Satellite P100-113 screen erased and now just keeps trying to restart
Salvation was using my Satellite P100-113 fine the other day and then the screen went white environment of use. Now he just tries but fails to restart all the time.
All lights light up and lights up the screen but in fact, nothing appears on the screen (no text or whatever) and then just wait a few seconds, stops and then darkens as if its just try to restart again. Can't do anything with him - so he just guard cycling and try to restart as long as you hold the power button or simply unplug and let the battery.
Any ideas anyone? Thank you
Kay
Hello
Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter.
Wait a few minutes (40 - 60 min) and reconnect the two parts.
Then try to restart the computer and press F2 for the BIOS.
If you will be able to access the BIOS and set it the default settings.
Check if this short workaround solution will help you.

I recently got my restored iPod and now I'm trying to open it. He tells me that my Apple ID, once I have try to connect, cannot be used on my IPod. I tried to remove the device from my iTunes account and change my Apple ID but nothing works. But I still want later to register my ipod to my itunes for re account - download all my songs and others. I don't know what else to do.
You need to use the recovery of modified ID used in environments > iCloud on the iPOd.

Satellite P200D-139 - blank screen suddenly and now empty start
Therefore, given a laptop to take a look at, now the problem she has is that she played Sims one night and left the phone on during 10 minutes while she went downstairs, now when she returned the laptop screen was blank. She turned it off and back on again and the screen would just light up.
I had a look myself and I can confirm that something is wrong, I asked if she had accidentally pressed any key on the keyboard is to say FN + screen off and she said that she had not.
I plugged it up to my TV via the VGA port at startup and after leaving the laptop 10 mins and nothing, the laptop is booting, you can hear the fans and hard drive and the lights in the front are all to give a positive response but as above the custom of the screen lights up.
Anyone able to help?

Microsoft Windows VistaThank you
JamesHmmmmm... strange.
Try to start Notepad with AC adapter only, or only to the batteries.
Unplug the two and leave it for a while and check if the same thing will happen again.
You can try to remove the HARD drive and see if the laptop will start correctly (BIOS and Toshiba welcome screen).Do these small tests and post the result.

Satellite L750 - BIOS check error and now the screen is blank
Good yesterday my laptop was working fine and was recommended to an update of the BIOS so I downloaded and tried while he was hooked up to update the BIOS, at half way through she says check error and nothing else, I therefore closed the BIOS window thing and close the cover I did not stop the computer.
Today, I opened the lid and just fan continues to operate and the CPU light flashing but nothing else. What should I do? I tried the F12 and F2 method, nothing happens the screen does not come on, I will try to use an external monitor later in the day, but I don't think that is the problem.
Thanks in advance even if I'm not all green if it's a BIOS problem. The laptop is less than 6 months old.
Hey,.
> I'll try to use an external monitor later today, but I don't think that's the problem.
I put also don't think the monitor is the problem if it happened since the BIOS update.> if this is a BIOS problem
With other words, turned something went wrong during the update of the BIOS and now it s a BIOS problem. Updating the BIOS is always a little risky If you do the update only if it of really necessary. Don t update the BIOS if you see there is a new version, but everything is ok. Never touch a running system ;)In any case, now you need an ASP to get rid of this aid. Guys have to reflash the ROM module professional tools:

It makes no difference if the noebook is 6 months or 6 years ;) -
Satellite P100-160 - screen Vertical burst
Satellite P100-160 my son has developed a fault on the screen that no one seems able to identify the cause of.
If you imagine that the screen is divided into six equal vertical columns about 3 inches wide, the third vibrates from top down so that the image is blurry. Sometimes it stops after an hour - but recently it just keeps going. The other "columns" are very good. What is the screen itself (easily replaceable), or the video card (on the motherboard) or another component such as the inverter?
For now I'm not sure if scrap it and buy a new one or replace the screen.Any ideas?
Hey,.
I think that the best way to address this issue must connect to an external monitor to your laptop. If you notice the same problem on external monitor the problem is related to the graphics card itself. If the display is faulty and must be replaced.
Then connect an external monitor and check what's happening!

Satellite L350D - 12 M - BSOD and now it won't start up
Hi all
I use my Satellite L350D almost everyday with no problems (it is around the age of 18 months). I left it over the weekend and when I got home I started it upwards and once everything was loaded I got the dreaded blue screen of death. I restarted my computer, but it is simply a noise whirring while the screen is off. I tried to leave message to see if the screen lights up, but apparently not.
When I started it again after leaving it from one day to the next I got to a screen where it says I pourrais either press F2 or F12 (I think), but the keyboard was not record the fact that I was pushing the keys.
Any thoughts?
Hello
Just a simple question: have you tried an external monitor on the laptop? Maybe the display internal doesn t work properly.
Check this box! However, in your case, I will try to remove the battery and the AC adapter. Wait an hour and then reconnect the two devices. Now, you should try to restart the laptop.
In the worst case, it s a hardware problem and you need professional help :(authorized service provider

Satellite P100-202 - screen freezes
Hi, first I would like to say that I think that it is a recurring problem of Toshiba, because I have a friend who has exactly the same thing happens to the Toshiba PC. Here's how it goes:
While working on the laptop / PC, all of a sudden the screen will freeze, although everything that happens again and first if I wavered the screen a bit it would start working again. Sometimes, it was necessary to apply pressure to the center of the screen for this suddenly. Now he's got one so bad that I have to constantly put pressure on the upper left of the screen so that it can continue to operate (exactly the same on my friend's PC).
I feel that soon even that won't work. If I leave the screen when it freezes, it fog slowly and finally grey with some colored vertical lines. Yet once, it snaps back immediately when I press top left corner of the screen (I have to continue to support on in the contrary case, it freezes again). No one knows what causes this common malfunction of Toshiba and how to fix it?
I would be grateful responses until my laptop works most completely! '~'
Hi trrttrry,
This question really strange s but I never read this topic on Satellite P100 here in the forum so I think that s an individual case.
Regarding your description, it could be loose cable connection or display malfunction itself. You tried an external monitor?
In my opinion you should ask a technician for laptop help. They can check the cable connection and order a new one if it of really necessary.

Satellite P100-277 - recovery connection and WLAN problem
Hi, I have a Satellite P100-227 and of the format and reinstall windows. First of all, the Toshiba Recovery disk wouldn't work - it would go through the motions, but windows would freeze on the screen where it is intended to calibrate your screen before entering the windows installation. It is the SECOND disc I bought at Toshiba who broke by the way! I'm worried about my CD before ask you, I used this disc once before to shape about a year ago and it has not been touched for. I tried both discs and no work - the other oldest won't read even since the drivers of compression at the beginning of the recovery.
So I'm an old XP disc (I run XP btw) and decided to try to install windows this way to check that my laptop was working, which is - I installed XP very well to a good Windows disc and a code is legitimate. However, I have now no drivers for my laptop and the internet does not work - my wireless will not connect at all, let alone register that there is a wireless connection (he used to appear in the lower right, once it was turned on). "When I go to Device Manager and look for network adapters, all there is ' 1394 Net adapter" is said works very well.
I wonder if there is no drivers for my wireless card, as I have not used the Toshiba restore disk. I tried to put in the 'work' toshiba disk in to see if there are drivers out there that I can access but can't find anything. I can't afford, or be bothered to order a different CD from Toshiba that will break after a format, so my question is; can someone link me to the drivers/software I need for my laptop to connect wirelessley to internet please?
I hope I gave enough information for a person to be able to answer me - I need my laptop ASAP to work!
Thank you!
Hello
Perhaps this Toshiba HowTo might help you:
http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/Ann.jspa?annID=78I think that you didn t find a good driver Wlan and that's why you couldn't get the WLan to work.
Check the Wlan card, then you will get the right driver.PS; Here you can find all WLan drivers for Toshiba laptops.

Satellite M70 164 - screen freezes and goes black, overheating
Hello world! :)
Recently my Satellite m70-164 started to freeze after only a few minutes of work. The picture on the screen freezes, and a few seconds later, it becomes completely black.
The computer doesn't even have time to warm up, and it's not stop... It's just the screen that freezes and becomes so black. I have to reset the computer by pressing the power button. (I write from another computer).I noticed that working time reduced whenever I have reset the computer and after some time it freezes even though I am in the BIOS settings, so I don't think it's an OS problem.
Even if the computer does not have time to warm up, this suggests it might be a heat problem.
So I tried pointing a fan this is low (a big, like the ones we use in the summer), and it works without problem! With the fan facing these, I reinstalled Windows - so no Virus.
Laptop fan * not * continue to operate as it is overheating.
The fan runs and it is not clogged as I've cleaned. So if anyone has the same problem, or ideas, please respond!
(And sorry for my English)
Thanks in advance! : DHey Buddy,
I agree with you. In this case, even in the BIOS, that it has nothing to do with Windows or a Virus. In this case, it seems to be a hardware malfunction
But before contacting an authorized service provider to diagnose what part is the cause, clean your laptop using a jet of compressed air. This should be done from time to time (every 4 months) and, therefore, it of not necessary to disassemble the laptop.
Check this box!

Satellite P100 - the screen goes black
Hello
I have a Satellite P100 and randomly, the screen goes black but the system continues to operate. I downloaded the latest drivers from toshiba, all power options the maximum support, run ccleaner and driver Sweeper to remove the old entries driver, re-installed the login screen of the mobo and nothing seems to work.
The screen goes black sometimes when using windows but STILL turns black as soon as the ramps of gpu for example of playing a video or comparative analysis of the graphics card.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Model: Toshiba Satellite P100-PSPA6A-02NO21
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T7200@2GHz
GPU: Nvidia Quadro nvs 510 m
Chipset: Intel i945PM
HARD drive: Fujitsu 148GB
RAM 2 GB
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 operating systemHey,.
> ALWAYS goes black as soon as the ramps of gpu for example of playing a video or comparative analysis of the graphics card.
This means that the graphics card is defectiveTheoretically, it could be an overheating problem too. Higher time can also cause a black screen. You should try everything that is possible to clean your laptop using the jet of compressed air to blow the dust from the cooling fans.
If it doesn t help it seems to be a hardware malfunction but seriously a point would be interesting: have you noticed the same thing with preinstalled OS (Vista) Toshiba?

Satellite P100: Black screen but I can hear the sound of Windows OS
Hello
I have a problem on my Satellite p100.
I broke the screen or something! When I start the computer I press the Start button and the laptop start normal. But the fact is that the computer starts but not the screen.
The screen is not from, but the computer does!
The screen is black, but I've heard say that im in windows beacause of the sound beginning...
I didn't break the screen,Can Some1 help me? Please, I beg you!
Maybe you accidentally switched the display on an external monitor? :|
Have you tried to use the FN + F5 key combination to return the display on the laptop? In addition, I would recommend linking the external monitor to the laptop to check if something appears on a second external display.
If this does not help with this strange problem I would recommend contacting the ASP in your country. Maybe, display works really bad and a very small part or whole LCD screen needs to be replaced
Good luck
