I started using the mouse A4tech MOP - 60 d my touchpad worked very well in Vista, Windows 2008 Server, Fodora 7, Ubuntu. Now it doesn't work at all.

  Looks like there could be two problems:

  (1) a screen problem, LCD or inverter
  (2) a supply problem, probably the motherboard.

  The problem here is not in VMware Workstation or your host, its your NAT:ed internet connection.

  I was able to copy a CD of music last night so that at least works properly.

  Does anyone know how can I fix? The important part is to be able to load my new program.

  Research on some forums I found that other people have had problems with the Pioneer drive. If the drive can't be fixed, I'm not adverse to buying an external DVD drive. Unfortunately, where I live there is no brick and mortar stores selling external drives and I prefer to avoid the hassle of getting a drive online and discovering that it does not work with my Toshiba. Can someone suggest an external USB drive that will read and write CD and DVD and is certain to be compatible with my Toshiba?

  Any external USB CD/DVD drive will be compatible with your laptop.

  However, you won't be able to boot from CD (run recovery for example) If you are using an external drive.

  So, your best option would be to replace the internal drive with a Toshiba drive designed for the laptop. Call an ASP and request a quote.

  hope that this issue has not been covered before, but I've owned a Satellite P200 for 3 years now, and this week, it crashes all the time.

  When it started going down he gave me a few messages in the sense of "your graphics card/driver does not work properly and windows will be arrested to avoid damage.

  I ran a system restore but the problem remains.

Then, I uninstalled and reinstalled, but it always happens in the Device Manager under "unknown - SMC IrCC - Fast Port infrared (IR Module: HP). (with an exclamation point).   If your HARD disk contains two partitions and you have saved the data on a second you can reinstall the operating system on the first partition using recovery DVDs.
