Satellite P300-220 - yellow exclamation on the sound card
Hello
I just lowered my Satellite p300 to XP pro, but it seems to me that I now have some problems.
-First of all, in Device Manager, I have a line "Audio device on Bus High Definition"with a yellow"?" and a «!» I installed the audio drivers and kb888111xpsp2.exe execution but that did not solve the problem, this line does not disappear.
D ' other hand, when I click on "my computer > properties" it is written that I had 2, RAM 96Go, but normally I have 4 GB. Is this normal? I'm a little afraid to see it and not know what to do.
Can someone help me?
Thanks in advance.
You must install Microsoft patches:
-KB888111
-KB835221
But these fixes are also part of the SP3!
In order to solve your problem, you need to remove the audio driver and the sound card in Device Manager. I then have to install SP3.
After SP3 has been installed, you can reinstall the sound driver
It is important that the pilot would be installed AFTER the SP3

Hello
don't know if you can help me on this one, I have more or less the same problem.
Bit long-winded, but we broken rececently, very clever thieves, stole a number of point with my computer with disks of Toshiba bag. (LOL) the lap top was next to the bag on the desk, they left.Since then contracted a virus which means I had to completely format the hard drive and installed XP.
No problem, but now I can not find the audio drivers right. Q. How can I identify the sound card on the top of the Tower?
You n t know what sound chip has your laptop?
On the Europe of Toshiba page you can find the drivers for this model of laptop.
I can see that the Realtek sound card driver has been released and so I'm 100% sure that the sound chip was made by Realtek. -

Satellite Pro M10: yellow (!) near the VGA controller
Hi all
When I start my computer I get a yellow exclamation at the bottom right saying hardware not found: VGA (video controller).
The computer works fine, but won't play videos.
I looked through the Toshiba drivers, using search terms "VGA", "video controller" and "Graphics", does not. I installed a driver "chip set", but that has no effect.
I used automatic updates from Microsoft, but again, no help.
My system is:
Toshiba Satellite Pro M10
Windows XP
Service Pack 2
Pentium clocked at 1.3 GHz
I also have a nVIDIA sticker on my laptop that I find to do with the video play stuffAny help would be greatly appreciated; This driver to install and where to find it.
Muchos gracias,
Doug

Satellite P300-220 - cannot run Recovery Disc Creator
Hello
Yesterday I received my new laptop (Satellite P300-220). Today, I'm trying to make a record of recovery and launch "Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator", the hourglass appears for 3 or 4 seconds but nothing else, cannot access the application.
Any idea?Thank you
Hello
Do you have something to change on the laptop before you start the Toshiba Recovery disk?
It's not easy to say which is the reason, but in your case I would start the recovery of HARD drive option. Go to the advanced boot menu, select fix my computer.

Satellite P300 itself keeps restarting after the initial splash screen.
My Satellite P300 itself keeps restarting after the initial splash screen.
Start-up of the first screen with the F2 and F12 options down is displayed, the screen goes black, then a cursor appears in the upper left corner and flashes once or twice. Then the laptop stops and restarts and goes through the same process again and again.
That's all with the power adapter is plugged in. If disconnected, he goes through the above process and close with no reboot.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Start your laptop and enter the settings of the BIOS (F2). Set to its default value. Restart your computer, and press F8 to access the advanced boot menu.
To start the laptop in safe mode and let us know if it works, try it please. -
Satellite P300-150: slow processor during the test with the id tool intel
Hello
I just bought a Satellite P300-150 and it was working well in general... play lotro with few problems, but not in dx10 cos it chuggs as hell.
I noticed he had a genuine problem of warhead of the crisis in the recommended settings, but thought it was just cos he couldn't do.
But I downloaded the untilty of Intel processor id and he gave the following results... as you can see on the bottom 4 lines the processor is very upset with the expected results for the frequency and buses (fewer than half actually).
Intel recommends if there is a huge gap, I need to contact the manufacturer... which brought me here.
Any advice before contacting tech support directly?

Satellite P300-150 was equipped with the Intel Core 2 Penryn T8300 processor.
This processor supports Enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology.Enhanced Intel SpeedStep technology allows the system to dynamically adjust the tension and the processor core frequency. This means that the CPU doesn't always work with maximum performance, but only if it of needed. This helps minimize the heat dissipation and allows to secure the battery energy!
The CPU seems to be slow check with the Intel ID tool ;)

Triangle of yellow exclamation in the VDR
Can someone tell me what means a yellow exclamation triangle in the VDR? VDR has worked well so far but suddemly
I have this triangle of yellow exclamation on the backup virtual servers im icon.
Thanks for your help
dudnee
When was the last good backup of this virtual machine?
A yellow triangle means generally that the virtual machine has had a good backup in the last days (I think it's in the last 3 days).
A red triangle means that the VM has not been saved in a week.

Satellite A110-294 does not recognize the wireless card
Hello
the question is:
Why my Satellite A110-294 does not recognize the wireless card?I re - install Xp PRO with all the drivers.
I have try all the drivers Wireless: Wlan intel + proset intel atheros wlan + wlesscmgr
I don't understand, can you help me?
Thank you
AndréHello
To my knowledge, the A110-294 uses the Atheros WLan card and therefore the Atheros Wlan dirver should be the right one.
You can find the latest driver for Atheros WLan here:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/Just a question;
You see the local network card in Device Manager? I mean, you should see an Ethernet controller or an unknown device in the network adapters
The driver is missing, then the device must be marked with a yellow exclamation point -

Does not DETECT THE SOUND CARD / laptop INSPIRON 1501
I have an INSPIRON 1501 laptop and have had problems with the sound for some time. When I watch movies, the sound is there. When I Skype, I can hear, but the other party can't hear what I'm saying. Skype can't detect sound card.
What I've done so far:
I went to control PANEL and then MANAGER of DEVICES, OTHER DEVICES. Here, I have only one BASIC DEVICE SYSTEM option with a yellow sign. I right click on properties, then under GENERAL clicked REINSTALL DRIVER, but Windows could not find driver software.
I also tried option SOUND, VIDEO and GAME CONTROLLERS in the DEVICE MANAGER. There is only one HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO DEVICE option and it is not marked.
Advice I have to install find the sound card.
Thanks for all your advice beforehand.
Thanks again for the support.
So, it is possible that the problem lies in a loose plug?Off topic:
When I turn on the PC, before Microsoft logo appears, I get the following message:
WARNING: The battery cannot be identified. This system will not be able to charge this battery.
Press any key to continue
Press F2 2 times to enter SETUP
Press F12 and any key to enter Boot Menu
What is the problem and how can I get rid of this message?

How can I get the sound card to play on the speakers of the car?
How can I get the sound card to play on the speakers of the car?
Usually connecting the phone to the car system - particularly at the point where you can play the music usually connects the Maps app
There is a switch at the bottom of the maps app with a speaker symbol that allows you to toggle between having the sound coming through the phone or Bluetooth
