  I wonder if someone can please help me with a recurring error message I get randomly when starting up. I have a satellite P30-110, with WXP Home SP2 installed. Mobile P4 3.2Ghz processor, 512 RAM, ATI mobility Radeon 9600/9700 series.

  Turns off the computer as usual last night. He walks this morning and think that it load the bios OK and then got the black background with Win XP, and then think about this error page came. Has a blue background with the following text:

  I turned the computer off, then restarted when prompted chose to start windows normally, and it seems to start up fine.

  If this is the first time, you've seen this error, I'm not too concerned about it. There are not too many people who have not encountered this scenario occasionally.

  The time to worry, if it happens regularly, as this may indicate a component defective that will need to be diagnosed later.

  On this occasion, I suspect that the start process has detected an anomaly any (possibly a play on hard drive control) and rather than allow Windows to continue it stopped with the error on blue screen.

  I need to replace the power supply for my Satellite P30-110.

  The main web site search gives three options: PA3336E-1ACA, PA3381E-1ACA, and PA3290E-2ACA (e = 1 http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/options_and_accessories_search_by_model.jsp?servic = UK & selSeries & selFamily = 2326 & SelCategorie = 2319 & family = 2326 & product = 98796 selP)

  PA3381E-1ACA seems more to be available and PA3290E-2ACA has this note: "this adapter is a DC-in smaller form than part number PA3290U-1ACA-PA3290U-2ACA and PA3290U-1ACA are not interchangeable."

  My CD original, now broken, food seems to be the model of PA3381E-1ACA unabvailable.

  Anyone know who the other two power supplies is the correct replacement?
  Or can anyone suggest a market after feeding, which will be held on the car, air and entry to provide the right output (19v 6. 3A).

  Satellite P30-109 has PA3290U-1ACA adapter 100-240V AC 50 - 60 Hz 120W with 19V DC output. AFAIK all laptop P30 use the same adapter. Check the part number on the Toshiba page.

• Satellite P30-110: power supply keeps failing

  I have a Satellite P30-110, which has a strange problem with power. S battery get now, and I mainly use it on sector. The difficulty is that food keeps dropping out. Have disconnected and reconnected in the power cable to the rear are not working.

  I have to shut down the computer, unplug and plug back the power only, and restart the computer. Frequently, power falls again by restarting it's laptop computer, and I have to repeat the whole process often several times. Worse still, the s question arising more and more frequently.   I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 2100 and I have a problem with the memory upgrade.

  If you don't want to lose your work trial to save on a way you like it (data CD/DVD or copy files on the external HARD disk device).
