Satellite P200 (PSPB6E) - screen LCD cleaning and new display drivers

I have P200 almost 2 years (which means the end of a guarantee for me soon) and after about a year, bad pixels began to appear. I do not know exactly if all (it's more than 10 now) are in fact the bad pixels. Compared to other laptops Toshiba, I have always had lower edge of the frame of the screen a little loose (so he leans a little after I push in the middle of it and a lot of dust and dirt continues to fall below) and there was a time where I have even a piece of hair between the transparent cover of the lcd screen and the Panel itself (after a certain time it fell under the bezel by itself).

I would like to ask, if it is possible to remove the transparent cover of the screen so I can clean from inside?

I want to avoid a scenario, when a service provider told me that there is an insufficient number (according to the ISO standard) bad pixels for repair under warranty, so all that waiting to get the laptop to and return service was actually for nothing.

Also, is there somewhere a new VGA driver for this laptop? There Radeon HD2600 and the latest driver download from Toshiba site is July 22, 2008. I also tried ATI.com but it's as if HD2600 was no model ATI. The standard Catalyst drivers for versions of office do not work and there is no HD2600 specialized drivers, except those of Toshiba. I think that this will become a problem even more acute when Windows Seven will be put in place and with a lot of users is no longer manufactured portable (and many of them ignored Vista if their material has enabled), will seriously consider trying the new OS and there is no VGA compatible driver for her, because some Toshiba forgets to update them and ATI seems that they don't care.

To be honest right now I n do what cover you average, but normally it s not necessary to clean the LCD from the inside.
Also it of a bit more difficult to remove the cover plastic around the LCD and you really must pay attention to not destroy as this plastic is very sensitive.

The funny thing is that my friends 10 years old computer with old geforce 4 mx graphics of old maps Proccesor than mine and 512 MB ram ddr 1 IS able to play movies through television smoothly.

    Laptop bought in July 2007, the Windows Vista Business operating system.
    Vista windows update immediately so don't know not if the following problem was there before I updated.

  • Satellite P200 - 17 c freezes sometimes and the images have a red tint

    OK heres the problems...

    So year ago my computer crashed a lot, I am finally really bored with it so I erased the memory cool.
    Then after doing this, the problem has been resolved, but a new problem came.
    A red hue on everything I have not a clue of how else to to describe. The lines of each image for example a piece of grass has its image in red.
    It seems to just terrible and ruins all movies etc. which is annoying because im fond of youtube.com, I decided to open the laptop (which proved be a pig to open) and cannot find the problem, but when I closed the laptop and shake him a slight noise rattling at the top left of my laptop nearby speakers is here... (laptop = p200 - 17 c)

    What you can do now is to reinstall the OS with delivered Toshiba Recovery DVD.
    Test this with preinstalled OS clean and without any additional software on the subject.

    My touchpad works but I can't seem to get the scroll button to work at all.
