  Where can I find the latest drivers for the Radeon HD 2600? The Catalyst 7.11 since the official site of Ati/Amd works on a laptop? I read some stuff that these drivers do not support mobile maps and that there is a software for this problem, so I'm a bit confused now.

  What about drivers on the Toshiba site? They are more suitable? I don't really know.

  Of origin ATI/nVidia drivers are not designed for Toshiba laptops.
  ATI drivers can be used on desktop computers.
  The drivers of Toshiba graphics card supports thermal protection which is necessary to avoid the increase in temperature.
  Laptops, graphics cards do not have huge as cooling office modules graphics cards and therefore the GPU driver control the performance of the graphics card.

  What you could do is to check the site driver for 3rd party such as;
  www.OmegaDrivers.net.

  But the non-Toshiba drivers may be used only at your own risk!

  I removed Vista and installed XP Pro Service Pack 3, but I can't find the audio drivers right. I have a Toshiba Satellite L300N.
  I tried the audio driver on Toshiba download page. I also tried to install KB888111xpsp2.exe (support of the SAU) but no luck.

  Toshiba service replaced it by a new one, including a geforce 6600 gpu on my F10. So, now I formatted the laptop and I want to once again return to work. But I see that there are a few different devices, such as the 6600go gpu.

  I checked the European driver of Toshiba download page, and it seems that your model is only taken in charge of Vista and not XP. :(

  In my view, should look on external Web sites drivers, or somewhere else.
  Or if you try the Mobility Modder to change the original ATI drivers (Google is your friend).
  But be very careful with this! These drivers don't have protection against overheating and the graphics card may be damaged.

• Inspiron 8000 & Win XP - where can I find the drivers after upgrade HD?

  I replaced Win98, ME, with Win XP last year and found XP drivers on the support site. Now I want to upgrade the HD the original 10 GB to 80 GB and I'll try cloning the old HD with Acronis True Image 11, but if it goes wrong, I'll do a clean reinstall of Win XP.  Problem: support site now offers the drivers for all the operating systems (including Linux Redhat) - but is no longer for Win XP.

  2 questions:

  1. where can I find the necessary drivers now, if I have to reinstall Win XP from scratch?

  2. is it possible to clone my old HD 10 GB for my Maxtor 320 GB external HDD and clone then down to the Maxtor for my new 80 GB HD?

• Satellite L300-21F - where can I find the serial number?

  The ink on the toshiba money serial No./model No. Panel at the back of my laptop rubbed off after only a week of use, when I bought the pc last year. I now have a problem with my touchpad registers is not the movement of finger-cursor or shots at normal pressure. I have to press more strong most of the time for the action to be recorded. A third of the time it works fine at normal pressure.

  It is still under warranty. Unless someone can tell me of a possible reason for this [someone]? so I guess I should probably send it in for repair.

  Where can I find the serial No. information? It is stored electronically on windows anywhere? I have only a rough idea of what is the serial number - I managed to write most of it when I noticed that he had started to rub. I don't think that my laptop is saved online and I don't have the paperwork that came with the laptop in its box.

  In any case, I have the Satellite L300 too with Windows XP preinstalled. If I start Diagnostic PC Toshiba tools I can visualize all the details on my laptop and see also the serial number.

  A little history: I recently bought a version of Win7 to a Z930 in Auckland from PB Tech shop. I've updated to a clean version of Win8 64-bit. My Win8 seems works ok but I noticed something strange in the Toshiba PC Health Monitor - apparently the Toshiba HDD/SSD Alert is not installed, so I don't understand not his iconic display in the health monitor (but the health monitor think my SSD is in "Good" shape - maybe it's reading the INTELLIGENT of my SSD interface, or maybe it's just saying 'Good' because the integrity monitor is apparently able to operate?)

  I can easily find different versions of the Toshiba HDD/SSD Alert Utility in questionable Web sites - download, but I really prefer to get my Toshiba support drivers. Which leads to my question:

  Where can I get the right drivers for PT23LA-01 009? NZ nor the webarea to Toshiba support have this model in their menus. The closest match seems to be
